Insight: Reddick managed just 363 at-bats this season, but did hit 12 homers with a respectable .763 OPS. He finished the regular season with three consecutive multi-hit games and should be a viable fantasy option in this favorable matchup.

Insight: Pence has played 160 games this season, meaning it's the first game he's missed in 2014. He played 162 last season and 160 in 2012. He's the definition of everyday player and that's how he gets solid fantasy numbers. He's batting .279 with 20 HR, 74 RBI, 106 runs and 13 steals.
Description: Reds right fielder Jay Bruce is a good choice to sit Saturday as he's hitless in 16 at-bats against Pittsburgh left-hander Francisco Liriano.

Description: Nationals right fielder Jayson Werth is not in Friday afternoon's starting lineup.
Insight: The Nationals will go with an outfield of Ryan Zimmerman, Denard Span and Bryce Harper. Werth put together a solid season, batting .287 with 16 HR, 81 RBI and an .837 OPS. The 36-homer 2009 season was a career year and this appears to be the new "normal."

Insight: Bruce is 0-for-11 with seven strikeouts in their matchups. He's had an off season in 2014 and is unlikely to crack the 20-home run mark this season (he's got 16 at the moment) after three consecutive 30-homer seasons.
