Hansen has been improving his offense over the last two seasons and has made himself into a low-end fantasy option. He scored 27 points in 47 games last season with a solid +12 rating. He's totaled two goals and two assists in 11 games so far this year.

Insight: Sedin had an assist on Yannick Weber's power-play goal and Radim Vrbata's score in the second period. Then Sedin scored an empty-netter. He has 17 goals and 48 assists in 73 games this season.

Insight: Vrbata was all over the ice, leading his team with seven shots on net. No one else for Vancouver even had five. All three of Vrbata's points came at even strength. He has 29 goals and 27 assists in 70 games this season.

Insight: Burrows missed Friday's game as well. It's not expected to be a long-term injury. He's having a decent season with 25 points, including 12 goals, but fantasy owners can still remember a time when he was a 28-30 goal scorer. Those days are gone.

Insight: Sedin scored twice in the third period with the second goal tying the game, 4-4, and sending it into overtime. Sedin's first goal was on the power play. He has 12 goals and 38 assists in 57 games this season.

Insight: Burrows scored on passes from Ryan Stanton and Kevin Bieksa. The score made it, 3-0, Canucks which was the final score versus the Hurricanes. Burrows has 10 goals and nine assists in 38 games this season.

Insight: He has not played since Dec. 17, as Ryan Miller is clearly atop the depth chart in Vancouver. Lack, however could make for a solid daily play, as he has a 2.59 GAA and .916 save percentage through 11 games.

Insight: Vancouver moved Vrbata off the first line in Friday's practice, but starting the third period on Saturday, the Canucks had Vrbata back playing with the Sedins. Vrbata should stay there with his 12 goals and 11 assists in 28 games this season.

Insight: An early-season favorite for the Vezina Trophy, Miller has allowed 11 goals over the last three games, and in one of those contests, he played just 25 minutes. His save percentage in that stretch is .820. Hopefully Miller can get back on track with some time off as the Canucks play next on Wednesday.

Insight: Richardson was involved on every score as Vancouver defeated Pittsburgh, 3-0. He scored the first goal of the game and then assisted Shawn Matthias' goal. Then Richardson scored shorthanded to give the Canucks a three-goal lead. Richardson finished the game plus-three with five shots on net. He has six goals and seven assists this season.

Insight: It was Richardson's first two goals of the season. Despite the sudden production, don't expect much from Richardson going forward. He had just eight goals and nine assists in 62 games last season.

Insight: Higgins scored the first goal of the game 41 seconds into the first period. St. Louis tied the game in the second period, then Higgins assisted the go-ahead goal from Nick Bonino at the beginning of the third period. It proved to be the game-winner as Vancouver won, 4-1.

Insight: He added an assist as well, and now has six points on the season. Sedin had a +2 rating, along with the one shot on goal. If he is able to stay healthy, Sedin will be a dynamic fantasy player, yet again.

Insight: Miller stopped 23 of 25 shots in a victory over the Flames in Calgary on Thursday. Vancouver will welcome the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday. Miller could be a top-10 fantasy goalie again this season, but he must play well against the lower-tier teams like Edmonton in order for that to happen.
Description: Winger Radim Vrbata signed a two-year contract with the Vancouver Canucks and should enjoy his time there on a line with Daniel and Henrik Sedin.
Insight: The 33-year-old Vrbata had 20 goals, 31 assists, 263 SOG and 21 PPP last season, so he was still a quality fantasy winger and is the first option to play with the twins. We're predicting an increase in scoring to 29 goals and 56 points for the upcoming season.
Description: Vancouver left wing Daniel Sedin missed nine games last season and played hurt in other which explains his fall from 2012-13 to last season's 47-point production.
Insight: Entering his 14th season, Sedin's injury concerns and simply the effects of nearly 1,000 games is a worry, but we think he bounces back with a solid 28 goal, 32 assist season. No, it's not the 104 points he produced in 2010-11, but he's still a useful fantasy asset.
Description: Radim Vrbata has signed a two-year contract with the Vancouver Canucks.
Insight: The 33-year-old Vrbata had 20 goals, 31 assists, 263 SOG and 21 PPP last season, so he was still a quality fantasy winger. His value will grow on the Canucks, especially if he's used on the top line with the Sedins.
Description: Goalie Ryan Miller signed a three-year, $18 million contract with the Canucks on Tuesday.
Insight: Eddie Lack had a 2.41 GAA, a .912 SV% and four shutouts as a rookie last year, but the Canucks decided to bring in the top goalie on the free agent market in Miller. Miller, a former Vezina Trophy winner, had a 2.64 GAA and a .918 SV% with the Sabres and Blues last season, but he played poorly in the final month of the regular season and the playoffs.
