Description: Raptors guard Louis Williams played very well during Friday's victory against the Pacers.

Kyle Lowry, G12/9/2014 9:31:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry didn't shoot well in Tuesday's loss to the Cavaliers, but still produced for fantasy owners.
Insight: He was 6-of-18 from the field and 2-of-2 from the line for 16 points, 14 assists, four rebounds, two 3-pointers, and one steal. Lowry is a great option at point guard.
Jonas Valanciunas, C12/9/2014 9:27:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas posted his second double-double in as many nights.
Insight: He was very efficient, going 6-of-7 from the field and 6-of-6 from the line for 18 points, 15 rebounds, and three turnovers. Valanciunas is a top-70 player.
Landry Fields, G12/9/2014 7:29:00 PM
Description: Raptors swingman Landry Fields earned a surprise start against the Cavaliers on Tuesday.
Insight: This sent Greivis Vasquez to the bench. There is no indication of whether this is a one-time move or a permanent change. We will continue to monitor the Toronto lineup.

Insight: Lowry had a double-double with 13 points and 13 assists. He shot 7-of-8 from the free-throw line to help his numbers. It was nice to see someone else score for Toronto without DeMar DeRozan in the lineup.

Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas had his fifth double-double of the season on Monday against the Nuggets.
Insight: Valanciunas scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. He shot 8-of-11 to really help the field goal percentage. The center also added four blocks. Without DeMar DeRozan until January, someone needs to step up on offense to help Kyle Lowry, so Valanciunas might just be the guy.
Amir Johnson, F12/5/2014 10:04:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson played very well in the loss against the Cavaliers on Friday.
Insight: Johnson scored a season-high 27 points, shooting 11-of-15 from the field. He also had seven rebounds and four assists. Johnson seems to be the second-option for the Raptors offense that will be playing without DeMar DeRozan until likely sometime in January.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F12/5/2014 6:46:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan will not need surgery to repair his torn thigh muscle according to the Toronto Sun.
Insight: This is fantasy news for fantasy owners as DeRozan is week-to-week. Despite the week-to-week status, he probably won't return until January. Greivis Vasquez, James Johnson, Terrence Ross and Patrick Patterson will all see their values rise, but ultimately Kyle Lowry will be the guy until DeRozan return.
Kyle Lowry, G12/3/2014 9:36:00 AM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry scored a team-high 27 points, along with 13 assists in Tuesday's win over the Kings.

Lou Williams, SGHot12/1/2014 12:06:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Louis Williams should be a viable fantasy option while Demar DeRozan is sidelined for about a month.
Insight: Williams has always been a scorer and this will give him more playing time, but he won't help you in the other fantasy categories. He's averaging 22 ppg over his last five contests.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F12/1/2014 12:02:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan has a torn left adductor longus tendon and we now have a timetabkle for his return.
Insight: According to NBA Insider Sam Amick he's hoping to return in four weeks. That's a big blow for fantasy owners and the Kings. Lou Williams should be able to replace his points, but he doesn't give you much in the other fantasy categories.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F11/29/2014 3:44:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan has a torn left adductor longus tendon.
Insight: For all owners, like us, who are not familiar with many medical terms, it is an injury to DeRozan's groin. There is no timetable for his return, but he is expected to miss an extended period of time. Lou Williams should benefit the most during DeRozan's absence.
Kyle Lowry, G11/29/2014 9:12:00 AM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry scored 25 points in Friday's loss to the Mavericks.
Insight: Lowry also chipped in seven rebounds, four assists, one steal, three 3-pointers, and two turnovers. He holds top-20 value.

Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas had a double-double during Monday's win over the Suns.
Insight: He was 10-of-11 from the field and 7-of-8 from the line for 27 points, 11 rebounds, one block, and two turnovers. Have to love the efficiency.
Kyle Lowry, G11/22/2014 10:14:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry was solid again in Saturday's win over Cleveland.
Insight: He had 23 points (5-of-14 from the field, 11-of-12 from the line), eight assists, three rebounds, and one block. Lowry is a great option at point guard right now.
Lou Williams, SG11/22/2014 10:12:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Louis Williams scored a season-high 36 points in Saturday's win against the Cavaliers.
Insight: He did so off the bench in 29 minutes, going 9-of-19 from the field and 15-of-15 from the line. Williams added four rebounds, three 3-pointers, one assist, and three steals. This may be the best game Williams gives owners all season.
Jonas Valanciunas, C11/21/2014 10:31:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas had a double-double on Friday versus the Bucks.
Insight: Toronto blew out Milwaukee, 124-83, which is extremely impressive considering DeMar DeRozan shot 1-of-8 from the floor. With DeRozan struggling, Valanciunas stepped up to score 18 points and grab 12 rebounds.
Kyle Lowry, G11/21/2014 10:26:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry recorded 20 points, nine rebounds and five assists to lift Toronto to a big victory, 124-83, over Milwaukee.
Insight: Lowry did a little of everything on Friday. In addition to those numbers, he shot 60 percent, including 3-for-5 at the 3-point line. He also made 5-of-7 from the free-throw line.
Kyle Lowry, G11/19/2014 10:08:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry recorded 18 points and dished seven assists in the, 96-92, victory over the Grizzlies on Wednesday.

DeMar DeRozan, G/F11/19/2014 10:04:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan scored 21 points to lead Toronto over the team with the best record in the league.

Kyle Lowry, G11/16/2014 10:28:00 AM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry had 19 points on Saturday, shooting 8-for-14, against the Jazz on Saturday.
Insight: Lowry made two 3-pointers and chipped in four assists, three rebounds and a steal as well. He has been a tremendous fantasy find as he was likely a second or third round pick this season.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F11/15/2014 10:51:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan scored 27 points in the victory over the Jazz on Saturday.
Insight: DeRozan shot 10-of-17 from the field and 7-for-8 at the line. He did not contribute much in the other statistics though with three rebounds, two assists and one steal.
Landry Fields, G11/14/2014 10:59:00 AM
Description: Raptors swingman Landry Fields, flu-like symptoms, is questionable for Saturday's game against Utah
Insight: Fields has no fantasy value even when healthy.
Kyle Lowry, G11/13/2014 10:50:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry scored a team-high 20 points during Thursday's loss to Chicago.
Insight: He was 8-of-19 from the field, includinf 3-of-7 from beyond the arc. Lowry also had eight assists, eight rebounds and two turnovers.

Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry did a little bit of everything on Tuesday to help the Raptors comeback and defeat the Magic, 104-100.
Insight: Lowry led Toronto with 19 points and seven assists. He also had six rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field. Lowry is averaging 17.9 ppg and 5.6 apg.

Terrence Ross, SG11/7/2014 10:36:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Terrence Ross shot 4-of-6 from the 3-point line and scored 18 points on Friday.
Insight: Ross also had five rebounds. The game was very encouraging because Ross was able to log 29 minutes, which is the most he has played in a week.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F11/7/2014 10:31:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan was a perfect 11-for-11 from the free-throw line on Friday.
Insight: He added seven field goals to scored 25 points. He chipped in three rebounds, a steal and an assist as well.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F11/5/2014 10:08:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan had 23 points against the Celtics on Wednesday.
Insight: DeRozan and Kyle Lowry combined for 58 points on Wednesday, which was just more than half of Toronto's points. DeRozan took the most shots, 25, and made nine. He also had six assists.
Kyle Lowry, G11/5/2014 10:02:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry broke out of his shooting slump, hitting 12-of-17, including 2-for-3 from beyond the arc as Toronto beat Boston, 110-107.
Insight: Lowry also made 9-of-10 attempt from the free-throw line to finish with 35 points. He chipped in four rebounds, three assists and two steals as well, but owners are extremely excited Lowry finally got going in the scorer's sheet.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F11/4/2014 10:41:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan scored a team-high 16 points, in a win over the Thunder.
Insight: He was 7-of-9 from the free throw line, and chipped in three rebounds and three assists as well. Derozan is a solid fantasy option, moving forward.
Jonas Valanciunas, C11/4/2014 8:47:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas left Tuesday's game against the Thunder. UPDATE: Valanciunas has been cleared to return to action, after x-rays came back negative.
Insight: He played seven minutes before departing, as trainers were checking his right hand. This is great news for owners.
John Salmons, G/F11/4/2014 1:09:00 PM
Description: New Orleans G/F John Salmons (personal) is questionable for Tuesday's game against Charlotte.
Insight: Salmons was at home for the birth of his child and it isn't known when he will return. He's not seeing enough playing time to be of value to fantasy owners.
Amir Johnson, F11/4/2014 11:53:00 AM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson did not play Sunday night and is questionable for Tuesday.
Insight: Johnson is dealing with a sore left ankle. Patrick Peterson would get the start and Tyler Hansbrough would also see increased playing time. Johnson has averaged a solid 15 ppg and 7.5 rpg in the two games he did play.
Amir Johnson, F11/2/2014 6:08:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson will not play Sunday night.
Insight: Johnson has averaged 15 ppg and 7.5 rpg over the first two games. He's dealing with a sore left ankle. Patrick Peterson will get the start.
Kyle Lowry, G11/1/2014 9:46:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry posted another poor shooting night, 5-of-12 from the field, but scored 21 points.
Insight: Lowry got to the free-throw line 11 times and made nine of those shots. Lowry also made two 3-pointers. Fantasy owners like the 21 points, three rebounds, five assists and one steal from the guard, but they still want a better shooting percentage from Lowry.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F11/1/2014 9:41:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan scored 26 points in a, 108-95, victory over the Magic on Saturday.
Insight: DeRozan shot 50 percent from the field and made 8-of-10 from the line. He also had eight rebounds, one assist and one steal without turning the ball over.
Kyle Lowry, G10/29/2014 10:19:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry had a poor shooting night, but posted a double-double during Wednesday's win over Atlanta.
Insight: Lowry and DeMar Derozan shot poorly, going a a combined 7-of-27. However, Derozan chipped in 15 points, 11 rebounds, and six steals, while Lowry had 11 points, 10 assists, six rebounds, and three steals. Both players should be extremely valuable until season's end.
Jonas Valanciunas, C10/29/2014 10:17:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas led the team in scoring, in limited minutes.
Insight: He played only 21 minutes, and was 4-of-5 from the field, but 9-of-10 from the line, for his 17 points. Valanciunas also chipped in eight rebounds and a block. It was a solid opening night, and owners can expect his playing to increase as well.
Patrick Patterson, F10/25/2014 1:51:00 PM
Description: Raptors forward Patrick Patterson is the classic player who is better in real life than in fantasy.
Insight: Patterson contributes intangibles off the bench to Toronto and the team is happy to have him. For fantasy, however, Peterson is a guy who will average about eight points and five rebounds per game off the bench.
Greivis Vasquez, G10/25/2014 1:49:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Greivis Vasquez only has value in deeper leagues unless Kyle Lowry gets hurt.
Insight: The days of Vasquez leading the league in assists are long gone, mostly because he is a backup to Lowry. He will contribute about four-to-five assists per game, but his value in standards leagues is strictly as a handcuff to Lowry.
Terrence Ross, SG10/25/2014 1:44:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Terrence Ross' fantasy value largely depends on how many 3-pointers he can shoot per game.
Insight: Ross is only 23-years-old, so he can definitely continue to get better. For right now though, his fantasy impact is mostly in 3-point shooting. He made 40.1 percent of his 3-pointers last season while averaging 12.2 PPG and 2.3 3-pointers per game.
Amir Johnson, F10/25/2014 1:42:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson is an underrated fantasy player.
Insight: We expect him to average 10.2 PPG, 6.9 RPG and 1.2 BPG. He played the end of last season with an ankle injury, but he is healthy to start this season.
Jonas Valanciunas, C10/25/2014 1:39:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas could be poised for a breakout season in 2014-2015.
Insight: Valanciunas dropped his fouls per game from 3.2 to 2.8 after the All-Star break last season and that allowed him to stay on the court to make an impact. He averaged 16.8 PPG, 11.0 RPG, 0.9 BPG, 57.6 field goal percentage and 76.6 free-throw percentage in eight April games. He is on the verge of breaking out as a star.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F10/25/2014 1:35:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan will lead Toronto in scoring again this season.
Insight: DeRozan led the team in scoring and assists last season. Toronto will need him to score again this season, and he takes a lot of free throws as well. DeRozan still might not give fantasy owners a ton of 3-pointers, but he has a lot of other things to offer.
Kyle Lowry, G10/25/2014 1:29:00 PM
Description: Kyle Lowry posted career-best numbers in nearly every category last season.
Insight: That begs the question, can he repeat last season's success? He averaged 17.9 PPG, 7.4 APG, 2.4 3-pointers, 13.7 FGA, 4.9 FTA and shot 38 percent from behind the arc. It will be hard for Lowry to repeat those numbers as we don't expect him to play in 79 games again, but he has little competition for his position and the Raptors need him to score. He should be a reliable fantasy player once again.
Kyle Lowry, G7/3/2014 12:49:00 PM
Description: According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Raptors have re-signed Kyle Lowry to a four-year, $48 million contract.
Insight: Lowry was one of top second-tier free agents available, but he'll stick with the Raptors rather than taking less money to play with Houston or Miami. The 28-year-old had his best season in 2013-14, averaging 36.2 minutes, 17.9 points, 7.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds, 2.4 threes and 1.5 steals per game.
Kyle Lowry, G6/21/2014 4:00:00 PM
Description: Kyle Lowry and the Heat appear to be interested in joining forces. The point guard will become a free agent on July 1st. SOURCE: Brian Windhorst, ESPN
Insight: Lowry had a breakout year for the Raptors, averaging 17.9 ppg and 7.4 apg in 79 games during the regular season. Miami has certainly been lacking in the point guard department and Lowry would be a huge upgrade over Norris Cole and Mario Chalmers. Still, Lowry could probably earn more money elsewhere as the Heat are likely to use most of their salary cap space on re-signing LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Whatever Lowry makes next season, it will definitely be more than the $6.2 million he earned in 2013-14.
Kyle Lowry, G5/4/2014 4:12:00 PM
Description: Toronto guard Kyle Lowry scored a game-high 28 points Sunday in a heartbreaking loss to Brooklyn.
Insight: In what will go down as one of the most dramatic playoff games in recent memory, Lowry had the ball in his hands for the final shot but could not deliver. After taking contact from Kevin Garnett on his way to the hoop, Paul Pierce came from behind to block Lowry's shot as time expired. It was a disappointing end to what was an excellent series and an even better season for Lowry. With Lowry (21.1 ppg in the series) headed for free agency after the season, you wonder if he's played his final game with the Raptors.
Landry Fields, G5/2/2014 10:59:00 AM
Description: Raptors swingman Landry Fields (back spasms) is probable for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals Friday against Brooklyn
Insight: Fields has been a non-factor in the playoffs. He's gotten in two games for a total of 25 minutes and has yet to score.
Kyle Lowry, GHot4/30/2014 10:37:00 PM
Description: Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry had 36 points, six assists and six threes Wednesday as Toronto took a 3-2 lead in its first-round playoff series against the Nets.
Insight: After leading by 22 points going into the fourth quarter, the Raptors allowed the Nets to tie the game with 1:23 left, but Kyle Lowry answered with a 3-pointer with 1:04 left to give Toronto a lead it would never lose. Lowry has averaged 21.8 points, 5.2 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 2.6 threes per game in the series.
Kyle Lowry, G 4/27/2014 9:44:00 PM
Description: The Raptors tied their first-round playoff series with the Nets 2-2 behind Kyle Lowry's 22 points in Game 4.
Insight: Lowry has averaged 18.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists during the series, though he has shot just 40 percent from the field and 30.4 percent from 3-point range.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F4/22/2014 10:45:00 PM
Description: Toronto G/F DeMar DeRozan looked much better in Tuesday night's win over the Nets.
Insight: DeRozan couldn't get much going in Game 1 (14 points on 3-of-13 shooting) but Game 2 was a completely different story. He ended up with 30 points in 38 minutes of court time. He shot 12-of-14 from the free throw line and is now 20-of-22 from that distance in this series (90.9 percent). Game 3 will be played Friday in Brooklyn.
Jonas Valanciunas, CHot4/22/2014 10:22:00 PM
Description: The Raptors turned things around Tuesday in Game 2 and a lot of the credit goes to second-year big man Jonas Valanciunas (15 points, 14 rebounds).
Insight: He's had a monster series, averaging 16 ppg and 16 rpg on 54.5 percent shooting. We'll see if Valanciunas has any magic left for Friday night's Game 3 in Brooklyn.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F4/19/2014 4:12:00 PM
Description: Raptors swingman DeMar DeRozan couldn't find his shot and went 3-for-13, including 0-for-4 from beyond the arc, in Game 1 versus Brooklyn.
Insight: DeRozan will have to produce as he did in the regular season (22.7 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 4.0 apg, 1.1 spg) if Toronto is to do anything in the series.
Jonas Valanciunas, CHot4/19/2014 4:10:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas did his best to keep Toronto in Game 1 of the series with Brooklyn, grabbing 18 rebounds to go along with 17 points, two assists and a pair of blocks.
Insight: The 18 rebounds was a team record for the postseason. He averaged 11.3 ppg and 8.8 rpg during the regular season, so Game 1 was a huge step up.
Landry Fields, G4/19/2014 10:59:00 AM
Description: Raptors swingman Landry Fields (illness) is probable for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals Saturday against Brooklyn.
Insight: Fields is a non-factor in fantasy who is averaging just 11 minutes per game in the 30 contests he participated in.
Amir Johnson, F4/19/2014 10:58:00 AM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson (right ankle sprain) is probable for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals Saturday against Brooklyn.
Insight: Johnson (10.4 ppg, 6.6 rpg) will have a tough defensive assignment - Paul Pierce. Patrick Patterson will go back to a reserve role.
DeMar DeRozan, G/F4/14/2014 6:12:00 PM
Description: Raptors swingman DeMar DeRozan will get a night off to rest Monday against the Bucks, according to Josh Lewenberg of tsn.ca.
Insight: Greivis Vasquez will start in his place. DeRozan has averaged 24.1 points, 4.4 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.1 steals over his last 49 games and a career-high 22.8 ppg this season.
Kyle Lowry, GHot4/13/2014 10:32:00 PM
Description: Toronto guards Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan combined for 58 points Sunday at Detroit.
Insight: Lowry has averaged 27.3 ppg in three games since he returned from a bruised left knee.
Jonas Valanciunas, CHot4/11/2014 11:08:00 PM
Description: Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas had a career-high 21 boards to go with 14 points Friday against the Knicks.

Description: DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors with 33 points Tuesday in a win over Cleveland.
Insight: Sixteen of DeRozan's 33 points came in the fourth quarter. DeRozan still hasn't made a three-pointer since the All-Star break (0-for-10) though it's tough to complain when he's averaging 25.7 ppg for the month of February.
John Salmons, G/F2/25/2014 6:33:00 PM
Description: Toronto G/F John Salmons (back spasms) will play Tuesday, according to Josh Lewenberg of tsn.ca.
Insight: Salmons had a recurrence of back spasms but will play through it. He hasn't scored more than eight points in any of his last eight games, however, so there's no reason to use him in fantasy.
Amir Johnson, F2/25/2014 6:22:00 PM
Description: Toronto forward Amir Johnson (ankle) will start Tuesday against the Cavaliers, according to raptors.com.
Insight: Johnson sprained his right ankle earlier this month and was forced to leave Sunday's game after being kicked in it. He was held out of practice Monday as a precaution.
Amir Johnson, F2/24/2014 6:34:00 PM
Description: Toronto forward Amir Johnson should be fine for Tuesday's game against Cleveland. SOURCE: Ryan Wolstat, Toronto Sun

Kyle Lowry, G2/23/2014 10:22:00 PM
Description: Toronto guard Kyle Lowry was terrific in Sunday's win against the Magic.
Insight: Lowry made a killing from deep, draining four of his five attempts from beyond the arc. Overall, Lowry shot 7-for-13 from the field for 28 points. He also contributed four rebounds and six assists.
Amir Johnson, F2/23/2014 10:09:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson had his right ankle kicked Sunday against the Magic but the injury doesn't look serious. SOURCE: Josh Lewenberg, TSN 1050
Insight: Johnson (12 points, eight rebounds on Sunday) seems to have suffered a mild ankle sprain. We wouldn't be surprised to see him back in action Tuesday versus the Cavs.
Nando De Colo, G2/20/2014 7:24:00 PM
Description: The Raptors landed Nando de Colo Thursday in a trade with San Antonio. SOURCE: Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo Sports
Insight: The Spurs received backup forward Austin Daye. With Kyle Lowry and Greivis Vasquez occupying so many minutes at point guard, it's tough to envision de Colo (4.3 ppg) having much of a fantasy impact on his new team.
Jonas Valanciunas, C2/19/2014 11:58:00 AM
Description: According to the Toronto Sun, Raptors coach Dwane Casey said he will manage his frontcourt rotation based on matchups.
Insight: The 21-year-old Jonas Valanciunas has started 53 games for Toronto this season but averaged 27.7 minutes, 10.6 points, 8.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks, but he has played just 25.4 minutes per game in February.
Kyle Lowry, G2/18/2014 9:30:00 PM
Description: Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry led the way with 24 points and ten assists Tuesday in a victory over Washington.
Insight: Could this be Lowry's final game as a Raptor? Who knows. We do know this though. According to ESPN Stats and Info, Tuesday was Lowry's third 20-point, ten-assist game of the season. That's as many as he had in his two previous seasons combined.
Patrick Patterson, F2/18/2014 6:31:00 PM
Description: Raptors forward Patrick Patterson will start Tuesday even though Amir Johnson (ankle) is returning from a two-game absence, according to Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun.
Insight: Patterson has averaged 15 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.5 threes over his last four games, but he'll probably play less than the 31.7 minutes per game he saw with Johnson out of the lineup now that Johnson is back.
Amir Johnson, F2/18/2014 5:28:00 PM
Description: Toronto coach Dwane Casey confirmed that forward Amir Johnson (bruised left ankle) will play Tuesday, according to Josh Lewenberg of tsn.ca.
Insight: Johnson missed the last two games before the All-Star break. He has put up just 8.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.2 blocks over his last 25 games.
Amir Johnson, F2/18/2014 11:17:00 AM
Description: Toronto forward Amir Johnson (bruised left ankle) is probable for Tuesday's game against Washington.
Insight: Johnson hasn't played since Feb 7, but should be fine to return and start on Tuesday. He's averaging a career-high 10.3 ppg along with 6.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game this season, but has struggles to score of late averaging just 6.0 ppg in February.
Kyle Lowry, G2/17/2014 11:11:00 AM
Description: This will be an important and probably nerve-racking week for Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry's fantasy owners with the trade deadline on the horizon.
Insight: Lowry is having the best season of his career (16.7 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 7.6 apg, 1.6 spg), but we don't know if the Raptors are buyers or sellers. GM Masai Ujiri says there are no untouchables on the team and a number of contenders could be interested in Lowry.
DeMar DeRozan, GHot2/12/2014 9:37:00 PM
Description: Toronto guard DeMar DeRozan shot 11-of-19 for a game-high 31 points Wednesday against Atlanta.
Insight: The Raptors' four other starters -- Kyle Lowry, Terrence Ross, Patrick Patterson and Jonas Valanciunas -- went 17-of-49 (.347) from the field, but Derozan came up big for his third game with 30+ points in his last six. He has averaged 27.7 ppg in February.
Amir Johnson, F2/12/2014 6:09:00 PM
Description: Toronto forward Amir Johnson (ankle) will sit out a second straight game Wednesday, according to Eric Koreen of the National Post.

Description: Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry turned in a strong all-around performance Monday against New Orleans.
Insight: Lowry netted 19 points on efficient 8-for-13 shooting while also collecting 12 assists, seven rebounds and two steals. Since his two-point outing against Utah last week, Lowry has averaged a remarkable 19.7 ppg and 7.7 apg on 44.7 percent shooting (21-for-47).
Amir Johnson, F2/10/2014 6:36:00 PM
Description: Toronto forward Amir Johnson won't compete in Monday night's game against New Orleans. SOURCE: Josh Lewenberg, TSN 1050
Insight: Johnson (10.3 ppg, 6.7 rpg) has been bothered by a sprained ankle and our guess is, we won't see him until after the All-Star break. Patrick Patterson (8.7 ppg, 5.3 rpg), who is battling an injury of his own (broken nose), will fill in for Johnson Monday versus the Pelicans.
Patrick Patterson, F2/9/2014 9:36:00 PM
Description: Raptors forward Patrick Patterson will continue to wear a protective mask for at least the next four weeks. Patterson broke his nose late last month. SOURCE: Ryan Wolstat, Toronto Sun
Insight: Patterson (8.7 ppg, 5.3 rpg) has put up his usual stats while wearing the mask so we don't anticipate this having a major fantasy impact. Who knows, maybe he'll pull a Richard Hamilton and embrace the accessory, wearing it even when he doesn't have to.
Kyle Lowry, G2/5/2014 9:26:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry is active for Wednesday's game against Sacramento. SOURCE: Josh Lewenberg, TSN 1050
Insight: He only played 25 minutes Monday because of a sore knee but it looks like he's good to go. Lowry is eighth in the league in assists with 7.5 apg in 48 appearances.
Kyle Lowry, G2/4/2014 7:03:00 PM
Description: Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry (knee) participated in a light practice on Tuesday and expects to play Wednesday, according to Josh Lewenberg of tsn.ca.

Description: Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry said his knee injury is not serious, according to Josh Lewenberg of tsn.ca.

Kyle Lowry, G2/3/2014 11:35:00 PM
Description: Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry left Monday's game with pain in his right knee, according to Josh Lewenberg of tsn.ca.
Insight: Adding insult to injury, Lowry had just two points on 1-of-8 shooting in 25 minutes. He has been a top-three fantasy point guard and top-15 overall asset this season.
Greivis Vasquez, G2/3/2014 8:40:00 PM
Description: Toronto guard Greivis Vasquez will be available Monday against the Jazz in spite of an illness, according to Josh Lewenberg of tsn.ca.
Insight: Vasquez saw more playing time when DeMar DeRozan was briefly out of the lineup but he’s only averaging 19 minutes per game since being traded to the Raptors.
Greivis Vasquez, G2/3/2014 2:52:00 PM
Description: Raptors point guard Greivis Vasquez should return to the court after missing one game due to illness, according to Raptors beat reporter Josh Lewenberg.
Insight: Vasquez is seeing very little PT with Kyle Lowry on top of his game. He's cracked double digits just once inhis last five games.
DeMar DeRozan, G2/2/2014 10:33:00 AM
Description: Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan did something he's only done twice in his career Saturday against Portland.
Insight: Saturday marked just the second double-double of his career as DeRozan ended up with 36 points and 12 assists. A one-trick pony throughout most of his career, DeRozan (22.0 ppg) is beginning to show new life as a rebounder and distributor. His 4.6 rpg and 3.8 apg averages this season are both career-highs.
DeMar DeRozan, G1/31/2014 8:24:00 PM
Description: Toronto guard DeMar DeRozan (foot) will return to the lineup Friday, according to Josh Lewenberg of sportsnet.ca.
Insight: DeRozan missed the last two games with a sprained left foot but said Thursday that he was 90 percent healthy and could have played Wednesday. He also found out Thursday that he made his first All-Star team.
Amir Johnson, F1/31/2014 5:31:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson (ankle) is probable for Friday's game, according to raptors.com.

Patrick Patterson, F1/31/2014 5:20:00 PM
Description: Toronto power forward Patrick Patterson (broken nose) is probable for Friday's game, according to raptors.com.
Insight: Patterson broke his nose Saturday and played two days later but sat out Wednesday after having a procedure to reset the nose. Now that Tyler Hansbrough is back in the lineup after missing 14 games, Patterson's playing time will be reduced slightly.
DeMar DeRozan, G1/31/2014 5:15:00 PM

DeMar DeRozan, G1/30/2014 1:46:00 PM
Description: Toronto guard DeMar DeRozan (foot) did not play Wednesday, but said he feels better and is expecting to play Friday night, according to Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun.
Insight: DeRozan has been dealing with a sprained left foot. Kyle Lowry has averaged 32 ppg of the past two contests and might not be quite so explosive if DeRozan is back taking 17.9 shots a game.
Amir Johnson, F1/29/2014 9:27:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward Amir Johnson's 22 points Wednesday against the Magic were his most since he had 32 on Dec. 8.
Insight: Johnson averaged just 7.8 points and 7.3 field-goal attempts in his previous 12 contests, but he got up a season-high 20 shots Wednesday.
Jonas Valanciunas, CHot1/29/2014 9:25:00 PM

Tyler Hansbrough, F1/29/2014 6:09:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward Tyler Hansbrough is available to play Wednesday, according to raptors.com.
Insight: Hansbrough missed the last 14 games with an ankle injury. He's only averaging 17.5 minutes per game this season and has no fantasy value, but his absence allowed Patrick Patterson to get extra playing time. Insight: DeRozan rolled his ankle in the second quarter Saturday night when he landed on Hedo Turkoglu's foot following a jump shot. The team diagnosed him with a sprained left foot. Terrence Ross returned to earth following his 51-point outburst so score just 10 points on nine shots. No, he's not the answer.
Kyle Lowry, G1/27/2014 10:05:00 PM
Description: Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry had a very productive outing Monday against the Nets.
Insight: The victory snapped Brooklyn's five-game winning streak. Lowry shot 10-of-18 from the field for 31 points while also contributing seven assists, five boards and five steals. DeMar DeRozan, G1/26/2014 3:09:00 PM
Description: Toronto guard DeMar DeRozan's X-rays came back negative, but he has gone for further testing and scans, according to Eric Smith of sportsnet.ca.

He stayed in the game initially but had to go to the locker room in the third quarter and didn't return. The team diagnosed him with a sprained left foot. DeRozan's 37.7 minutes per game will be distributed among Greivis Vasquez, Terrence Ross and John Salmons, with Ross (51 points Saturday) representing the biggest beneficiary of DeRozan's absence.
Terrence Ross, SGHot1/25/2014 9:44:00 PM
Description: The Raptors lost to the Clippers Saturday night but don't blame Terrence Ross. He made 16-of-29 from the field and scored a career-high 51 points, grabbed nine rebounds and made 10 threes.
Insight: Ross won the 2013 Slam Dunk Contest and this season he might be going for the 3-point crown. Since he became the starting two-guard, Ross has averaged 13.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.6 triples per game. DeMar DeRozan left Saturday's game with a sprained left foot and if he has to miss time Ross would end up benefitting immensely.

Description: Toronto guard DeMar DeRozan stayed hot with 34 points Friday in a win over Philadelphia.
Insight: He shot 13-of-16 from the line. DeRozan was one rebound away from his second career double-double. He's been impossibly hot this month with an average of just under 25 ppg in 13 January games. Don't be surprised if DeRozan is named to his first All-Star team when the reserves are announced next week.
Kyle Lowry, G1/24/2014 10:05:00 PM
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry earned his fourth career triple-double Friday in a win over the Sixers.
Insight: Lowry collected 18 points, 13 assists and ten rebounds in 36 minutes of court time. He was awful against Dallas earlier in the week (three points on 0-of-10 shooting) but that was probably because he was dealing with flu-like symptoms. When healthy, Lowry is one of the more consistent options in all of fantasy basketball.
DeMar DeRozan, GHot1/22/2014 10:04:00 PM
Description: Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan exploded for 40 points Wednesday in an upset win over Dallas.
Insight: DeRozan connected on 15 of his 22 field goal attempts. He's scored 20 or more in four of his last five games. With a little luck, he could earn an invite to next month's All-Star Game in New Orleans.

Tyler Hansbrough, F1/20/2014 10:19:00 AM
Description: Raptors power forward Tyler Hansbrough wasn't in the lineup for the ninth consecutive game on Sunday due to an ankle sprain. Sunday.
Insight: Hansbrough's return should be coming shortly, though it probably won't affect many fantasy teams as he's averaging just 5.5 ppg and 5.0 rpg. His return would likely adversly effect starter Amir Johnson who is playing almost 30 mpg and averaging 11.0 ppg, 6.8 rpg.
John Salmons, G/F1/20/2014 10:15:00 AM
Description: Toronto G/F John Salmons (back spasms) didn't play Sunday against the Lakers and is questionable for Monday against Charlotte.
Insight: Salmons has averaged 6.3 ppg in 36 games this season so has no fantasy value, but his absence should mean 35-plus minutes for starter Terrence Ross.
Jonas Valanciunas, CCold1/19/2014 4:08:00 PM
Description: Toronto center Jonas Valanciunas played just 14 minutes and had four points Sunday against the Lakers.

Steve Novak, F1/19/2014 4:03:00 PM
Description: Even though Toronto G/F John Salmons was out Sunday against the Lakers with a bad back, both Steve Novak and Landry Fields picked up DNPs.
Insight: The Raptors may want to stop signing or trading for Knicks' players. Fields has played just 12 minutes per game this season and Novak has averaged 10.5. Both players are shooting under 36 percent. Toronto spread out Salmons' minutes to DeMar DeRozan, Patrick Patterson and Julyan Stone on Sunday.

Description: Raptors power forward Tyler Hansbrough wasn't in the lineup Sunday against the Lakers. SOURCE: Josh Lewenberg, TSN 1050

Description: Raptors swingman John Salmons is going to be a game-time decision Sunday against the Lakers. SOURCE: Josh Lewenberg, TSN 1050

He has played 25 minutes per game in 18 games with Toronto after coming over from the Kings, but he has averaged just 6.8 ppg in that timeframe. Look for Steve Novak and Landry Fields to see more minutes if Salmons has to miss time.
Kyle Lowry, GHot1/17/2014 9:41:00 PM
Description: Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry's 24 points, six assists, six triples and five rebounds were key in the Raptors' five-point win against the Timberwolves Friday night.

Description: Toronto forward Tyler Hansbrough is unlikely to be in uniform Monday against the Bucks. SOURCE: TSN 1050

Description: Raptors power forward Tyler Hansbrough was back at practice on Sunday. He's been sidelined the last five games with a sprained ankle. SOURCE: Josh Lewenberg, TSN 1050

DeMar DeRozan, GHot1/11/2014 9:45:00 PM
Description: Toronto guard DeMar DeRozan has scored at least 20 points in seven of his last nine games, including Saturday against the Nets when he had 26.
Insight: DeRozan has averaged 22.3 ppg in that span. The guard has attempted the same number of field goals per game (17.7) since the Rudy Gay trade as he did when Gay was on the team, though his free-throw attempts have increased by 1.4 per game to 7.5.
Tyler Hansbrough, F1/11/2014 5:57:00 PM
Description: Toronto forward Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) will miss his fifth straight game Saturday against the Nets, according to Tim Bontemps of the NY Post.

Tyler Hansbrough, F1/10/2014 1:06:00 PM

Insight: Wednesday was the 28-year-old's fourth absence in a row. The team is calling him day-to-day. Hansbrough (5.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg) has only started three games this season and won't be a fantasy option even when he comes back as he's buried deep on the depth chart.

Tyler Hansbrough, F1/7/2014 6:36:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward Tyler Hansbrough is still out with a sprained ankle. SOURCE: Matt Devlin, Raptors.com
