Insight: The 24-year-old Schultz came into the NHL with huge expectations after putting up 48 points in 34 games in the AHL in 2012-13, but he's yet to be that type of guy in the NHL. At TSN we have him posting 52 points (20 goals) in 2014-15 and getting a lot closer to those lofty goals.
Description: Edmonton left wing David Perron came close to a 30-30 season, finishing with 28 goals and 29 assists.
Insight: Perron would be a lot more valuable if he were playing on the top line, but he's more likely to be a second line winger with Benoit Pouliot and a question mark. It's the question mark that is the cause for his TSN projections dropping to 20 goals and 26 assists.
Description: Oilers right wing Jordan Eberle should be the third member of Edmonton's top line along with Taylor Hall and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.
Insight: Eberle (28 G, 37 A) has been a solid points producer for the last three seasons and as long as he stays on this line should be a viable fantasy option, but he's not trending upward like Hall. Another Oiler with a bad plus/minus rating.
Description: Oilers center Ryan Nugent-Hopkins produced career-best number sin 2013 with 56 points.
Insight: He's only 21-years-old, starting his fourth season, and should be on both the first line and power play unit, so 60-70 points is possible. We'd like him and the Oilers to play better defense as the -12 rating isn't helping his ADP.
Description: Edmonton Oilers young left wing Taylor Hall took a giant leap forward last season, from 50 points in 2012 to 80 points last season but may not make as big a leap this time around.
Insight: We're primarily concerned about the talent surrounding him. He posted 80 points last season (27 G, 53 A), but could take a step back if his teammates can't play at his level. TSN projections have him with 36 goals and 46 assists.
