Price needs to be Montreal's best player in the final two games if the Canadiens are going to erase this, 3-0, hole. Tampa Bay leads the series, 3-2.

Insight: None of the goals were Price's fault. Tampa Bay had some incredible passes, which led to wide open nets and unsavable chances. Montreal's defense was awful, and the team continued to take penalties and put Price in bad situations. Tampa Bay went 4-for-8 on the man advantage in the game. Price finished the game with 18 saves on 24 chances.

Insight: Senators goaltender Craig Anderson was stealing the show as he worked on a shutout deep into the third period, but Dal Weise scored late in the period and then in overtime to spoil Anderson's great performance. Price didn't get as much work as Anderson, but he stopped 33-of-34 shot attempts. Montreal leads the series, 3-0.

Insight: Weise tied the game at one with under six minutes to play in regulation. He then scored about nine minutes into overtime for the game-winner. There was some controversy about the game-winning goal as it might have gone off a Canadiens skater's glove before the puck found Weise in the offensive zone, in which case, the play should have been stopped. It will be interesting to see if anything new comes out regarding the final play, but nonetheless, Montreal has a, 3-0, series lead.
Description: Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban had two assists and finished plus-one before receiving a game misconduct in Game 1 against the Senators.
Insight: Subban assisted both of Montreal's first two goals as the Canadiens took a, 2-1, lead early in the second, but Subban then took a baseball-like swing and slashed Marc Stone right above his gloves on his wrists. Stone looked badly hurt, and Subban received a game misconduct. Stone, though, returned shortly after, so some have speculated that he embellished the call a little. Even without Subban and already without Max Pacioretty, the Canadiens won, 4-3.
Description: Canadiens winger Brian Flynn had a goal and two assists in the, 4-3, victory over the Senators in Game 1 on Wednesday.
Insight: Flynn helped Montreal get going in what was a wild second period. Flynn assisted Torrey Mitchell's goal and then Lars Eller's shorthanded goal. Then, in Ottawa tied it at three, Flynn scored the sixth and final goal of the second period, which also proved to be the game-winner.
Description: Canadiens goaltender Carey Price didn't look great, but he did win his 44th game of the season on Saturday.
Insight: Price allowed three goals against the Maple Leafs to record a .864 save percentage, but he stopped both Toronto shots in the shootout. Price finishes the regular season 44-16-6 and is the favor to win the Vezina Trophy.

Insight: Prust has been a penalty minutes specialist this season with 128 PIM, but he helped with the scoring on Tuesday. Prust assisted Alexei Emelin's goal and then Jacob De La Rose's shorthanded score. He has four goals and 12 assists this season.
Description: Canadiens goaltender Carey Price allowed just one goal on Saturday against the high-flying New York Islanders.
Insight: Although they have struggled lately, the Islanders are still second behind only the Lightning in goals scored in the Eastern Conference, so it was an impressive outing for Price. It was also a nice rebound from allowing five goals versus the Senators on Thursday. Price is 38-14-4 and is our choice for the Vezina Trophy winner.

Insight: Desharnais scored both of his goals in the final period as insurance. Not that Carey Price needed it, who has allowed more than two goals just once in his last 10 starts. Desharnais has 11 goals and 27 assists with a plus-22 rating this season.
Description: Montreal defenseman Andrei Markov recorded two points during Thursday's victory over the Blue Jackets.
Insight: He had a goal and an assist, along with three shots and an impressive plus-five rating. Markov should be owned everywhere, with eight goals, 38 points, 26 penalty minutes, and a plus-13 rating through 61 games.

Insight: He also had six shots on goal and a plus-two rating on the night. Pacioretty is a top-15 option in standard leagues, with 29 goals, 52 points, 22 penalty minutes, and a plus-33 rating this season.

Description: Canadiens goaltender Carey Price carried Montreal to victory against the Flames on Tuesday.
Insight: Price stopped 37-of-38 shots for a .974 save percentage while the Canadiens mustered only 10 shots on goal even including overtime. Montreal, however, scored the lone shoot out goal and won, 2-1.
Description: Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban scored two goals on three shots against the Avalanche on Saturday.
Insight: He also contributed two hits and two penalty minutes. Subban's first goal was a slap shot on the power play to tie the score at one at the beginning of the second period. To cap off three straight goals, Subban scored on a wrister at the 17:59 mark of the second.
Description: Canadiens goaltender Carey Price was pulled after giving up four goals to Tampa Bay.
Insight: He had 19 saves on 23 shots, and was taken out after the second period. Dustin Tokarski took over, and did not fare much better, as he gave up three goals on 11 shots. This is just a hiccup for Price, who is still an elite option in net.

Insight: Plekanec had been the first center option for the penalty kill, but Manny Malhotra is healthy and has taken over that role. That allows Plekanec to be much more offensive. He has three goals, seven shots on net and a plus-two rating in the first two games this season.

Insight: Price won the season opener on Wednesday against the Maple Leafs, but he got the night off Thursday in Washington. Backup goalie Dustin Tokarski won that game. Price should return to your starting fantasy lineup on Saturday.

Insight: Plekanec scored to tie the game early in the second period and then scored the game-winner with less than a minute to go in the third period. Plekanec also had five shots on goal, won 10 faceoffs and finished with a plus-one.

Insight: Montreal plays back-to-back days to start the season, and the team does not want Carey Price to play in consecutive games to begin the year. Tokarski played well in the Eastern Conference Finals last spring against the Rangers.

Insight: He had 19 goals and 22 assists, and is just 22-years-old. Gallagher should continue to improve, as he plays on Montreal's top line. His current 14th round value, could turn into a steal of a pick.
