For The Last 15 Days

Kevin Durant, F, OKC1/28/2015 12:40:00 PM
Description: Thunder small forward Kevin Durant (toe) will not play Wednesday against the Knicks.
Insight: This will be the second consecutive game Durant is sidelined for. While he is still considered day-today, owners cannot be happy that he is out yet again.
David Lee, PF, GSW1/28/2015 9:27:00 AM
Description: Warriors forward David Lee had his best game of the season on Tuesday night.
Insight: He came off the bench and went 10-of-17 from the field and 4-of-4 from the line for 24 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and zero turnovers. However, Lee is still much of an option at this point in time.
Chandler Parsons, F, DAL1/27/2015 10:52:00 PM
Description: Mavericks small forward Chandler Parsons hit three 3-pointers and was 7-of-11 from the field as he led Dallas with 19 points on Tuesday.
Insight: Monta Ellis also had 19 points, but it wasn't nearly enough as Dallas lost to Memphis, 109-90. Parsons had three assists and two rebounds in addition to his 19 points. Parsons is averaging over 15 ppg.
Zach Randolph, F, MEM1/27/2015 10:50:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph recorded his 10th straight double-double on Tuesday.
Insight: Randolph had 22 points, going 10-of-15 from the field, and 10 rebounds. He also had two assists. Randolph is about the surest thing there is in daily fantasy basketball. Since returning from his injury, Randolph has been averaging 19.3 ppg and 13.4 rpg, but in season-long leagues, we still advise to sell high on Randolph.
Greg Monroe, PF, DET1/27/2015 10:02:00 PM
Description: Pistons forward Greg Monroe had 17 points and 12 rebounds versus the Cavaliers on Tuesday.
Insight: That is Monroe's 12th double-double this month and 21st this season. Monroe is averaging 15.1 ppg and 10.2 rpg this season.
LeBron James, F, CLEHot1/27/2015 9:54:00 PM

Jimmy Butler, G/F, CHI1/27/2015 9:12:00 PM
Description: Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler (illness) will not play on Tuesday night.
Insight: Look for Kirk Hinrich to get the start, and simply consider Butler day-to-day.

Description: Bucks power forward Ersan Ilyasova left Tuesday's game with a sore right groin and will not return according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Description: Heat forward Luol Deng will miss Tuesday's game a sore left calf.

Description: Lakers guard/forward Nick Young sprained his right ankle in practice Monday and has been downgraded to out for Tuesday against Washington.
Insight: After posting 17 points Friday night, Young looked like he didn't want to be out there on Sunday going 0-for 2 with three turnovers in eight minutes. Wayne Ellington and Wes Johnson will see an increase in fantasy value.
Mike Dunleavy, G/F, CHI1/27/2015 2:45:00 PM

Insight: Dunleavy hasn't played since the end of December. Tony Snell got the start Friday night and Sunday but has yet to show us much.
Chris Andersen, F/C, MIA1/27/2015 1:38:00 PM
Description: Heat center Chris Andersen is questionable for Tuesday's game against Milwaukee while dealing with a sore calf.
Insight: He's averaging just 5.1 ppg, 5.1 rpg so has little fantasy value, particular with how well Hassan Whiteside has been playing in the post.
Luol Deng, F, MIA1/27/2015 1:36:00 PM
Description: Heat forward Luol Deng is doubtful for Tuesday's game against Milwaukee due to a sore left calf.
Insight: Deng missed the morning shootaround and will be a game-time decision at best. Too bad as he's played well in his last two games, including a 15-point, 10 rebound game versus Chicago on Sunday. Danny Granger would see more time if Deng is a no-go.
Matt Barnes, SF, LAC1/27/2015 10:12:00 AM
Description: Clippers forward Matt Barnes suffered an abdominal strain in the fourth quarter of Monday's game against Denver.
Insight: Call him questionable for Wednesday until we hear more news. Barnes' fantasy value is limited (9.8 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 1.3 apg), but his absence would likely end up in the Clippers playing more three guard offense with Jamal Crawford seeing an increase in playing time and shot opportunities.
Evan Turner, G/F, BOS1/27/2015 9:00:00 AM
Description: Celtics guard Evan Turner left the Monday night game for a time after re-injuring his thumb.
Insight: He played just 21 minutes, scoring nine points with three rebounds and four assists. X-rays were negative, but his Wednesday status is to be determined. He's been a solid fantasy option since become the Celtics starting point guard.

Description: Jazz small forward Gordon Hayward hit 4-of-5 three-pointers on the way to a 26-point night against Boston.

Blake Griffin, F, LAC1/27/2015 8:36:00 AM
Description: Clipper power forward Blake Griffin salvaged a bad shooting night after starting 1-of-8, to score 14 points with nine rebounds and 10 assists.
Insight: Griffin was 6-of-17 from the field. It's the third time this season he posted double-digit assists as he came very close to his first triple-double of the season. He's still a fantasy stud, though owners would like to see more rebounding. His 7.6 rebounds per game is the lowest of his career.
Serge Ibaka, F, OKC1/26/2015 11:20:00 PM
Description: Oklahoma City power forward Serge Ibaka pulled down an impressive 19 rebounds during Monday's victory over the Timberwolves.

Zach Randolph, F, MEM1/26/2015 11:13:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph recorded a double-double with six assists on Monday night.

Kevin Durant, F, OKC1/26/2015 7:39:00 PM
Description: Thunder small forward Kevin Durant (toe) will miss Monday's game against Minnesota.
Insight: He is dealing with a left great toe sprain that he sustained Sunday versus Cleveland. Durant tried to give it a go, as he went through warmups, but ultimately decided he was too sore. Consider him day-to-day. Dion Waiters, Anthony Morrow, and Perry Jones will all see a bump in value, with Jones the likely candidate to start.
Nick Young, G/F, LALCold1/26/2015 3:48:00 PM
Description: Lakers guard/forward Nick Young sprained his right ankle in practice Monday and should be considered questionable for Tuesday against Washington.
Insight: After posting 17 points Friday night, Young looked like he didn't want to be out there on Sunday going 0-for 2 with three turnovers in eight minutes. If he can't run, Wayne Ellington and Wes Johnson would see an increase in fantasy value.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F, TOR1/26/2015 1:48:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan (25 points in the, 114-110, victory over the Pistons on Sunday) commented to Eric Koreen of the National Post, it's the first time he's felt "comfortable" since returning from his groin injury.

Amare Stoudemire, F, NYK1/26/2015 5:50:00 AM
Description: Knicks forward Amare Stoudemire is doubtful for Monday's game against Sacramento due to a sprained left ankle and injured wrist.
Insight: Add that to his already suspect knees. Stoudemire is averaging 12.7 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.1 bpg, but can't be counted in daily leagues because of all the health issues.
Robbie Hummel, F, MIN1/26/2015 5:44:00 AM
Description: Minnesota SG/SF Robbie Hummel suffered a broken hand during Sunday's game against Atlanta and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
Insight: Hummel (4.1 ppg, 2.7 rpg) was seeing a decent amount of playing time, but the expected return of Kevin Martin and Shabazz Muhammad was about to put him on the bench anyway.
Nick Young, G/F, LALCold1/26/2015 5:23:00 AM
Description: Lakers guard/forward Nick Young disappeared Sunday night and played just eight ugly minutes.
Insight: After posting 17 points Friday night, Young looked like he didn't want to be out there going 0-for 2 with three turnovers. To his credit, Byron Scott quickly looked to other guys to perform. Young is a boom or bust fantasy option.
Trevor Ariza, SF, HOU1/26/2015 5:20:00 AM
Description: Rockets small forward Trevor Ariza had a horrible shooting night (3-of-14), but tried to help fantasy oenrs and the Rockets in other ways.

Insight: West was 8-of-15 from the field with four rebounds, three assists and two steals. West only averages about 12.6 ppg and 7.0 rpg but those are big numbers for the offensively starved Pacers.

Insight: Nowitzki was 8-of-19 from the field and just 2-for-8 from the 3-point line. He also had six rebounds, an assist and a steal. He is a borderline top-30 option.

Anthony Davis, PF, NOP1/25/2015 8:48:00 PM
Description: Pelicans forward Anthony Davis had 28 points and 10 rebounds on Sunday.
Insight: With Davis banged up for part of this month, on the surface it appears Davis has tailed off a bit since his MVP start, but that's not the case statistically. Davis is averaging 23.9 ppg and 9.9 rpg this month which is slightly better than his December numbers. Hopefully Davis can stay on the court in February.
Blake Griffin, F, LACHot1/25/2015 8:42:00 PM
Description: Clipper power forward Blake Griffin had 23 points, seven assists, and seven rebounds in the victory over the Suns.

Insight: Durant had 32 points and nine assists with six rebounds. He shot 12-of-23 from the field, but unfortunately, just 1-for-5 from the 3-point line. Obviously, Durant is a top fantasy option.

He also hauled down nine rebounds and didn't seem to injury the thumb any further by playing. It appears it will be all about pain management and as long as he's out there he's a must-start.

Insight: Randolph had 17 points and 14 rebounds in the, 101-83, victory. He was 8-of-11 from the field with four assists.Randolph is playing out of his mind right now with 18.4 ppg and 13.8 rpg in the last five games, which keeps him as a top sell-high candidate at the moment.

Description: Rookie Jerami Grant came off the bench and led the 76ers in scoring on Saturday.
Insight: It was a bad offensive game for Philadelphia, so Grant had just 16 points. Still, the 76ers have been waiting for the rookie from Syracuse to break out. He was 5-of-10 with two 3-pointers from the field. Unfortunately, he did nothing else and shot just 50 percent from the line.

Description: Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony will not play on Saturday versus the Hornets.
Insight: Anthony played 42 minutes on Friday, so the team wants him to rest. Anthony took 24 shots in each of the last two games, so there are quite a bit of chances available for other players on Saturday.

Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge (thumb) will play Saturday versus Washington.
Insight: This is an absolute shock, as he was expected to miss 6-8 weeks. However, Aldridge is delaying surgery on his left thumb, and will give it a go. Get him in into your lineups immediately.

Description: Jazz power forward Derrick Favors will not play on Thursday versus the Bucks due to personal reasons according to the Salt Lake Tribune.

Description: Pelicans forward Anthony Davis will start on Wednesday against the Lakers according to Jen Hale of FOX Sports.
Insight: Davis has missed a couple games with a toe injury, but it is not considered serious. The Pelicans have just been very cautious with him and could remain so the rest of the season. When he is in the lineup, though, Davis must be in the fantasy lineup.

Insight: James missed Tuesday's practice but participated in the team's shootaround on Wednesday according to the Akron Beach Journal. James has averaged 31.8 ppg since returning from his knee and back issues, so he is a must-start. As if owners needed another reason to start King James.

Description: Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony said his knee was feeling good and that he will play versus the 76ers on Wednesday according to ESPN New York.
Insight: Anthony did admit he probably won't be able to handle back-to-back games, but that won't happen for the Knicks until Jan. 28-29. Fantasy owners probably don't have to worry until then, and Anthony should be in every fantasy lineup.

Description: Thunder small forward Kevin Durant had a solid line, but did shoot poorly from the field on Tuesday night.
Insight: He went 9-of-24 from the field, 1-of-1 from the line, and 0-of-8 from deep for 19 points. Durant also had eight boards, eight assists, four steals, and one block.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F, POR1/20/2015 4:05:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge left Monday night's game with a left thumb injury and has already been ruled out for Wednesday.
Insight: X-rays were negative, but he will not go with the team to Phoenix, instead he'll see a hand specialist. This is a huge blow for fantasy owners who cann't replace his 23.2 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 1.9 apg, 1.2 bpg. Thomas Tobinson would see more time, but he hasn't shown much fantasy value to date.
Anthony Davis, PF, NOP1/20/2015 3:04:00 PM
Description: Pelicans forward Anthony Davis has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game against the LA Lakers.
Insight: Davis is a franchise player (24.2 ppg, 10.4 rpg, 1.6 apg, 1.5 spg, 2.9 bpg) so New Orleans has been taking all precautions to protect their top asset, but it appears he's finally ready to go after missing the past three games.
LeBron James, F, CLE1/20/2015 2:46:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers forward LeBron James didn't practice Tuesday due to flu-like symptoms and should be considered questionable for Wednesday versus Utah.
Insight: James is averaging 31.8 ppg since returning from injury four games ago and the Cavs have won their last three contests so it would be a shame if he can't run tomorrow.
Jordan Hill, PF, LAL1/20/2015 12:03:00 PM
Description: Lakers PF/C Jordan Hill could be in for a lot of playing time with Tarik Black expected to miss at least the next game due to a sprained ankle.

Description: Lakers backup center Tarik Black (5.0 ppg, 5.1 rpg) suffered a sprained right ankle and is not expected to be available for Wednesday's game against New Orleans.
Insight: Black doesn't hold any fantasy value, but his 16 minutes per night could help Jordan Hill. Hill could see 35 minutes plus and that would make him a viable fantasy option as he already averages 12.4 ppg, 7.9 rpg.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F, POR1/20/2015 9:14:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge left Monday night's game with a left thumb injury.

Description: After leading Toronto in scoring in each of his three games since his return from the groin injury, Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan shot 0-for-9 and missed his only free-throw attempt to finish with zero points versus the Bucks.
Insight: His only fantasy contribution was four assists and three rebounds. Despite the horrible game from DeRozan, Toronto still won, which might make fantasy owners wonder if DeRozan will continue to lead the team in shots. In his four games since his return, the two games DeRozan led the team in shot attempts, Toronto lost. In the two Kyle Lowry led the team in shots attempts, Toronto won.
Jimmy Butler, G/F, CHI1/19/2015 9:59:00 PM

Description: Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph recorded a double-double in the loss to Dallas on Monday.
Insight: Randolph had 18 points and 15 rebounds with two assists and a steal. Randolph seems to be over his knee injury, but based on his injury history, we wouldn't be surprised if the injury arises again.

Description: Mavericks power forward Dirk Nowitzki had 21 points in the victory over the Grizzlies on Monday.

Mike Scott, F, ATL1/19/2015 5:13:00 PM
Description: Hawks forward Mike Scott came off the bench and scored 20 points on Monday.
Insight: The 20 points ties a season-high for Scott, which he previously set on opening night of the season. Scott was 9-of-15, including 2-for-6 from the 3-point line. Atlanta's starters, however, dominant the score sheet night in and night out, so it's hard to count on a guy like Scott for consistent fantasy production.

Insight: Stoudemire is averaging 12.7 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.1 bpg, but can't be counted on to play every day. He managed just eight minutes in London, so even if active he shouldn't be started by fantasy owners.

Description: Pelicans forward Anthony Davis is questionable for Monday's game against New York.
Insight: The injury is not thought to be serious, but Davis is a franchise player (24.2 ppg, 10.4 rpg, 1.6 apg, 1.5 spg, 2.9 bpg) so New Orleans will take all necessary precautions to protect their top asset. Ryan Anderson would get a start. Obviously if Davis plays he's a must start.

That's two big games in a row since returning from injury. He's averaged 34.5 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 5..0 apg against Phoenix and the Lakers.
