Insight: That means Kane will be out for at least 24 days or 10 games. Kane fell head-first into the boards on Tuesday after taking a cross check to the lower back. Some reports are saying he could miss more than 10 weeks.
Description: The Chicago Tribune is now reporting Kane could miss even more than 10 weeks due to his crash into the boards on Tuesday night.
Insight: The rumors continue to circle, and fantasy owners won't know anything for sure until Wednesday at the earliest. The reports, however, have all been negative, so at the very least, owners need a replace for the next month.
Description: Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane left Tuesday's game after crashing head first into the boards against the Panthers.
Insight: Kane skated off the ice favoring his shoulder. Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune tweeted he may have a broken collarbone, but he made it clear that has not been confirmed. He also reported Kane will miss more than six weeks and maybe as many as 10 weeks. ESPN also confirmed Kane will be out six to 10 weeks. Not good news for a guy who came into Tuesday as the leader in points.
Description: Canucks winger Radim Vrbata had a goal and an assist in the shutout over the Islanders on Sunday.
Insight: Vrbata scored both his goal and the assist on the power play. Vancouver scored three goals in the second period and then added an empty-netter to win, 4-0. Vrbata has 22 goals and 20 assists in 56 games this season.
Description: Penguins right winger Patric Hornqvist scored a pair of goals and added an assist as Pittsburgh defeated Florida, 5-1.
Insight: Hornqvist has been scoring some dirty goals lately, which is exactly what the Penguins needed to jump start their offense. Hornqvist has also scored on the power play twice in the last two games after Pittsburgh entered the weekend scoreless on its last 19 power-play attempts. Hornqvist has 18 goals and 19 assists in 47 games this season.
Description: Capitals right wing Joel Ward scored a goal during Sunday's loss against the Flyers.
Insight: It is nice to see that Ward has double-digits in goals (14), but with just 25 points through 61 games, he is not a relevant option. Tom Wilson also lit the lamp for Washington on the afternoon.
Description: Flyers winger Wayne Simmonds extended his point streak to seven games on Saturday afternoon.
Insight: He also scored in the shootout, to help Philadelphia defeat the Predators. Simmonds now has 23 goals, 41 points, and 48 penalty minutes through 59 games this season, and will continue to be a major threat on the power play.
Description: Capitals winger Eric Fehr notched his 17th goal of the season during Saturday's shootout victory over the Islanders.
Insight: He has been up and down this season, but has decent overall numbers, with 17 goals, 25 points, and a plus-nine rating. Matt Niskanen also lit the lamp in regulation for Washington, with Evgeny Kuznetsov recording the winner in the shootout.
Description: Blues right wing T.J. Oshie had a goal and an assist in the, 5-1, victory over the Bruins on Friday.
Insight: Oshie scored St. Louis' third goal in nearly a span of five minutes to start the second period and then assisted Vladimir Tarasenko's power-play goal about nine minutes later. Oshie has 16 goals and 23 assists with a plus-13 rating this season.

Insight: Gallagher scored the first two goals of the game at the start of the second period. Florida responded to tie the game and win in overtime. Gallagher has 15 goals and 17 assists in 58 games this season.
Description: Rangers winger Martin St. Louis had a goal and an assist in the shootout loss on Thursday versus the Canucks.
Insight: St. Louis assisted Derek Stepan's goal in the first period and then tied the game with a goal in the third period. Afterwards, New York took the lead, 4-3, on Carl Hagelin's goal, but Vancouver answered to send the game into overtime. St. Louis has 16 goals and 26 assists this season.

Insight: Bennett was everywhere, recording five shots on net in the first period alone. Bennett took a shot that hit off Corey Crawford's pad and redirected right to Nick Spaling, who scored on the play. Bennett was credited with an assist. At this rate, Bennett could begin to see some more power-play time as Pittsburgh tries to break its 0-for-15 streak it has on the man advantage in the last seven games.

Insight: Okposo suffered a detatched retina in late January, and he isn't projected to return until at least the middle of March. Therefore, it isn't too much of a surprise that he hasn't skated in practice. Okposo has 44 points in 46 games this season.
Description: Rangers rookie winger Kevin Hayes scored for the third straight game on Saturday.
Insight: Hayes found the back of the net on the penalty kill as the Rangers scored four unanswered goals in the final period versus the Coyotes on Saturday. In addition to three consecutive games with a goal, he has five straight games with a point. Hayes has 10 goals and 15 assists in 51 games this season.
Description: Capitals right winger Alex Ovechkin scored versus the Kings on Saturday to pull within one goal of Rick Nash for the league lead in goals.
Insight: Nash scored earlier on Saturday to increase his lead to two, but Ovechkin answered with his own score. He led Washington with five shots on net. Ovechkin has 34 goals and 19 assists in 56 games this season.
Description: Jets blueliner Dustin Byfuglien didn't take any penalties on Saturday, but he still contributed to his fantasy clubs.
Insight: Byfuglien is fifth in the league in PIM, 107, but he showcased his skill with two assists versus the Red Wings. He assisted Chris Thorburn's goal in the first period and then Andrew Ladd's score on the power play. Byfuglien has 14 goals and 26 assists in 58 games this season.
