Insight: He also assisted on Sam Gagner OT winner. It is nice to see that he has 21 goals, but with a modest total of 40 points and a minus-16 rating, Ekman-Larsson is not a great fantasy option.

Description: Islanders defenseman Johnny Boychuk found the back of the net Thursday versus Los Angeles.
Insight: Boychuk has been a great pickup for the Islanders, and now has eight goals, 33 points, and a plus-10 rating through 65 games.

Description: Flyers defenseman Andrew MacDonald will miss the rest of the season with a fractured right hand.
Insight: MacDinald did not have the season some anticipated, with just 12 points through 58 games. He will be fine to start the 2015-16 campaign.

Description: Canucks defenseman Alexander Edler scored the game-winning goal in Vancouver's, 3-1, victory over the Coyotes on Sunday.
Insight: Edler scored on the power play at the 16:47 mark of the third period to break the, 1-1, tie. Henrik Sedin added an empty net goal as insurance. Edler led the team with five shots on net. He has seven goals and 14 assists in 64 games this season.

Insight: Carle had assists on J.T. Brown's goal in the first period and then Jason Garrison's score in the second period. Carle has four goals and 13 assists with a plus-13 rating in 50 games this season.

Insight: He had a goal and an assist, along with four shots, two penalty minutes and a plus-two rating on the night. Hamonic now has five goals and 29 points overall.

Insight: Vatanen had missed 15 games, but posted an assist on Corey Perry's goal. He has 12 goals and 23 assists in 58 games this season and is the point man on the Ducks power play. Make sure he's back in your lineup.

Insight: The lack of scoring is getting a little ridiculous for Pittsburgh. The Penguins have scored two goals in the last 12 periods. Evgeni Malkin, Sidney Crosby and Patric Hornqvist haven't played in all of those 12 periods, but it is still embarrassing. Letang led the team with seven shots on Thursday. He has 11 goals and 42 assists with a plus-12 rating in 65 games this season.

Insight: Dumba isn't in many fantasy lineups, but he did get the victory for Devan Dubnyk owners. Dumba has seven goals and four assists in 46 games this season.
