Michal Neuvirth, G12/16/2014 10:45:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth allowed five goals on 36 shots during Tuesday's loss to the Jets.

Description: Sabres left winger Matt Moulson scored a goal in Monday's shootout win against the Senators.
Insight: He also had three shots on goal and a minus-one rating on the night. Moulson now has seven goals and 15 points overall. There are better options out there.
Nikita Zadorov, D12/13/2014 10:07:00 PM
Description: Sabres defenseman Nikita Zadorov had his best fantasy day of the season on Saturday.
Insight: Zadorov scored a goal and an assist as Buffalo defeated Florida, 4-3. He still isn't fantasy relevant, however, as two of his three points of the season came in this game.
Jhonas Enroth, G12/11/2014 9:47:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth faced 45 shots during Thursday's win against Calgary.
Insight: Enroth stopped 42 of them and raised his record to 8-10-1. He has now won six of his past eight starts.
Matt Moulson, LW12/11/2014 9:46:00 PM
Description: Sabres left winger Matt Moulson scored two goals during Thursday's victory versus Calgary.
Insight: He now has six goals and 14 points through 29 games, but Moulson is not a relevant fantasy option at the moment.
Zemgus Girgensons, C12/11/2014 9:44:00 PM
Description: Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons recorded two points in Thursday's win against the Flames.
Insight: He had a goal and an assist, along with a plus-three rating on the night. Girgensons now has 16 points through 29 games.
Jhonas Enroth, G12/9/2014 10:09:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth bounced back from his last performance, to earn a shutout Tuesday against Los Angeles.
Insight: After losing 5-0 on Dec. 4, Enroth stopped all 34 shots on Tuesday night. He is now 7-10-1, and should not be considered a relevant option.
Tyler Ennis, LW12/9/2014 10:07:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis scored the team's lone goal during Tuesday's win against the Kings.
Insight: The goal was massive with the Sabres winning 1-0. Ennis now has eight goals and 17 points through 28 games, but is also minus-10 overall.
Michal Neuvirth, G12/7/2014 10:59:00 AM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth allowed three goals on 37 shots during Saturday's loss to the Panthers.
Insight: Neuvirth should remain on the waiver wire, as he is 3-6-1 with a 2.87 GAA and.920 save percentage. He continues to be the backup in Buffalo.
Drew Stafford, RW12/6/2014 9:39:00 PM
Description: Sabres right wing Drew Stafford scored a goal during Saturday's loss to the Panthers.
Insight: He now has five goals and nine points through 24 games, but a minus-11 rating as well. Stafford is not a relevant fantasy option.
Jhonas Enroth, G12/2/2014 10:25:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth made 26 saves in Tuesday's shootout win against Tampa Bay.
Insight: He allowed only one goal, and improved his record to 6-9-1. Enroth is not a recommended fantasy option.
Zemgus Girgensons, C12/2/2014 10:23:00 PM
Description: Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons extened his point-streak to three games on Tuesday.
Insight: He scored Buffalo's lone goal, and now has eight goals and 14 points on the season.
Jhonas Enroth, G11/29/2014 10:24:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth made 41 saves as Buffalo stole another one from the Canadiens.
Insight: Buffalo swept Montreal in the weekend home-and-home series. It took a shootout on Saturday where Enroth stopped all five Canadiens attempts. Enroth made 71 saves in the two victories this weekend.
Jhonas Enroth, G11/28/2014 10:29:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth had one of his best starts of the season on Friday.
Insight: Enroth stopped 30-of-31 shots versus the first-place Canadiens. The victory is Enroth's fourth of the season.
Tyler Ennis, LW11/28/2014 10:15:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis scored the highlight goal of the night on Friday.
Insight: He drove to the net on Carey Price during the first period, cut across the crease, and beat Price with a no-look, backhanded shot. Seriously, check out the video. Ennis also had an assist. He has six goals and eight helpers this season.
Jhonas Enroth, G11/26/2014 9:43:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth continued to be a poor fantasy option.
Insight: He took the loss to the Jets after stopping 24-of-26 shots on goal, and is now 3-9-1 on the season.
Matt Moulson, LW11/22/2014 10:08:00 PM
Description: Sabres left winger Matt Moulson scored a goal in Saturday's win against the Capitals.
Insight: He was also +1 on the night, and now has nine points on the season. Moulson should be left on the waiver wire.
Jhonas Enroth, G11/22/2014 10:04:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth played great Saturday against the Capitals.
Insight: Enroth was amazing and stopped 43 shots on goal. However, he should be kept off the fantasy radar, as his record is now 3-8-1.
Matt Moulson, LW11/15/2014 10:16:00 PM
Description: Sabres left winger Matt Moulson scored a goal and two assists on Saturday.
Insight: It was the biggest outburst of offensive production for Buffalo against the Maple Leafs, so that makes fantasy owners happy who continue to count on Sabres players. Moulson was plus-two with three shots as well. He has still been a big disappointment this season as he has just two goals and six assists.
Zemgus Girgensons, C11/15/2014 10:13:00 PM
Description: Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons scored two goals against the Maple Leafs.
Insight: Buffalo scored a season-high six goals on Saturday to win its fourth game of the season. Girgensons was the only Sabre with multiple goals and a plus-four rating. He has six goals and four assists this season.
Zemgus Girgensons, C11/13/2014 10:37:00 PM
Description: Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons recorded two points during Thursday's loss to Minnesota.
Insight: He also had two shots and a +1 rating on the night, but should not be considered a fantasy option for the time being.
Tyler Ennis, LW11/11/2014 10:59:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis scored a goal in Tuesday's loss to the Blues.
Insight: Ennis scored the lone Buffalo goal and had five shots. Ennis has five goals and three assists in 17 games.
Jhonas Enroth, G11/8/2014 9:30:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth allowed six goals on 39 shots during Saturday's loss to the Penguins.
Insight: Pittsburgh was on fire Saturday, and Enroth did not stand a chance. He is now an underwhelming 1-7-1 on the season.
Matt Moulson, LW11/7/2014 9:56:00 PM
Description: Sabres left winger Matt Moulson scored his first goal of the season on Friday.
Insight: That is a big indicator of how bad the Buffalo offense has been. Moulson should be one of their top scorers, and he has just three points through 15 games. He is also minus-six on the year.
Michal Neuvirth, G11/5/2014 10:43:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth allowed just one goal on 32 shots against the Candiens on Wednesday.
Insight: Neuvirth, however, yielded two goals in the shootout as Buffalo lost, 2-1. Neuvirth is now 2-3-1 on the season.
Tyler Ennis, LW10/30/2014 9:49:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis scored a goal in Thursday's loss to Boston.
Insight: He had an assist and three shots on goal as well, but was -1 on the night. It was Ennis' first assist of the season, and he will need to pick it up, to be considered a reliable fantasy option.
Michal Neuvirth, G10/28/2014 10:29:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth allowed four goals on 37 shots against the Maple Leafs on Tuesday.
Insight: It was just a sad performance overall from Buffalo, who only mustered 10 shots on net. Neuvirth can't be counted on in fantasy if his team is not going to support him at all.
Cody Hodgson, C10/25/2014 6:39:00 PM
Description: Sabres center Cody Hodgson scored his first goal of the season on Saturday.
Insight: He has not gotten off to the start that owners wished he would, but hopefully this goal will gets Hodgson going. Nicolas Deslauriers scored the other tally for Buffalo, his second-career goal.
Michal Neuvirth, G10/25/2014 6:33:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth earned his first win of the season, by defeating the Sharks on Saturday.
Insight: He stopped 29-of-30 shots, and played extremely well. However, Neuvirth is cemented in as Buffalo's backup goalie, moving forward.
Zemgus Girgensons, C10/18/2014 9:54:00 PM
Description: Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons was one of the more impressive Sabres' skaters on Saturday against the Bruins.
Insight: That's not saying much since Boston won, 4-0. Girgensons had four shots, a hit and had an even rating. On a night the Sabres were shut out, fantasy owners should take that.
Jhonas Enroth, G10/18/2014 2:27:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth will be back in net for Buffalo on Saturday night.
Insight: After losing a tough one on Friday to the Panthers, 1-0, the Sabres are sticking with the hot hand. Owners need to make sure he is in their lineups, as goalies rarely play back-to-back nights.
Jhonas Enroth, G10/17/2014 9:49:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth took a tough-luck loss Friday against Florida.
Insight: He stopped 34-of-35 shots, but Buffalo was unable to give Enroth any support, as the Sabres fell 1-0. Enroth is not a recommended fantasy play, moving forward.
Marcus Foligno, LW10/14/2014 10:55:00 PM
Description: Sabres left wing Marcus Foligno scored twice on Tuesday against the Hurricanes.
Insight: Foligno scored the game's first goal and then he added insurance for Buffalo at the beginning of the third to make the score, 3-1. Carolina rallied, however, to send the game into overtime. Buffalo eventually won on a long shootout that went eight rounds and was finished by Zemgus Girgensons' goal.
Zemgus Girgensons, C10/14/2014 10:50:00 PM
Description: Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons scored a goal in the eighth round of the shootout to defeat the Hurricanes, 4-3.
Insight: Matt Moulson converted the Sabres first shootout opportunity and Chris Terry answered for the Hurricanes in their second shot. The teams then traded shootout misses. Girgensons finally ended the deadlock with a score on Buffalo's eighth shootout chance.
Michal Neuvirth, G10/13/2014 7:23:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth faced 44 shots during Monday's loss to Anaheim.
Insight: He let up five goals on the flurry of shots he faced. Neuvirth is now 0-3-0 on the season, and is not a recommended option.
Tyler Ennis, LW10/13/2014 7:12:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Tyler Ennis scored Buffalo's lone goal on Monday.
Insight: It was his second goal of the season, and he was one of the only players to play well for Buffalo on Monday afternoon. Ennis should have no problem reaching the 20-goal mark again in 2014-15.
Zemgus Girgensons, C10/9/2014 9:53:00 PM
Description: Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons scored his team's only goal of opening night against the Blue Jackets as Columbus won, 3-1.
Insight: Girgensons had two shots and finished the game with a plus-one rating in over 15 minutes of ice time. He also won 53 percent of his faceoffs.
Tyler Myers, D9/22/2014 6:26:00 PM
Description: It is not out of the question for Tyler Myers to return to the 40-point level for the 2014-2015 season.
Insight: Myers has not reached the 40-point mark again since his rookie season in 2008-2009, the year he won the Calder Trophy as the league's top rookie. Myers, however, played much better under coach Ted Nolan, who took over mid-way through last year. He will also be paired with his good friend, Josh Gorges, on the blue line.
Drew Stafford, RW9/22/2014 6:21:00 PM
Description: Sabres right wing Drew Stafford is trying to repeat his 30-goal season from the 2009-2010 season.
Insight: Stafford told the Buffalo News that the Sabres enter this season with higher expectations despite finishing last year with the fewest points in the NHL. With the right linemates, Stafford could threaten the 30-goal mark again, but with his situation in flex, he is not a player worth spending a high pick on in the draft. We see Stafford in the 15-20 goal range this year.
Chris Stewart, RW9/22/2014 6:16:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Chris Stewart is one of the biggest boom-or-bust fantasy hockey players for the 2014-2015 season.
Insight: Stewart told Buffalo News that he has high expectations for himself this season, and he has the motivation to succeed being in a contract year. Still, Stewart sometimes goes long stretches without a point. It will depend greatly on his situation this year, but he should be one of Buffalo's top six forwards with around 17 goals and 30-35 points.
Cody Hodgson, C9/22/2014 6:09:00 PM
Description: Sabres center Cody Hodgson looks like he will have a lot of upside playing on Buffalo's top line this season.
Insight: The Sabres have a lot of young, and they, hope up-and-coming players, and it is unclear how they will use them all. Hodgson should benefit from Matt Moulson's presence on the power play, but he needs to show more two-way ability to see more playing time overall.
Matt Moulson, LW9/22/2014 5:57:00 PM
Description: In his return to Buffalo, Matt Moulson has a chance to lead the Sabres in scoring this season.
Insight: Moulson played for three different teams last year, so he was likely never comfortable enough with his linemates or locker room situation to return to his 30-goal form. Buffalo hopes he can reach the 30-goal mark this season for the first time since 2010-2011. Our projections have him getting close, leading Buffalo with 27 goals and 55 points.
Tyler Ennis, LW9/22/2014 5:49:00 PM
Description: Tyler Ennis' agent, Eustace King, predicted this past summer that Ennis will peak around 30 goals and 70 points.
Insight: King is not going to come forward and say his client is going to perform badly, so on some level, this doesn't really mean much. We see Ennis more around the 50-55 point range with 20-25 goals. He will play alongside Matt Moulson for an entire season this year, which will help, but we don't see a 10 goal increase from 21 scores a year ago.
Tyler Ennis, LW7/17/2014 3:34:00 PM
Description: The Sabres have signed Tyler Ennis to a multiyear contract extension.
Insight: The 24-year-old had a career-high 21 goals and added 22 assists and 210 SOG over 80 games in 2013-14. The talent is lacking in Buffalo so he likely won't be much better than that in 2014-15.
Matt Moulson, LW7/2/2014 5:48:00 PM
Description: Matt Moulson signed a five-year, $25 million contract with the Sabres Tuesday.
Insight: The Islanders trade of Moulson to the Sabres for Thomas Vanek last season promptly sunk his fantasy value. He had 11 goals and 18 assists in 44 games with Buffalo before being dealt to Minnesota, where he had six goals and seven assists in 20 games. He'll be a 50-point player at best in 2014-15 given the talent level on the Sabres.
Zenon Konopka, C5/15/2014 6:36:00 PM
Description: Sabres center Zenon Konopka has been suspended 20 games for violating the league's substance abuse policy. SOURCE: NHL.com
Insight: It's not a big loss for fantasy owners as Konopka contributed just three points (one goal, two assists) in 59 games last season. Being a restricted free agent, the 20-game ban could make it harder for Konopka to find work this offseason.
Christian Ehrhoff, D4/13/2014 3:18:00 PM
Description: Buffalo defenseman Christian Ehrhoff suffered a concussion Saturday and will miss the season finale Sunday against the Islanders, according to nhl.com.
Insight: Ehrhoff (6 G, 27 A) will finish with six goals, 27 assists, 38 penalty minutes, 161 SOG and a -27 rating in 79 games.
Chris Stewart, RW4/13/2014 3:15:00 PM
Description: Buffalo winger Chris Stewart (ankle) is not expected to play in the season finale Sunday against the Islanders. Neither are Brian Flynn (lower body), Matt D'Agostini (lower body) and Christian Ehrhoff (concussion). SOURCE: nhl.com
Insight: Stewart (15 G, 11 A, 116 PIM, 109 SOG) missed a month due to a high ankle sprain and played just two games before leaving 20 seconds into Saturday's contest.
Drew Stafford, RW4/10/2014 9:43:00 PM
Description: Buffalo right wing Drew Stafford has scored 12 goals over his last 26 games.
Insight: He had just four over his first 42. He scored his 16th goal of the season Thursday against the Rangers.
Tyler Myers, D4/10/2014 4:57:00 PM
Description: Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers (upper body) won't play Thursday against the Rangers.
Insight: Myers hasn't played since March 25. He'll probably miss the rest of the season.
Zemgus Girgensons, C4/8/2014 10:00:00 PM
Description: Zemgus Girgensons scored both Sabres goals Tuesday in a loss to Detroit.
Insight: It's his first multi-goal game of the season. Buffalo has lost 15 of its last 17 games and holds the worst record in all of hockey (21-49-9).
Marcus Foligno, LW4/8/2014 4:47:00 PM
Description: Sabres left wing Marcus Foligno (lower body) will return to action Tuesday against the Red Wings, according to nhl.com.

Drew Stafford, RW4/8/2014 4:45:00 PM

Description: Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers (upper body) still isn't ready to return, according to nhl.com.
Insight: Myers hasn't played since March 25 and will sit out Tuesday against the Red Wings.
Christian Ehrhoff, D4/8/2014 4:43:00 PM
Description: Buffalo defenseman Christian Ehrhoff (lacerated ear) is expected to play Tuesday, according to nhl.com.
Insight: Ehrhoff (6 G, 27 A) took a puck to his right ear Sunday against the Flyers and needed roughly 40 stitches to close the wound.
Chris Stewart, RW4/8/2014 4:40:00 PM
Description: Buffalo winger Chris Stewart (ankle) will return to the lineup Tuesday, according to nhl.com.
Insight: Stewart (15 G, 11 A, 116 PIM, 109 SOG) was given a timetable for 4-5 weeks back on March 11 due to a high ankle sprain. He's returning a little earlier than that.
Tyler Myers, D4/3/2014 2:35:00 PM
Description: Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers (upper body) is expected to miss Thursday's game and there is no timetable for his return.
Insight: TheBuffalo defenseman has nine goals and is a solid scorer with 22 points, but a -26 rating puts a damper on his usefulness to fantasy owners. He's likely to sit the remainder of the regular season.
Zenon Konopka, C4/3/2014 2:33:00 PM
Description: Buffalo center Zenon Konopka is questionable for Thursday's game against Nashville due to back spasms. He's missed the past four games.
Insight: Konopka provides just one asset for fantasy owners - penalty minutes. He's scored just once in 58 games (three points), but has amassed 83 penalty minutes.
Tyler Ennis, LW4/1/2014 10:07:00 PM
Description: Buffalo left wing Tyler Ennis had a pair of goals Tuesday against the Devils.

Tyler Myers, D3/27/2014 6:34:00 PM
Description: Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers (upper body) will miss Thursday's game.
Insight: Myers returned from an elbow injury Tuesday but suffered another injury. He leads all Buffalo defenseman in goals with nine and is a solid scorer with 22 points, but a -26 rating puts a damper on his usefulness to fantasy owners.
Tyler Myers, D3/27/2014 3:18:00 PM
Description: Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers (elbow) returned to the lineup Tuesday after missing the last five games, only to injure himself crashing into the goal post.
Insight: Call him questionable for Thursday's game against Nashville. Myers leads all Buffalo defenseman in goals with nine and is a solid scorer with 22 points, but a -26 rating puts a damper on his usefulness to fantasy owners.
Zenon Konopka, C3/27/2014 3:16:00 PM
Description: Buffalo center Zenon Konopka is questionable for Thursday's game against Nashville due to back spasms.
Insight: Konopka provides just one asset for fantasy owners - penalty minutes. He's scored just once in 58 games (three points), but has amassed 83 penalty minutes.
Tyler Myers, D3/25/2014 6:06:00 PM
Description: Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers (elbow) will return to the lineup Tuesday, according to Paul Hamilton of wgr550.com. He missed the last five games.
Insight: Myers leads all Buffalo defenseman in goals with nine and is a solid scorer with 22 points, but a -26 rating puts a damper on his usefulness to fantasy owners.

Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth (lower body) will miss Tuesday's game against the Flames, according to Paul Hamilton of wgr550.com.
Insight: Neuvirth and Jhonas Enroth are both out, so Nathan Lieuwen (2.34 GAA, .922 SV% in AHL) will get his first NHL start.
Jhonas Enroth, G3/16/2014 10:11:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth left Sunday's game with a lower-body injury, according to John Vogl of the Buffalo News.

Mike Weber, D3/15/2014 1:53:00 PM
Description: Buffalo defenseman Mike Weber is questionable for Saturday's game against the NY Islanders with a combination foot/ankle injury.
Insight: Weber doesn't really have much fantasy value (five points) so this won't change many lineups.

Description: Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers will miss Saturday's game against the NY Islanders due to an elbow injury.
Insight: Myers leads all Buffalo defenseman in goals with nine and is a solid scorer with 22 points, but a -26 rating puts a damper on his usefulness to fantasy owners even when healthy.

Insight: Stewart (15 G, 11 A, 116 PIM, 109 SOG) has produced just four points in his last 24 games, though he's spent 43 minutes in the penalty box during that stretch to give himself some fantasy value.

Description: In his first appearance with the Sabres, Michal Neuvirth made 42 saves on 44 shots in a 2-0 loss at Florida Friday night.
Insight: Neuvirth and Jhonas Enroth will probably split starts for Buffalo the rest of the season. Neither player is good enough to overcome the Sabres' pitiful defense, Friday's results aside.
Chris Stewart, RW3/7/2014 12:18:00 PM
Description: Sabres winger Chris Stewart is doubtful for Friday's game against Florida due to a knee injury.

Insight: Foligno's goal in the second period was his first since January 25th at Columbus. With just 16 points in his 56 games this season, Foligno doesn't belong on any fantasy squads.
Rostislav Klesla, D3/5/2014 4:41:00 PM
Description: The Capitals included D Rostislav Klesla in their trade with the Sabres for Jaroslav Halak, according to the Sabres on Twitter.
Insight: Klesla was acquired from Phoenix for Martin Erat Tuesday and never played for Washington. He has just one goal and four points in 25 games this season. There's nothing to get excited about here.
Cory Conacher, LW3/5/2014 12:32:00 PM
Description: The Sabres have claimed Cory Conacher off waivers from the Senators.
Insight: The Senators swapped goaltender Ben Bishop for Conacher (4 G, 16 A) at last season's trade deadline, and it's safe to say it didn't work out. Fantasy owners can avoid him for now.
Tyler Ennis, LW3/3/2014 2:04:00 PM
Description: Buffalo left wing Tyler Ennis (soreness) is probable for Monday's game against Dallas.
Insight: Ennis had picked up 14 points in his last 15 games but missed the last two due to "general body soreness." He has 14 goals and 30 points in 58 games this season and is a solid offensive weapon, but his -12 rating does hurts his fantasy value.
Cody Hodgson, C2/28/2014 9:39:00 PM
Description: Buffalo center Cody Hodgson scored a goal Friday against San Jose.
Insight: Hodgson has had a point in each of the last two games after posting just one in his previous six. He has 15 goals, 17 assists and 117 SOG in 50 games, almost identical to the pace he set last season.
Matt Moulson, LW2/28/2014 9:38:00 PM
Description: Buffalo winger Matt Moulson scored a goal Friday against the Sharks.
Insight: Moulson has picked up six points in his last five games. There's a strong possibility he'll be traded into a better fantasy situation before the trade deadline on March 5.
Tyler Myers, D2/28/2014 9:36:00 PM
Description: Buffalo defenseman Tyler Myers has collected four points in his last two games.
Insight: He had a goal and two assists Friday against the Sharks after scoring a goal Wednesday against Boston. Even with a +3 Friday, the defenseman still has a -23 rating this season to go with eight goals and 20 points in 55 games.
Jhonas Enroth, G2/28/2014 9:34:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth stopped 36 of 38 shots against the Sharks Friday night in a 4-2 win.
Insight: Enroth was inserted into the starting lineup at the last minute after Ryan Miller was traded to the Blues and put together an impressive performance against a team that scored seven goals one night ago. Buffalo got back Jaroslav Halak in the deal, preventing Enroth from taking over as the full-time starter.
Chris Stewart, RW2/28/2014 8:58:00 PM
Description: Winger Chris Stewart was included in the trade that sent Ryan Miller to the Blues and Jaroslav Halak to the Sabres.
Insight: Stewart (15 G, 11 A, 112 PIM, 107 SOG) is now a member of the Sabres, but he might not be there for long. A three-way deal between St. Louis, Buffalo and Ottawa was discussed earlier this week, according to Bob McKenzie of tsn.ca, and the Senators covet Stewart. He'll get more playing time on both Buffalo and Ottawa than the 13:42 per game he played with the Blues, so his fantasy value is on the rise.
Tyler Ennis, LW2/28/2014 8:12:00 PM
Description: Buffalo left wing Tyler Ennis (soreness) did not play Friday, as expected.
Insight: Ennis has picked up 14 points in his last 15 games but missed the last two due to "general body soreness." He has 14 goals and 30 points in 58 games this season and is a solid offensive weapon, but his -12 rating hurts his fantasy value.
Jaroslav Halak, G2/28/2014 7:40:00 PM
Description: Goaltender Jaroslav Halak was traded from the St. Louis Blues to the Buffalo Sabres Friday night along with Chris Stewart, William Carrier, a 2015 first-round pick and a 2016 third-rounder for Ryan Miller and Steve Ott.
Insight: Halak goes from one of the best defensive teams in the NHL to one of the worst, and he also may have to split playing time with 25-year-old Jhonas Enroth as the Sabres play for the future.
Ryan Miller, G2/28/2014 6:52:00 PM
Description: The Sabres made goalie Ryan Miller a late scratch Friday night as they discuss potential trades, according to Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Steve Ott was also held out Friday.
Insight: Rutherford reports that a deal is imminent and it is believed that the Blues are the likely destination for Miller. St. Louis is one of the top defensive teams in the NHL and would be a great place for Miller to land.
Tyler Ennis, LW2/28/2014 1:54:00 PM
Description: Buffalo left wing Tyler Ennis missed Wednesday's game with general body soreness and didn't practice Thursday, so it's not looking very likely he'll play on Friday.
Insight: Ennis has picked up 14 points in his last 15 games. He has 14 goals and 30 points in 58 games this season and is a solid offensive weapon, but his -12 rating hurts his fantasy value.
Matt Moulson, LW2/26/2014 10:52:00 PM
Description: Buffalo winger Matt Moulson extended his points streak to four games with a goal Wednesday against Boston.
Insight: The first two of those games came back at the end of January, as Moulson missed Buffalo's last four games before the Olympic break with an upper-body injury. There's a strong possibility he'll be traded into a better fantasy situation.
Tyler Ennis, LW2/26/2014 4:52:00 PM
Description: Buffalo left wing Tyler Ennis will miss Wednesday's game with general body soreness, according to nhl.com.
Insight: Ennis scored a goal Tuesday against the Hurricanes and has picked up 14 points in his last 15 games. He has 14 goals and 30 points in 58 games this season.
Ryan Miller, G2/26/2014 10:22:00 AM
Description: It doesn't sound like Ryan Miller is going to be a Buffalo Sabre for much longer. SOURCE: Buffalo News
Insight: The team is actively shopping its star netminder. Buffalo GM Tim Murray has acknowledged that he'd like to trade Miller to a place where he can win a championship. Miller picked up two assists in Tuesday's win over Carolina while also providing 36 saves.
Christian Ehrhoff, DHot2/25/2014 9:54:00 PM
Description: Buffalo defenseman Christian Ehrhoff scored two goals Tuesday against the Hurricanes, including the game-winner.
Insight: Ehrhoff only had seven points in 27 games the first two months, but he has come up with 20 points in 29 games since the beginning of December.
Matt Moulson, LW2/25/2014 10:46:00 AM
Description: Buffalo winger Matt Moulson (upper body) should be ready to return to the ice for Tuesday's game with Carolina.
Insight: Moulson's value took a big hit by the move from Long Island to Buffalo, as he has produced just nine goals and 24 points in 40 games with the Sabres, but most experts think he'll be playing elsewhere by the trade deadline (March 5).
Tyler Myers, D2/25/2014 10:37:00 AM
Description: Buffalo defenseman Tyler Myers (leg) has been practicing since Friday and should be ready to return to the ice for Tuesday's game with Carolina, according to a Buffalo News report.
Insight: The 24-year-old has six goals and 10 assists in 52 contests this season. However, an ugly -26 rating should be enough to keep fantasy owners far away.
Tyler Myers, D2/6/2014 3:24:00 PM
Description: Buffalo defenseman Tyler Myers (lower body) did not play Wednesday and is questionable for Thursday's game against Ottawa.
Insight: The 24-year-old has six goals and 10 assists in 52 contests this season. However, an ugly -26 rating should be enough to keep fantasy owners far away.
Matt Moulson, LW2/5/2014 1:17:00 PM
Description: Chris Botta of the New York Times and SNY considers Buffalo winger Matt Moulson a "lock" to be traded before the deadline.
Insight: Botta reports that more than a dozen teams have contacted the Sabres about Moulson, whom they acquired along with a first- and second-round pick from the Islanders for Thomas Vanek. As we predicted when the trade went down, Moulson's value has been crushed by the move from Long Island to Buffalo, as he has produced just nine goals and 24 points in 40 games with the Sabres. Moulson is out until after the Olympic break due to an arm injury, so any trade will likely come after it.
Tyler Myers, D2/5/2014 12:12:00 PM
Description: Buffalo defenseman Tyler Myers (lower body) will not play Wednesday, according to the Sabres' Twitter account.
Insight: The 24-year-old has six goals and 10 assists in 52 contests this season. However, an ugly -26 rating should be enough to keep fantasy owners far away.

Description: Buffalo defenseman Tyler Myers is questionable for Wednesday's game against Pittsburgh due to a lower-body injury.
Insight: The 24-year-old has six goals and 10 assists in 52 contests this season. However, an ugly -26 rating should be enough to keep fantasy owners far away.
Drew Stafford, RW2/3/2014 9:55:00 AM
Description: Buffalo right wing Drew Stafford is expected to return to the lineup on Monday night after missing games due to an upper body injury.
Insight: Stafford was once a 50-point a season guy, but has fallen off the fantasy radar screen with 18 points in 2012 and 18 points with a -10 rating in 46 games this season.
Christian Ehrhoff, D2/1/2014 10:16:00 AM
Description: Buffalo defenseman Christian Ehrhoff is still questionable for Saturday's game due to an illness.
Insight: Ehrhoff will be a game-time decision. The 31-year-old has 23 points (four goals), 20 PIM and 111 SOG in 51 games which isn't horrible considering the Sabres are the lowest scoring team in the league.
Matt Moulson, LW1/31/2014 3:08:00 PM
Description: Buffalo beat writer John Vogl is reporting Buffalo winger Matt Moulson has an injury to his arm and isn't expect to play until after the Olympic break - four games.
Insight: Moulson has 15 goals and 18 assists, with 24 points coming in 40 games with the Sabres. With the Sabres out of any playoff contention, there is no reason to rush him back.
Christian Ehrhoff, D1/30/2014 7:00:00 PM
Description: Buffalo defenseman Christian Ehrhoff is questionable for Thursday's game due to an illness, according to the Buffalo News.
Insight: Ehrhoff will be a game-time decision after missing the morning skate. The 31-year-old has 23 points (four goals), 20 PIM and 111 SOG in 51 games.

Insight: Myers has declined since he won the Calder Trophy with 48 points in 2009-10. He had 37 points in 2010-11, 23 points in 55 gmaes in 2011-12, eight points last season and 12 points (four goals) in 42 games this season. When you factor in his -15, he's a poor fantasy option.
Ville Leino, LW1/2/2014 11:55:00 AM
Description: Buffalo left wing Ville Leino will miss Thursday's game against Minnesota due to a lower body injury.
Insight: Leino doesn't hold much fantasy value with six points in 26 games and a -6 rating.
