Week 15 Player Fantasy Rankings - Kickers
By Thomas J. Harrigan, Fantasy Sports Writer
Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - One week after booting an NFL-record 64-yard field goal, will Denver Broncos kicker Matt Prater go for 65?
He's back in the thin air of Denver for a second straight week, so it's not impossible.
Of the five 50-plus-yard field goals Prater made this season, four came at Sports Authority Field. The 29-year-old also has averaged 5.4 extra points per game at home, compared to 4.5 on the road.
Prater is our No. 1 kicker for Week 15.
At No. 2 is New England's Stephen Gostkowski, who has made at least two field goals in every game this season and leads all kickers in fantasy points.
San Francisco's Phil Dawson is another strong option in Week 15. Dawson has scored at least 10 fantasy points in each of the last five games and made 14- of-14 attempts in that span.
San Diego's Nick Novak, who also will get to kick in Denver this Sunday, and Minnesota's Blair Walsh complete the top five.
Fantasy owners shouldn't overlook Arizona's Jay Feely even though he missed two kicks in Week 14 and didn't even have an attempt the week before. Tennessee, the Cardinals' Week 15 opponent, has allowed a whopping 15.4 fantasy points per game to kickers the last five games.
