NOTES:The LPGA Tour travels to Michigan this week for the inaugural Meijer
LPGA Classic at Blythefield Country Club in Grand Rapids. The top eight players in the world rankings are in the field, led by Stacy Lewis and Lydia Ko.

The top-ranked Lewis is the only player with three victories in 2014. She currently leads the money list by more than $316,000 over fellow American Michelle Wie. Lewis also leads the LPGA Tour in top-10 finishes this season with 13.

World No. 2 Ko has won twice this season, including the Marathon Classic three weeks ago in her last event. The 17-year-old is currently third on the money list behind Lewis and Wie with over $1 million in earnings. Lewis, Wie and Ko are the only three players that have surpassed the $1 million mark so far this season.

This tournament is the first time the LPGA Tour has played in Michigan since the 2000 Oldsmobile Classic in East Lansing. That event was played from 1992-2000 at Walnut Hills Country Club. Karrie Webb won the 2000 tournament and is in the field this week.

Meijer is a family owned retailer based in Grand Rapids that operates 210 supercenters and grocery stores throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. The company donates more than six percent of its net profits each year to charities, including hundreds of food banks throughout the Midwest.

Next week, the LPGA Tour moves to New York for the fourth major championship of the year, the Wegmans LPGA Championship. Inbee Park will defend her title at Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford.
