George Springer, RF, HOU5/6/2015 4:17:00 PM
Description: Astros right fielder George Springer is not in Houston's starting lineup on Wednesday versus the Rangers.

Description: Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton made things interesting at Nationals Park on Wednesday afternoon, hitting a three-run homer in the eighth to bring the Marlins within two runs.
Insight: Unfortunately for Miami, that was the final run of the game as the Marlins lost, 7-5. Stanton was 1-for-5 with three RBI and a run. He is hitting .257 with seven home runs and 27 RBI in 105 at-bats this season.
Jason Heyward, RF, STL5/6/2015 1:38:00 PM
Description: Cardinals right fielder Jason Heyward is off to a slow start this season, but fantasy owners should start him on Wednesday.
Insight: That's because he had good career numbers versus Cubs starter Jon Lester. Heyward is 7-for-12 with four doubles and a home run when facing Lester. On Opening Day this season, Heyward was 3-for-3 with two doubles against Lester. Start Heyward on Wednesday.
Curtis Granderson, RF, NYM5/6/2015 12:17:00 PM
Description: Mets right fielder Curtis Granderson is just 2-for-11 in his career against Orioles starter Ubaldo Jimenez.
Insight: That's good for a .182 average. Granderson is struggling once again with his average this season, hitting .236 and only had one home run and six RBI. If owners have a better option, sit Granderson on Wednesday.
Jayson Werth, RF, WASCold5/6/2015 12:08:00 PM
Description: Nationals right fielder Jayson Werth is not in the starting lineup for a second straight day and expects to return on Friday according to CSN Washington.

Marlon Byrd, RF, CIN5/5/2015 10:00:00 PM

Jose Bautista, RF, TOR5/5/2015 4:05:00 PM
Description: Blue Jays right fielder Jose Bautista is not in Tuesday's starting lineup.
Insight: Bautista is dealing with a sore right shoulder, but it isn't very serious and the fact he's 2-for-17 versus Michael Pineda is the more likely reason for his absence.
Jayson Werth, RF, WASCold5/5/2015 4:03:00 PM
Description: Nationals right fielder Jayson Werth is just 1-for-15 (.067) against Miami right-hander Mat Latos. Update: Not suprisingly, Werth is not in the starting lineup.

Shane Victorino, RF, BOS5/5/2015 10:08:00 AM
Description: Red Sox right fielder Shane Victorino is targeting a May 11 return.
Insight: Victorino spent much of last season on the DL and has started out 2015 the same way. Allen Craig and Brock Holt are likely to see a lot of time until then, particularly with Hanley Ramirez's health in question.
Steve Pearce, RF, BAL5/5/2015 10:00:00 AM
Description: Orioles 1B/OF Steve Pearce left Sunday's game with a stomach illness and is questionable for Tuesday's game against the NY Mets.
Insight: He will be fine. More important is finding last year's batting stroke. He's hitting just .183 this season after batting .293 with 21 home runs last season.

Description: Marlins outfielder Ichiro Suzuki had two hits and an RBI in the loss to the Nationals on Monday.

Description: Giants outfielder Hunter Pence is scheduled to take batting practice this week and could start a rehab assignment if that goes well according to CSN Bay Area.

Oswaldo Arcia, RF, MIN5/4/2015 4:36:00 PM
Description: Twins right fielder Oswaldo Arcia has been placed on the 15-day disabled list.
Insight: Arcia was in the middle of a six-game hitting streak which raised his average to .276, so this comes at a bad time. He quietly hit 20 homers last season and seems to be continuing to improve his offense.
Jorge Soler, RF, CHC5/4/2015 4:30:00 PM

Steve Pearce, RF, BALCold5/1/2015 4:56:00 PM
Description: Orioles 1B/OF Steve Pearce is starting at second base on Friday versus the Rays.
Insight: Pearce has not play an inning at second base since little league. Just kidding, that's not confirmed, but Pearce has not play at second in the majors or in the minors. Pearce, however, has been in a major slump to start the year, hitting .196/.288/.314 in 15 games.
Jason Heyward, RF, STL5/1/2015 10:02:00 AM

Ryan Braun, RF, MIL4/28/2015 3:35:00 PM
Description: Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun is 8-for-41 versus Reds starting pitcher Johnny Cueto.
Insight: That's good for a .195 average. Clearly, Braun hasn't figured out Cueto. Braun is also hitting just .226 in 62 at-bats this season. Braun was out of the lineup Monday and even though he will start on Tuesday, fantasy owners should sit him.
Dalton Pompey, RF, TOR4/28/2015 3:09:00 PM

Description: Cardinals right fielder Jason Heyward suffered a left groin injury Sunday and should be considered questionable for Monday. Update: Heyward is not in the lineup.

Ryan Braun, RF, MIL4/27/2015 3:53:00 PM
Description: Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun is a career .536 hitter (15-for-28) against Reds starter Jason Marquis. Update: Braun is not in Monday's starting lineup.

Jose Bautista, RF, TOR4/26/2015 11:22:00 AM
Description: Blue Jays right fielder Jose Bautista is not in the starting lineup versus the Rays on Sunday.
Insight: Fantasy owners might be better off because Bautista is just 2-for-24 in his career against Rays starter Chris Archer. Owners would still like Bautista to return soon. He hasn't played since Tuesday due to shoulder soreness.
Giancarlo Stanton, RF, MIA4/26/2015 11:15:00 AM
Description: Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton is just 2-for-13 with a double in his career versus Nationals starter Gio Gonzalez.
Insight: It is going to be hard to sit Stanton, who was 3-for-3 with a home run versus Stephen Strasburg on Saturday, but Stanton does not have much success in his career against Gonzalez. Plan your lineup accordingly.
Jay Bruce, RF, CIN4/26/2015 11:13:00 AM
Description: Reds outfielder Jay Bruce is not in Sunday's starting lineup versus the Cubs and Jake Arrieta.
Insight: Bruce is a career 2-for-11 with six strikeouts against Arrieta, so manager Bryan Price has elected to give Bruce the day off. Brennan Boesch is starting in right field for the Reds.

Description: Marlins outfielder Ichiro Suzuki broke the Japanese runs scored record on Saturday as he went 2-for-4 with a run versus the Nationals.
Insight: Suzuki scored on Adeiny Hechavarria's three-run homer in the eighth, which made it 1,310 runs in his major league career. Including his 658 runs in Japan, Ichiro has scored 1,968 times in professional base, which is more than any other Japanese player. At 41-year-old, though, he is hardly fantasy relevant. Suzuki is hitting .286 with one RBI and no homers in 42 at-bats.
Giancarlo Stanton, RF, MIA4/25/2015 7:45:00 PM
Description: Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton was 3-for-3 with a double and home run in the, 8-0, victory over the Nationals on Saturday.
Insight: Stanton came into the game with three career home runs off Stephen Strasburg, so hopefully owners listened to our advice to keep Stanton in the lineup. Stanton didn't hit the homer until the eighth, so it wasn't against Strasburg, but owners will take a single and double off the Nationals right-hander. Stanton is hitting .262 with five home runs and 16 RBI this season.
George Springer, RF, HOU4/25/2015 7:41:00 PM
Description: Astros right fielder George Springer was 2-for-5 with a solo home run in the, 9-3, victory over the Athletics on Saturday.

Description: Athletics outfielder Josh Reddick was 2-for-2 with two walks and a run in the, 9-3, loss to the Astros on Saturday.

Shane Victorino, RF, BOS4/25/2015 6:07:00 PM
Description: Red Sox right fielder Shane Victorino is heading to the 15-day disabled list with a hamstring strain according to Roto World.
Insight: Here we go again. Victorino spent much of last season on the DL and is going there just three weeks into the 2015 season. With Rusney Castillo also injured, Allen Craig and Daniel Nava will share time in right field.

Giancarlo Stanton, RF, MIA4/25/2015 11:03:00 AM
Description: Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton is a career .357 hitter (10-for-28) with three home runs versus Nationals ace Stephen Strasburg.
Insight: No player has more homers versus Strasburg (Freddie Freeman also has three). Stanton has four homers in his last eight games, though he's batting just .226 on the season. Michael Morse doesn't appear to be the protection Stanton needs behind him in the lineup.
Josh Reddick, RF, OAKHot4/25/2015 11:01:00 AM
Description: Athletics outfielder Josh Reddick has a favorable matchup versus Houston starter Scott Feldman on Saturday.
Insight: Reddick, who is off to a fast start batting .325 this season, is 6-for-22 with three homers and two doubles against Feldman over their careers.
Curtis Granderson, RF, NYM4/25/2015 10:58:00 AM
Description: It would not be a huge surprise if Mets right fielder Curtis Granderson was not in Saturday's starting lineup against the Yankees C.C. Sabathia.

Jay Bruce, RF, CIN4/25/2015 10:40:00 AM
Description: Reds outfielder Jay Bruce is not in Saturday's starting lineup versus the Cubs and Jake Arrieta.

Marlon Byrd, RF, CIN4/23/2015 4:14:00 PM
Description: Reds right fielder Marlon Byrd his his first homer with the team on Thursday afternoon.
Insight: Byrd has struggled early on, but hopefully this will get him going. It was his only hit in three at-bats, but the home run was a two-run shot. He is hitting just .127 with six RBIs in total.
Giancarlo Stanton, RF, MIAHot4/23/2015 4:03:00 PM
Description: Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton didn't hit a tape-measure home run on Thursday, just a line drive bullet that left the field in a heartbeat.
Insight: Stanton's home run was the fourth of the season and fourth in the last seven games. Perhaps pitching around him while he's this hot would be a good idea.
Gregory Polanco, RF, PITHot4/23/2015 4:00:00 PM
Description: Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco added three more hits on Thursday afternoon and officially gets the "hot" moniker.
Insight: Polanco is 12-for-25 (.480) since Friday night and is now batting .300 with six RBIs on the season.
