Insight: Johnson scored the first two goals of the game, and then a third goal to extend the Tampa Bay lead to, 4-0, over Pittsburgh. The Penguins came storming back, but Tampa Bay held on, 4-3. Johnson has been a pleasant surprise this season with 13 goals and 24 assists and a plus-23 rating in 35 games.
Description: Predators forward Craig Smith scored twice against the Blue Jackets.
Insight: Smith scored two even-strength goals with the first coming in the second period and the second coming in the final period. Nashville routed Columbus, 5-1. Smith has 10 goals and nine assists this season.
Description: Senators center Kyle Torris scored both goals in Ottawa's, 2-0, victory over New Jersey.
Insight: Turris scored on the power play early in the first period and then added an empty-net goal inside of one-second left in the game. Turris has six goals and 15 assists with a minus-eight rating in 31 games this season.
Description: Nashville center Mike Ribeiro scored his ninth goal of the season on Tuesday.
Insight: Ribeiro scored within the first two minutes of the third period as Nashville took a, 2-1, lead, but Boston responded with a goal about two minutes later. The Predators eventually won in the shootout. Ribeiro has nine goals and 17 assists with a plus-13 rating this season.
Description: Jets center Mark Scheifele recorded three points during Tuesday's victory against the Sabres.
Insight: he had two goals and an assist, along with five shots on goal, two penalty minutes, and a plus-two rating. Scheifele now has six goals and 16 points through 32 games, giving owners a reason to give him a look.

Description: Penguins center Sidney Crosby has the mumps according to TSN's Bob McKenzie.
Insight: After his tests came back negative on Friday, second tests have apparently said Crosby has the disease spreading through the league. Crosby will miss Monday's game against the Lightning, which is a big loss for fantasy owners, but hopefully he returns shortly after that.

Insight: Crosby underwent tests for the mumps, which has been spreading around the league, and when the tests came back negative, Crosby practiced Friday. Then on Saturday, he sat out again to undergo further tests. Pittsburgh next plays Tampa Bay on Monday and would really like to have Crosby back, along with all fantasy owners, but Sid's status is up in the air.
Description: Stars center Tyler Seguin scored a goal on Saturday to retake the points lead.
Insight: Earlier Saturday, Jakub Voracek of Philadelphia scored two points to take the league lead. Seguin scored the first goal of the game and then assisted the next goal to retake first place. Seguin has 38 points, including 23 goals, which also leads the league.
Description: Stars coach Lindy Ruff moved Jason Spezza back to the top line with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn, and Spezza responded with a goal and an assist on Saturday.
Insight: Spezza assisted Seguin's goal to start the game and then fewer than three minutes later, Seguin assisted Spezza's score. Spezza has six goals and 18 assists this season, and he is a must-start when he is on the top line. Unfortunately, he also comes with a minus-nine rating.
Description: Lightning center Steven Stamkos had an assist and was even on Saturday.
Insight: Not a great game for Stamkos but considering his most of his teammates were minus-one, minus-two or even minus-three in the, 4-2, loss, owners will take Stamkos' stats versus the Capitals. He has 17 goals and 16 assists this season.
Description: Blue Jackets winger Boone Jenner didn't take a shot in the shootout at the end of the game, but had the most important penalty shot of Saturday's game versus the Penguins.
Insight: Jenner earned a penalty shot attempt with the Blue Jackets trailing, 2-1, inside of eight minutes left in regulation. He beat Thomas Greiss to tie the game. Jenner also had an assist on the first goal of the game on the power play.
Description: Ducks center Ryan Getzlaf recorded two points during Friday's victory against the Oilers.
Insight: He had a goal and an assist, along with three shots on goal, four penalty minutes, and a plus-one rating. Another solid season for Getzlaf, who now has nine goals and 31 points through 30 games.
