For The Last 15 Days

Hunter Pence, RF, SFG3/5/2015 7:47:00 PM
Description: Giants outfielder Hunter Pence will miss six-to-eight weeks after an X-ray revealed Thursday he has a fracture in his left forearm.
Insight: Pence took a pitch in the arm just above the wrist on Thursday which caused the break. With the six-to-eight week timetable, fantasy owners can't really depend on any production from Pence in April. Pence has played in 383 straight games, so that will come to an end. Gregor Blanco will see most of the left over playing time in right field.
Hunter Pence, RF, SFG3/5/2015 5:52:00 PM
Description: Giants outfielder Hunter Pence left Thursday's Spring Training game after taking a pitch in his hand during an at-bat.
Insight: Pence took his base and then left the field. Hopefully the injury is not serious. Pence has been as reliable as they come for fantasy owners, playing in every game the last two seasons.
Giancarlo Stanton, RF, MIA2/26/2015 2:46:00 PM
Description: Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton stood in the batters box with live pitching for the first time since he was struck in the face last September.
Insight: He'll wear protective gear this season. The slugger should be ready to go for Opening Day. Stanton batted .288 with 37 HR and 105 RBI in 145 games last season. A repeat seems likely.
