NOTES:The European Tour travels to Australia this week for the ISPS Handa
Perth International at Lake Karrinyup Country Club in Perth, Western Australia. Three of the top 50 players in the world are in the field -- Americans Dustin Johnson (21) and defending champion Bo Ven Pelt (44) and South African Branden Grace (42). The highest-ranked Australian in the field is Brett Rumford at No. 82 in the world. Johnson is playing for the first time since finishing fifth at the PGA Tour Championship one month ago.

This tournament is co-sanctioned by the European Tour and PGA Tour of Australasia. Lake Karrinyup Country Club also hosted the 2002 and 2003 Johnnie Walker Classic. Retief Goosen captured the title in 2002, while Ernie Els won in 2003. Els established the European Tour record for lowest winning 72-hole total in relation to par of 259 (-29) in 2003.

This tournament will be the seventh different European Tour event to be played in Australia. The other six were the Heineken Classic (1996-2005), Johnnie Walker Classic (1997, 2002-03, 06, 09), Greg Norman Holden International (2000-01), WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship (2001), ANZ Championship (2002-04) and Australian Masters (2007-09).

Last year, Van Pelt carded rounds of 70-67-67-68 to earn a 2-stroke win over Jason Dufner at the inaugural event. Van Pelt, who won for the first time on the European Tour, finished at 16-under-par 272.

The European Tour heads to China next week for the BMW Masters at Lake Malaren Golf Club in Shanghai, where Peter Hanson captured the 2012 title.
