Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry scored 25 points in the, 110-98, victory over the Clippers on Saturday.
Insight: Lowry shot 9-of-17 from the field, including 3-for-7 from the 3-point line. He also had seven assists, three rebounds and three steals. The weakest point of Lowry's game continues to be free-throw shooting, but he did go 4-for-5 on Saturday at the line.
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry lhad a solid game Sunday against the Knicks.
Insight: He went 7-of-12 from the field and 6-of-6 from beyond the arc for 22 points. Lowry also chipped in nine assists, four rebounds, two 3-pointers, three steals, and four turnovers. He continues to be a great option.
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry led Toronto with 20 points in the, 105-89, victory over the Nets.
Insight: Lowry shot 7-of-13, including 2-of-3 from the 3-point line and was 4-for-4 at the line. Lowry recorded a double-double with 12 assists and contributed three rebounds and two steals too. He continues to be the No. 1 scoring option without DeMar DeRozan.
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry shot just 3-for-13 but did dish 13 assists against the Nuggets on Monday as Toronto won in overtime.
Insight: Lowry had a double-double with 13 points and 13 assists. He shot 7-of-8 from the free-throw line to help his numbers. It was nice to see someone else score for Toronto without DeMar DeRozan in the lineup.
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas had his fifth double-double of the season on Monday against the Nuggets.
Insight: Valanciunas scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. He shot 8-of-11 to really help the field goal percentage. The center also added four blocks. Without DeMar DeRozan until January, someone needs to step up on offense to help Kyle Lowry, so Valanciunas might just be the guy.
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson played very well in the loss against the Cavaliers on Friday.
Insight: Johnson scored a season-high 27 points, shooting 11-of-15 from the field. He also had seven rebounds and four assists. Johnson seems to be the second-option for the Raptors offense that will be playing without DeMar DeRozan until likely sometime in January.
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan will not need surgery to repair his torn thigh muscle according to the Toronto Sun.
Insight: This is fantasy news for fantasy owners as DeRozan is week-to-week. Despite the week-to-week status, he probably won't return until January. Greivis Vasquez, James Johnson, Terrence Ross and Patrick Patterson will all see their values rise, but ultimately Kyle Lowry will be the guy until DeRozan return.
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan has a torn left adductor longus tendon and we now have a timetabkle for his return.
Insight: According to NBA Insider Sam Amick he's hoping to return in four weeks. That's a big blow for fantasy owners and the Kings. Lou Williams should be able to replace his points, but he doesn't give you much in the other fantasy categories.
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan has a torn left adductor longus tendon.
Insight: For all owners, like us, who are not familiar with many medical terms, it is an injury to DeRozan's groin. There is no timetable for his return, but he is expected to miss an extended period of time. Lou Williams should benefit the most during DeRozan's absence.
Description: Raptors guard Louis Williams scored a season-high 36 points in Saturday's win against the Cavaliers.
Insight: He did so off the bench in 29 minutes, going 9-of-19 from the field and 15-of-15 from the line. Williams added four rebounds, three 3-pointers, one assist, and three steals. This may be the best game Williams gives owners all season.
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas had a double-double on Friday versus the Bucks.
Insight: Toronto blew out Milwaukee, 124-83, which is extremely impressive considering DeMar DeRozan shot 1-of-8 from the floor. With DeRozan struggling, Valanciunas stepped up to score 18 points and grab 12 rebounds.
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry broke out of his shooting slump, hitting 12-of-17, including 2-for-3 from beyond the arc as Toronto beat Boston, 110-107.
Insight: Lowry also made 9-of-10 attempt from the free-throw line to finish with 35 points. He chipped in four rebounds, three assists and two steals as well, but owners are extremely excited Lowry finally got going in the scorer's sheet.
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson did not play Sunday night and is questionable for Tuesday.
Insight: Johnson is dealing with a sore left ankle. Patrick Peterson would get the start and Tyler Hansbrough would also see increased playing time. Johnson has averaged a solid 15 ppg and 7.5 rpg in the two games he did play.
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry posted another poor shooting night, 5-of-12 from the field, but scored 21 points.
Insight: Lowry got to the free-throw line 11 times and made nine of those shots. Lowry also made two 3-pointers. Fantasy owners like the 21 points, three rebounds, five assists and one steal from the guard, but they still want a better shooting percentage from Lowry.
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry had a poor shooting night, but posted a double-double during Wednesday's win over Atlanta.
Insight: Lowry and DeMar Derozan shot poorly, going a a combined 7-of-27. However, Derozan chipped in 15 points, 11 rebounds, and six steals, while Lowry had 11 points, 10 assists, six rebounds, and three steals. Both players should be extremely valuable until season's end.
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas led the team in scoring, in limited minutes.
Insight: He played only 21 minutes, and was 4-of-5 from the field, but 9-of-10 from the line, for his 17 points. Valanciunas also chipped in eight rebounds and a block. It was a solid opening night, and owners can expect his playing to increase as well.
Description: Raptors forward Patrick Patterson is the classic player who is better in real life than in fantasy.
Insight: Patterson contributes intangibles off the bench to Toronto and the team is happy to have him. For fantasy, however, Peterson is a guy who will average about eight points and five rebounds per game off the bench.
Description: Raptors guard Greivis Vasquez only has value in deeper leagues unless Kyle Lowry gets hurt.
Insight: The days of Vasquez leading the league in assists are long gone, mostly because he is a backup to Lowry. He will contribute about four-to-five assists per game, but his value in standards leagues is strictly as a handcuff to Lowry.
Description: Raptors guard Terrence Ross' fantasy value largely depends on how many 3-pointers he can shoot per game.
Insight: Ross is only 23-years-old, so he can definitely continue to get better. For right now though, his fantasy impact is mostly in 3-point shooting. He made 40.1 percent of his 3-pointers last season while averaging 12.2 PPG and 2.3 3-pointers per game.
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas could be poised for a breakout season in 2014-2015.
Insight: Valanciunas dropped his fouls per game from 3.2 to 2.8 after the All-Star break last season and that allowed him to stay on the court to make an impact. He averaged 16.8 PPG, 11.0 RPG, 0.9 BPG, 57.6 field goal percentage and 76.6 free-throw percentage in eight April games. He is on the verge of breaking out as a star.
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan will lead Toronto in scoring again this season.
Insight: DeRozan led the team in scoring and assists last season. Toronto will need him to score again this season, and he takes a lot of free throws as well. DeRozan still might not give fantasy owners a ton of 3-pointers, but he has a lot of other things to offer.
Description: Kyle Lowry posted career-best numbers in nearly every category last season.
Insight: That begs the question, can he repeat last season's success? He averaged 17.9 PPG, 7.4 APG, 2.4 3-pointers, 13.7 FGA, 4.9 FTA and shot 38 percent from behind the arc. It will be hard for Lowry to repeat those numbers as we don't expect him to play in 79 games again, but he has little competition for his position and the Raptors need him to score. He should be a reliable fantasy player once again.
Description: According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Raptors have re-signed Kyle Lowry to a four-year, $48 million contract.
Insight: Lowry was one of top second-tier free agents available, but he'll stick with the Raptors rather than taking less money to play with Houston or Miami. The 28-year-old had his best season in 2013-14, averaging 36.2 minutes, 17.9 points, 7.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds, 2.4 threes and 1.5 steals per game.
Description: Kyle Lowry and the Heat appear to be interested in joining forces. The point guard will become a free agent on July 1st. SOURCE: Brian Windhorst, ESPN
Insight: Lowry had a breakout year for the Raptors, averaging 17.9 ppg and 7.4 apg in 79 games during the regular season. Miami has certainly been lacking in the point guard department and Lowry would be a huge upgrade over Norris Cole and Mario Chalmers. Still, Lowry could probably earn more money elsewhere as the Heat are likely to use most of their salary cap space on re-signing LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Whatever Lowry makes next season, it will definitely be more than the $6.2 million he earned in 2013-14.
Description: Toronto guard Kyle Lowry scored a game-high 28 points Sunday in a heartbreaking loss to Brooklyn.
Insight: In what will go down as one of the most dramatic playoff games in recent memory, Lowry had the ball in his hands for the final shot but could not deliver. After taking contact from Kevin Garnett on his way to the hoop, Paul Pierce came from behind to block Lowry's shot as time expired. It was a disappointing end to what was an excellent series and an even better season for Lowry. With Lowry (21.1 ppg in the series) headed for free agency after the season, you wonder if he's played his final game with the Raptors.
Description: Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry had 36 points, six assists and six threes Wednesday as Toronto took a 3-2 lead in its first-round playoff series against the Nets.
Insight: After leading by 22 points going into the fourth quarter, the Raptors allowed the Nets to tie the game with 1:23 left, but Kyle Lowry answered with a 3-pointer with 1:04 left to give Toronto a lead it would never lose. Lowry has averaged 21.8 points, 5.2 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 2.6 threes per game in the series.
Description: Toronto G/F DeMar DeRozan looked much better in Tuesday night's win over the Nets.
Insight: DeRozan couldn't get much going in Game 1 (14 points on 3-of-13 shooting) but Game 2 was a completely different story. He ended up with 30 points in 38 minutes of court time. He shot 12-of-14 from the free throw line and is now 20-of-22 from that distance in this series (90.9 percent). Game 3 will be played Friday in Brooklyn.
Description: Toronto forward Amir Johnson (ankle) went through a light practice Thursday and is likely to play Friday, according to Eric Koreen of the National Post.
Insight: Johnson (10.7 ppg, 6.7 rpg) has dealt with soreness in his right ankle on and off since February and missed the last three games. Patrick Patterson and Tyler Hansbrough have been splitting time at power forward.
Description: Toronto forward Amir Johnson (ankle) will sit out Wednesday, the team announced.

Description: Toronto guard Kyle Lowry (knee) will play Wednesday, according to Megan Robinson of sportsnet.ca.
Insight: Lowry (17.4 ppg, 7.6 apg, 4.8 rpg) missed the last three games due to a bruised left knee. Coach Dwane Casey said there won't be a restriction on his minutes. Greivis Vasquez will move back to a reserve role.
Description: Toronto center Jonas Valanciunas has averaged 33.8 minutes, 16.6 points, 9.9 rebounds and 0.9 blocks over his last seven games.
Insight: Valanciunas had 17 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and one block Saturday against the Bucks. Toronto played the 21-year-old only 27.2 minutes per game over his first 63 games but has given him 32.4 per contest over the last 13.
Description: Toronto forward Amir Johnson (ankle) will sit out his second straight game Saturday, according to Eric Smith of tsn.ca.
Insight: Johnson (10.7 ppg, 6.7 rpg) has dealt with soreness in his right ankle on and off since February. Patrick Patterson and Tyler Hansbrough will split his minutes and neither is a good fantasy option.
Description: Toronto guard Kyle Lowry (knee) will miss a third straight game Saturday against the Bucks, according to Eric Smith of sportsnet.ca.
Insight: Lowry bruised his left knee when he collided with LeBron James on March 31, and the Raptors have already clinched a playoff spot so they can afford to let him heal. Greivis Vasquez averaged 36.3 minutes, 12.5 points, 5.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 threes the last two games.
Description: Toronto guard Kyle Lowry won't be available Friday against Indiana. SOURCE: Toronto Star
Insight: It's the second game he's missed with a knee injury. Lowry's backup, Greivis Vasquez, figures to be a nice fantasy option on Friday. He posted 15 points and eight assists Wednesday in a win over Houston.
Description: Raptors guard Greivis Vasquez played 40 minutes in place of Kyle Lowry (knee) Wednesday and had 15 points, eight assists and four rebounds.
Insight: Vasquez averaged 13.9 points, 9.0 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game last season as New Orleans' starting point guard, so we know he can produce when given the chance. He's been providing decent numbers even with Lowry in the lineup so he's worth an add.
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson's nagging right ankle acted up again during Wednesday's game and he's done for the night, according to Josh Lewenberg of tsn.ca.
Insight: Johnson has been bothered by the injury since February. He usually plays through injuries but the Raptors already clinched a playoff spot and can afford to rest him. Patrick Patterson is next in line for minutes.
Description: Updating a previous report, Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry (sore left knee) will try to play Wednesday, according to Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun.
Insight: Lowry had a knee-on-knee collision with LeBron James in the first half of Monday's game and had to exit. If Lowry warms up and determines he cannot play, Greivis Vasquez would start in his place and make for a nice play with the defensive-minded Patrick Beverley out for Houston.
Description: Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry (sore left knee) will not play Wednesday against the Rockets, according to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.
Insight: Lowry had a knee-on-knee collision with LeBron James in the first half of Monday's game and had to exit. Greivis Vasquez will start in his place and makes for a nice play with the defensive-minded Patrick Beverley out for Houston.
Description: Raptors guard Greivis Vasquez had 17 points in 23 minutes Monday.
Insight: Kyle Lowry exited with left knee soreness after colliding with LeBron James, so Vasquez may find himself in the starting lineup. He has scored double-digit points in seven of the last nine games despite playing just 22.4 mpg in that stretch.
Description: Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry left Monday's game against the Heat due to a sore left knee and will not return, the team announced.
Insight: Lowry had a knee-on-knee collision with LeBron James in the first half. Fantasy owners avoided a scare on Friday when Lowry returned after rolling his ankle, but the knee injury has knocked him out.
Description: Raptors guard Greivis Vasquez had a bizarre night Tuesday against Cleveland.
Insight: Vasquez hit 4-of-7 from three-point range but was 0-of-6 from inside the line (4-of-13 overall). He appeared to injure himself on the game's final play, falling down and throwing up an errant pass that was intercepted by Luol Deng. Vasquez has registered double-digit points in each of his last five games after being held in the single digits four times in his previous six outings.
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry rewarded his fantasy owners with 22 points, ten dimes and five rebounds Tuesday in a loss to Cleveland.
Insight: Usually an excellent free throw shooter, Lowry shot just 3-of-7 from that distance on Tuesday. That's the first time since January 24th that Lowry has missed more free throws than he's made. Other than that, Lowry (three steals) was outstanding. Expect him to have another good game Wednesday against Boston.
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson is probable for Tuesday's game against Cleveland despite suffering from a hyperextended left knee in Sunday's game, according to Mike Ganter of the Toronto Sun.
Insight: Johnson has a reputation for toughness and apparently can play through this injury. He had scored double-digits in eight straight games until Sunday and is averaging 11.1 ppg and 6.8 rpg.
Description: Toronto center Jonas Valanciunas (13 points, 13 rebounds) posted a double-double Sunday in a win over Atlanta.
Insight: It's his 19th double-double of the season. Valanciunas only took four shots in the game, though he went to the free throw line ten times. The 21-year-old from Lithuania has averaged 11.7 ppg in ten contests this month.
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson played through a knee injury Sunday in a win against Atlanta.
Insight: It wasn't one of Johnson's better outings, at least offensively (six points on 3-for-7 shooting), but you have to admire his toughness. Unless we hear otherwise, we'd expect Johnson to play Tuesday versus Cleveland.
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson is good to go Wednesday against the Pelicans. SOURCE: Josh Lewenberg, TSN 1050
Insight: He tweaked his ankle last night against the Hawks but was never expected to miss any time. With Jonas Valanciunas (sprained back) likely to sit out, Johnson (10.8 ppg, 6.7 rpg) could see some minutes at center on Wednesday.
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas isn't expected to play Wednesday against New Orleans. SOURCE: Mike Ganter, Toronto Sun
Insight: Valanciunas sprained his lower back last night in Atlanta. He hasn't missed a game yet this season. Tyler Hansbrough (5.1 ppg, 4.4 rpg) and Chuck Hayes (2.1 ppg, 3.4 rpg) are both candidates to start in his place.
Description: Raptors forward Patrick Patterson (sprained UCL in his right elbow) will miss at least another week, the team learned Tuesday. SOURCE: Josh Lewenberg, tsn.ca
Insight: Patterson (8.9 ppg, 5.4 rpg) was diagnosed with the elbow injury on March 9 and was reevaluated Monday. He'll return to limited basketball activity with hopes of returning in seven days. Starter Amir Johnson has been seeing more minutes with Patterson out of the lineup.
Description: Toronto center Jonas Valanciunas (lower back strain) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.
Insight: Valanciunas suffered the injury Tuesday at Atlanta. He's been playing well, averaging 18 points and 6.3 rebounds over his last three games. If Valanciunas cannot play Wednesday, Chuck Hayes, Steve Novak and Tyler Hansbrough will see more minutes.
Description: Toronto G/F DeMar DeRozan collected his second double-double of the season Tuesday in a loss to Atlanta.
Insight: DeRozan racked up 29 points, ten rebounds and six assists in 45 minutes of action. Roughly half of his points came at the free throw line (13-of-14). DeRozan has averaged 23.1 ppg since the All-Star break (22.4 ppg in the first half).
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry went off for 28 points Sunday in a loss to Phoenix.
Insight: He also had 13 assists, five rebounds and two steals. If Lowry (17.2 ppg, 7.9 apg, 4.7 rpg) keeps this up, he could be in the running for Most Improved Player. Last year, that award was won by Indiana forward Paul George.
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas played 36 minutes Friday, his most since Dec. 31.
Insight: Toronto coach Dwane Casey has kept the 21-year-old Valanciunas' minutes around 26 per game since the January began. He hadn't played more than 29 in any of his previous 12 games. He responded to the increased playing time with 23 points, nine rebounds and one steal Friday against the Grizzlies, who have last season's Defensive Player of the Year Marc Gasol at center.
Description: Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry almost had his second triple-double in as many nights Monday versus Brooklyn.
Insight: Lowry generated 21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. The night before against Minnesota, he had 20 points, 12 boards and 11 dimes. He's logged at least 35 minutes in seven of his last eight games.
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry is active for Sunday's game against Golden State.
Insight: He rolled his ankle Thursday against Washington though we never expected him to miss any time. With Terrence Ross (sprained ankle) out, Lowry (16.9 ppg, 7.7 apg) and DeMar DeRozan (22.7 ppg) should both see a heavy workload on Sunday.
Description: Raptors shooting guard Terrence Ross (sprained ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game with the Warriors. SOURCE: Raptors Media Relations on Twitter
Insight: We figured as much after Ross was only able to use the stationary bike during yesterday's practice. John Salmons (5.6 ppg) is likely to start in his place though his fantasy impact should be minimal.
Description: Toronto guard Greivis Vasquez had 26 points, eight assists, four threes and two steals in 39 minutes Thursday against the Wizards.
Insight: Vasquez saw extra playing time after Terrence Ross suffered an ankle sprain in the first half. Kyle Lowry also suffered an ankle injury at the end of regulation and gutted out three overtimes, so he may have to miss Sunday's game if his ankle swells. Vasquez should be added in most leagues just in case.
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan averaged 26.4 points, 5.0 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game in February.
Insight: DeRozan wrapped up the month with 34 points, six assists, four rebounds and two steals in 57 minutes during a triple-overtime loss to the Wizards Thursday. He hasn't made a 3-pointer since Feb. 12 but averaged 9.1 free-throw attempts per game in February while making 85.5 percent of them.
Description: Toronto guard Kyle Lowry injured his right ankle on the final play of regulation Thursday but was able to play through overtime.
Insight: He landed on Marcin Gortat's foot after taking a floater that missed and appeared to be in significant pain on the floor. He wasn't moving very well during the overtime period but gutted out the extra time. He'll be able to rest the ankle until Sunday but may have to miss a game if it swells up.
Description: Raptors guard Terrence Ross will not return to Thursday's game due to a sprained left ankle, the team announced.
Insight: After exploding for 51 points on Jan. 25, Ross has returned to his normal production with 11.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.9 threes over his last 14 games, but he had 11 points in the first half Thursday. John Salmons started the second half in his place.

Description: DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors with 33 points Tuesday in a win over Cleveland.
Insight: Sixteen of DeRozan's 33 points came in the fourth quarter. DeRozan still hasn't made a three-pointer since the All-Star break (0-for-10) though it's tough to complain when he's averaging 25.7 ppg for the month of February.
Description: Toronto guard Kyle Lowry was terrific in Sunday's win against the Magic.
Insight: Lowry made a killing from deep, draining four of his five attempts from beyond the arc. Overall, Lowry shot 7-for-13 from the field for 28 points. He also contributed four rebounds and six assists.
Description: The Raptors landed Nando de Colo Thursday in a trade with San Antonio. SOURCE: Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo Sports
Insight: The Spurs received backup forward Austin Daye. With Kyle Lowry and Greivis Vasquez occupying so many minutes at point guard, it's tough to envision de Colo (4.3 ppg) having much of a fantasy impact on his new team.
Description: According to the Toronto Sun, Raptors coach Dwane Casey said he will manage his frontcourt rotation based on matchups.
Insight: The 21-year-old Jonas Valanciunas has started 53 games for Toronto this season but averaged 27.7 minutes, 10.6 points, 8.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks, but he has played just 25.4 minutes per game in February.
Description: Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry led the way with 24 points and ten assists Tuesday in a victory over Washington.
Insight: Could this be Lowry's final game as a Raptor? Who knows. We do know this though. According to ESPN Stats and Info, Tuesday was Lowry's third 20-point, ten-assist game of the season. That's as many as he had in his two previous seasons combined.
Description: Raptors forward Patrick Patterson will start Tuesday even though Amir Johnson (ankle) is returning from a two-game absence, according to Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun.
Insight: Patterson has averaged 15 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.5 threes over his last four games, but he'll probably play less than the 31.7 minutes per game he saw with Johnson out of the lineup now that Johnson is back.
Description: Toronto forward Amir Johnson (bruised left ankle) is probable for Tuesday's game against Washington.
Insight: Johnson hasn't played since Feb 7, but should be fine to return and start on Tuesday. He's averaging a career-high 10.3 ppg along with 6.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game this season, but has struggles to score of late averaging just 6.0 ppg in February.
Description: This will be an important and probably nerve-racking week for Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry's fantasy owners with the trade deadline on the horizon.
Insight: Lowry is having the best season of his career (16.7 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 7.6 apg, 1.6 spg), but we don't know if the Raptors are buyers or sellers. GM Masai Ujiri says there are no untouchables on the team and a number of contenders could be interested in Lowry.
Description: Toronto guard DeMar DeRozan shot 11-of-19 for a game-high 31 points Wednesday against Atlanta.
Insight: The Raptors' four other starters -- Kyle Lowry, Terrence Ross, Patrick Patterson and Jonas Valanciunas -- went 17-of-49 (.347) from the field, but Derozan came up big for his third game with 30+ points in his last six. He has averaged 27.7 ppg in February.
Description: Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry turned in a strong all-around performance Monday against New Orleans.
Insight: Lowry netted 19 points on efficient 8-for-13 shooting while also collecting 12 assists, seven rebounds and two steals. Since his two-point outing against Utah last week, Lowry has averaged a remarkable 19.7 ppg and 7.7 apg on 44.7 percent shooting (21-for-47).
Description: Toronto forward Amir Johnson won't compete in Monday night's game against New Orleans. SOURCE: Josh Lewenberg, TSN 1050
Insight: Johnson (10.3 ppg, 6.7 rpg) has been bothered by a sprained ankle and our guess is, we won't see him until after the All-Star break. Patrick Patterson (8.7 ppg, 5.3 rpg), who is battling an injury of his own (broken nose), will fill in for Johnson Monday versus the Pelicans.
Description: Raptors forward Patrick Patterson will continue to wear a protective mask for at least the next four weeks. Patterson broke his nose late last month. SOURCE: Ryan Wolstat, Toronto Sun
Insight: Patterson (8.7 ppg, 5.3 rpg) has put up his usual stats while wearing the mask so we don't anticipate this having a major fantasy impact. Who knows, maybe he'll pull a Richard Hamilton and embrace the accessory, wearing it even when he doesn't have to.
Description: Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan did something he's only done twice in his career Saturday against Portland.
Insight: Saturday marked just the second double-double of his career as DeRozan ended up with 36 points and 12 assists. A one-trick pony throughout most of his career, DeRozan (22.0 ppg) is beginning to show new life as a rebounder and distributor. His 4.6 rpg and 3.8 apg averages this season are both career-highs.
Description: Toronto guard DeMar DeRozan (foot) will return to the lineup Friday, according to Josh Lewenberg of sportsnet.ca.
Insight: DeRozan missed the last two games with a sprained left foot but said Thursday that he was 90 percent healthy and could have played Wednesday. He also found out Thursday that he made his first All-Star team.
Description: Toronto power forward Patrick Patterson (broken nose) is probable for Friday's game, according to raptors.com.
Insight: Patterson broke his nose Saturday and played two days later but sat out Wednesday after having a procedure to reset the nose. Now that Tyler Hansbrough is back in the lineup after missing 14 games, Patterson's playing time will be reduced slightly.
Description: Toronto guard DeMar DeRozan (foot) is listed as a game-time decision for Friday's game. SOURCE: Eric Smith, sportsnet.ca

Description: Toronto power forward Patrick Patterson had a procedure Tuesday to reset his broken nose and will miss Wednesday's game, according to raptors.com.
Insight: Patterson saw extra playing time in the 14 games Tyler Hansbrough missed with an ankle injury, but Hansbrough will be available Wednesday. The two will split playing time off the bench when healthy.
Description: Raptors power forward Tyler Hansbrough is available to play Wednesday, according to raptors.com.
Insight: Hansbrough missed the last 14 games with an ankle injury. He's only averaging 17.5 minutes per game this season and has no fantasy value, but his absence allowed Patrick Patterson to get extra playing time. Patterson averaged 23.6 minutes, 11.9 points and 5.6 rebounds while Hansbrough was out.
Description: Toronto guard DeMar DeRozan (foot) did not travel to Brooklyn for Monday's game and though he says his ankle feels better is questionable for Wednesday's game against Orlando.
Insight: DeRozan rolled his ankle in the second quarter Saturday night when he landed on Hedo Turkoglu's foot following a jump shot. The team diagnosed him with a sprained left foot. Terrence Ross returned to earth following his 51-point outburst so score just 10 points on nine shots. No, he's not the answer.
Description: Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry had a very productive outing Monday against the Nets.
Insight: The victory snapped Brooklyn's five-game winning streak. Lowry shot 10-of-18 from the field for 31 points while also contributing seven assists, five boards and five steals. Lowry assisted on Patrick Patterson's game-winning 12-footer with six seconds left. Toronto holds a two and a half game edge for first place in the Atlantic Division.

Insight: DeRozan rolled his ankle in the second quarter Saturday night when he landed on Hedo Turkoglu's foot following a jump shot. The team diagnosed him with a sprained left foot. DeRozan's 37.7 minutes per game will be distributed among Greivis Vasquez, Terrence Ross and John Salmons, with Ross (51 points Saturday) representing the biggest beneficiary of DeRozan's absence.
Description: Toronto guard DeMar DeRozan's X-rays came back negative, but he has gone for further testing and scans, according to Eric Smith of sportsnet.ca.
Insight: DeRozan rolled his ankle in the second quarter Saturday night when he landed on Hedo Turkoglu's foot following a jump shot. He stayed in the game initially but had to go to the locker room in the third quarter and didn't return. The team diagnosed him with a sprained left foot. DeRozan's 37.7 minutes per game will be distributed among Greivis Vasquez, Terrence Ross and John Salmons, with Ross (51 points Saturday) representing the biggest beneficiary of DeRozan's absence.
Description: The Raptors lost to the Clippers Saturday night but don't blame Terrence Ross. He made 16-of-29 from the field and scored a career-high 51 points, grabbed nine rebounds and made 10 threes.

Since he became the starting two-guard, Ross has averaged 13.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.6 triples per game. DeMar DeRozan left Saturday's game with a sprained left foot and if he has to miss time Ross would end up benefitting immensely.

Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry earned his fourth career triple-double Friday in a win over the Sixers.
Insight: Lowry collected 18 points, 13 assists and ten rebounds in 36 minutes of court time. He was awful against Dallas earlier in the week (three points on 0-of-10 shooting) but that was probably because he was dealing with flu-like symptoms. When healthy, Lowry is one of the more consistent options in all of fantasy basketball.

Insight: Hansbrough's return should be coming shortly, though it probably won't affect many fantasy teams as he's averaging just 5.5 ppg and 5.0 rpg. His return would likely adversly effect starter Amir Johnson who is playing almost 30 mpg and averaging 11.0 ppg, 6.8 rpg.
Description: Toronto center Jonas Valanciunas played just 14 minutes and had four points Sunday against the Lakers.

Both players are shooting under 36 percent. Toronto spread out Salmons' minutes to DeMar DeRozan, Patrick Patterson and Julyan Stone on Sunday.

Insight: He injured his back on Friday but was back at practice less than 24 hours later. If we had to guess, we'd say Salmons is likely to play on Sunday. He's averaged 9.0 ppg in two games against Los Angeles in 2013-14.
Description: Toronto G/F John Salmons left Friday's game with back spasms.
Insight: He averaged 26 minutes and 12 points his previous three games but left after 10 minutes Friday. He has played 25 minutes per game in 18 games with Toronto after coming over from the Kings, but he has averaged just 6.8 ppg in that timeframe. Look for Steve Novak and Landry Fields to see more minutes if Salmons has to miss time.

Insight: Wednesday was the 28-year-old's fourth absence in a row. The team is calling him day-to-day. Hansbrough (5.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg) has only started three games this season and won't be a fantasy option even when he comes back as he's buried deep on the depth chart.

Description: Raptors guard Terrence Ross is averaging 14 points and 2.6 threes per game as a starter this season.
Insight: Ross was handed the starting shooting guard spot following the trade of Rudy Gay to Sacramento, and the 22-year-old slam dunk artist has responded with some big games. He just needs to show a little more consistency, but he's a must-own due to his 3-point shooting. Ross had 18 points, four rebounds, three steals and two threes in 38 minutes Wednesday to help the Raptors improve to 9-3 since the trade.
