Week 15 Player Fantasy Rankings - Tight Ends

By Jesse Pantuosco, Fantasy Sports Writer

Philadelphia, PA ( - How does $400 million sound?

That's how much Friday's Mega Millions winner will get, assuming there is one.

Think about all that coin. At that price, you could probably get Matthew Berry on retainer for around-the-clock fantasy advice.

And all you need is a ticket. Speaking of lottery tickets, what about Jacob Tamme?

It's worth a try.

Tamme only has 13 catches this season and he isn't even Denver's starter at tight end. That role belongs to Julius Thomas. But what Tamme has working in his favor is a short week. So short, in fact, that concussed All-Pro wide receiver Wes Welker won't be able to suit up on Thursday night.

That means Tamme is going to line up in the slot where he should get plenty of targets from America's favorite Papa John's spokesman Peyton Manning. Remember, these two played in Indy together so chemistry won't be an issue. Tamme caught four out of five targets for 47 yards last week and that was just in one half of football.

Denver's fantasy situation is an embarrassment of riches and Thursday Tamme should be the main beneficiary. We have him at No. 23 in this week's tight end rankings, which is probably a bit conservative considering San Diego has given up the fifth-most passing yards in the NFL this season. Tamme is only owned in about one percent of leagues, but you've got to hurry, especially with Denver kicking off on Thursday this week instead of Sunday.
