He didn't do much else, four rebounds and three assists, but fantasy owners will obviously take the scoring. Unfortunately for Miami, they lost 105-87, against Utah. Description: Rockets guard James Harden did everything Thursday night in an overtime win over Sacramento.
Insight: Harden scored 44 points with four rebounds, eight assists, three steals and a block. OK, it did take him 32 shots, but he was obviously the best player on the floor.

Description: Kings guard Darren Collison led his team with 24 points and seven assists in Thursday's loss to the Rockets.

Description: Rockets point guard Isaiah Canaan missed Wednesday's game due to a sprained right ankle and is questionable for Thursday's game against Sacramento.

Description: Spurs point guard Tony Parker (hamstring) will not play Wednesday against the Knicks.
Insight: Kwahi Leonard and Manu Ginobili are also out, and Tim Duncan is a game-time decision. With Carmelo Anthony sidelined as well, this will not be the most entertaining game to watch.

Description: Pistons guard Jodie Meeks fully practiced on Wednesday and is expected to return to game-action on Friday according to Pistons.com.

Description: Rockets shooting guard James Harden will play on Wednesday against the Warriors.

Description: Timberwolves guard Mo Williams is doubtful not just for Wednesday's game but the entire week.

Description: Spurs point guard Tony Parker is uncertain whether he will play on Wednesday, and coach Gregg Popovich said it will depend on how he feels in warmups according to the San Antonio Express-News.

Description: 76ers guard Tony Wroten is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.
Insight: Philadelphia originally called Wroten likely to return on Wednesday, but now it seems unlikely. Check back for confirmation, and if he can't go, Robert Covington will take most of Wroten's minutes.
Jeremy Lin, G, LAL12/10/2014 9:55:00 AM
Description: Lakers guard Jeremy Lin is continuing to struggle coming off the bench.
Insight: Lin scored just three points and added four assists, one rebound and one steal in 22 minutes on Tuesday. That's not good enough for a player called a fantasy sleeper in the preseason. Lin said on Sunday he felt a "sharp pain" in his leg, so perhaps that is affecting his play.
Darren Collison, G, SAC12/10/2014 9:21:00 AM
Description: Kings guard Darren Collison led his team with 26 points and six assists in Tuesday's loss to the Lakers.
Insight: Collison made 11-of-18 shots, including 2-of-3 from the 3-point line. Unfortunately, he curiously made just 25 percent from the free-throw line. Collison is not a great free-throw shooter, but he still shoots 76.5 percent from the line, over 50 percent higher than he shot Tuesday.
Kobe Bryant, G, LAL12/10/2014 9:19:00 AM
Description: Lakers guard Kobe Bryant shot a percentage higher than his season average on Tuesday.
Insight: That's not saying much because Bryant is shooting 39 percent from the floor this season, and on Tuesday he shot 40.7 percent. Still, owners will take the 32 points. Bryant is leading the league with 25.5 ppg.
Gordon Hayward, G/F, UTA12/10/2014 9:17:00 AM

Description: Pelicans small forward Tyreke Evans scored a team-high 27 points in the victory over the Knicks on Tuesday.
Insight: Evans shot 11-of-15, sinking one 3-pointer and all four free throws. He also had six assists and four rebounds. Evans is averaging 15.2 ppg, 5.8 apg and 5.7 rpg this season as he continues to be a solid fantasy play.

Description: Portland shooting guard Wesley Matthews hit three 3-pointers and scored 19 points during Tuesday's win against the Pistons.
Insight: He was 8-of-12 from the field and also had five rebounds, five assists, one steal, and one turnover. Matthews is a borderline top-50 option.
Kyle Lowry, G, TOR12/9/2014 9:31:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry didn't shoot well in Tuesday's loss to the Cavaliers, but still produced for fantasy owners.
Insight: He was 6-of-18 from the field and 2-of-2 from the line for 16 points, 14 assists, four rebounds, two 3-pointers, and one steal. Lowry is a great option at point guard.

Eric Bledsoe, G, PHOHot12/9/2014 11:43:00 AM
Description: Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe's monster game might have been missed by some fantasy owners who saw Blake Griffin throw up 45 points in the same game, but Bledsoe posted a big triple-double with 27 points, 11 rebounds and 16 assists.
Insight: Bledsoe is once again a box score filler averaging 16.3 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 6.2 apg and 1.4 spg. He's stepped in up in December averaging 24 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 8.3 apg.
Marcus Smart, G, BOS12/9/2014 11:19:00 AM
Description: Celtics rookie Marcus Smart posted a career-best 23 points with four rebounds and five assists against Washington Monday night.
Insight: OK, when you have only played eight games that's not a high bar to exceed and it was a double-overtime game. Still, he played more minutes than Rajon Rondo, Marcus Thornton or Avery Bradley.
Kyle Lowry, G, TOR12/8/2014 10:33:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry shot just 3-for-13 but did dish 13 assists against the Nuggets on Monday as Toronto won in overtime.

Description: Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson started a new double-double streak on Monday.

Andrew Wiggins, G, MIN12/8/2014 10:15:00 PM
Description: Timberwolves guard Andrew Wiggins led the team with 21 points on Tuesday.

Description: Warriors point guard Stephen Curry tied Klay Thompson with 21 points scored to lead Golden State past Minnesota, 102-86.

Description: Spurs point guard Tony Parker will not play on Tuesday because of his hamstring injury.
Insight: It is never good to be ruled out 24 hours in advance. That could mean Parker will miss more games than just Tuesday's. Cory Joseph has been good in his two starts and is worth a look in fantasy.
Joe Johnson, G/F, BRK12/8/2014 4:55:00 PM
Description: Nets guard Joe Johnson has been downgraded to out for Monday's game against Cleveland due to flu-like symptoms.
Insight: Johnson (15.7 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 3.8 apg) missed Sunday's practice session. Bojan Bogdanovic and Alan Anderson will get more floor time if Johnson sits this one out, but have limited upside. Bogdanovic isn't a great scorer, but can rebound. Anderson can get hot an put up points, but isn't much help elsewhere in the box score.
Tony Wroten, G, PHI12/8/2014 3:55:00 PM
Description: 76ers guard Tony Wroten is expected to return to action Wednesday.
Insight: Wroten (17.9 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 6.3 apg) will likely come off the bench at both PG and SG and should still see his full compliment of minutes, but may not score as much with Michael Carter-Williams and Robert Covington scoring at a high level.

Description: Timberwolves rookie Shabazz Muhammad is questionable for Monday's game against Golden State due to a sore ankle.
Insight: He expected to get an MRI today after dealing with the pain for about a week. He's posted back-to-back 20-point games so this comes at a horrible time.

Description: Lakers guard Jeremy Lin is questionable for Tuesday's game against Sacramento due to a sore leg.
Insight: Ronnie Lin got his first start of the season at point guard Sunday. Lin is averaging 11.5 ppg, 4.9 apg, and 1.0 spg, and his poor play got him demoted. It's likely just temporary, but this injury won't help.

Description: Denver guard Nate Robinson (back) is doubtful for Monday's game against Toronto.
Insight: Robinson left Friday's contest and missed Sunday's game. He has no fantasy value even when healthy this year and the only reason he would be on a fantasy roster is as insurance for Ty Lawson.

Description: Cavaliers wingman Mike Miller is expected to miss Monday's game against Brooklyn due to a concussion.
Insight: Miller doesn't see enough game action to be relevant in fantasy realms and his absence won't add many minutes to change the value of anyone else. Shawn Marion and Dion Waiters will eat up the few minutes Miller plays.
Joe Johnson, G/F, BRK12/8/2014 12:59:00 PM
Description: Nets guard Joe Johnson is questionable for Monday's game against Cleveland due to flu-like symptoms.
Insight: Johnson (15.7 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 3.8 apg) missed Sunday's practice session. Bojan Bogdanovic and Alan Anderson would get more floor time if Johnson sits this one out, but have limited upside. Bogdanovic isn't a great scorer, but can rebound. Anderson can get hot an put up points, but isn't much help elsewhere in the box score.

Description: Celtics guard Rajon Rondo had a triple-double on Saturday.

Raymond Felton, G, DAL12/7/2014 11:11:00 AM
Description: Mavericks backup point guard Raymond Felton says his ankle is 100 percent.
Insight: His ankle may be healthy, but how about his jump shot? He shot just 39 percent last season. Felton lost the starting job to Jameer Nelson and Devin Harris has played well too, so we aren't sure Felton plays enough to be fantasy worthy.
Norris Cole, G, MIACold12/7/2014 11:06:00 AM
Description: Heat guard Norris Cole has missed a couple of games due to illness, but practiced Saturday and is probable for Sunday's game against Memphis.

Insight: He went 6-of-11 from the field, 6-of-6 from the line, and 2-of-4 from deep. Crawford also chipped in four assists and two steals. He is averaging 17.1 ppg, 3.2 apg, 1.2 spg, and is currently a top-35 fantasy option.

Description: Clippers shooting guard J.J. Redick continued his hot play on Saturday night.
Insight: He scored 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting, and has now scored at least 20 points during his past three games. Redick is averaging 13.9 ppg and shooting 44 percent from the field.

Victor Oladipo, G, ORL12/7/2014 10:35:00 AM
Description: Magic guard Victor Oladipo was very productive in Saturday's win versus Sacramento.
Insight: He had 16 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and three turnovers. Oladipo is still getting his legs going, and should be considered a good buy-low candidate.
Marco Belinelli, G, SAN12/7/2014 10:23:00 AM
Description: Spurs G/F Marco Belinelli scored a team-high 20 points during Saturday's win versus Minnesota.
Insight: He did so off the bench, going 7-of-12 from the floor, 2-of-2 from the line, and 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. Belinelli also had six assists, two rebounds, and one turnover. With the Spurs' rotation as unpredictable as it gets, Belinelli should remain on the waiver wire.
Cory Joseph, G, SAN12/7/2014 10:18:00 AM
Description: Spurs guard Corey Joseph played well in a spot start on Saturday night.
Insight: With Tony Parker sidelined, Joseph went 7-of-10 from the field and 4-of-4 from the line for 18 points, five assists, four rebounds, one steal, and zero turnovers. Whenever Parker sits, Joseph should be in all lineups, and will continue to make for solid daily plays during those times.

Description: Sixers point guard Michael Carter-Williams continued to fill the stat sheet in Saturday's win against Detroit.
Insight: No that is not a mistake. The 76ers have now won two of the past three games, and MCW has been a major reason why. He had 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field and 4-of-5 shooting from the line, along with 15 assists, eight rebounds, three steals, two blocks, but also seven turnovers. Owners would like to see his turnovers go down, but after a line like that, nobody can complain.

Insight: Marshall was on fire, hitting on 7-of-8 shots, including going 4-for-5 behind the arc. It is always worth keeping an eye on players like this to add but considering Marshall is averaging 4.6 ppg and shooting 48.6 percent on the season as opposed to the 87.5 percent he shot Friday, a repeat performance is unlikely.
Monta Ellis, G, DAL12/6/2014 8:39:00 AM
Description: Mavericks guard Monta Ellis put up another big total in scoring with 14 field goals in the loss versus the Suns Friday.
Insight: Ellis scored 33 points. Two of his 14 field goals were 3-pointers, and he shot 3-for-5 at the charity stripe. Ellis didn't do much else besides score with just two assists, two rebounds and one block.

Description: Spurs guard Manu Ginobili led the Spurs with 17 points as all five of his made field goals were 3-pointers.

Michael Carter-Williams, G, PHI12/5/2014 9:43:00 PM
Description: Sixers point guard Michael Carter-Williams continues to rack up statistics while shooting bad percentages.
Insight: Carter-Williams shot 6-of-19 and went 3-for-5 from the free-throw line on Friday against the Thunder. He did, however, nearly record another triple-double with 16 points, 14 assists and seven rebounds. Carter-Williams also had three steals.

Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan will not need surgery to repair his torn thigh muscle according to the Toronto Sun.
Insight: This is fantasy news for fantasy owners as DeRozan is week-to-week. Despite the week-to-week status, he probably won't return until January. Harden chipped in four rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block.
