Description: Marlins first baseman Michael Morse apparently suffered a setback and will no be activated anytime soon.
Insight: Morse will go back to Miami to be checked out. He had been slumping for most of the season (.211, 2 HR, 10 RBI), but the Marlins could use a big bat in the lineup for the next few weeks with Giancarlo Stanton sidelined.

Description: Brewers outfielder Khris Davis (torn meniscus) is expected to begin his rehab assignment on Wednesday.
Insight: Davis wasn't hitting very well. .250 with five homers and 16 RBU, but he has the potential to be a 25 home run guy. The bad news, however, is that Gerardo Parra (.294, 5 HR, 21 RBI, 30 runs, 5 SB) has played well while Davis was gone and this could be a shared situation.

Description: Dodgers left fielder Carl Crawford will begin his rehab assignment on tuesday at High-A Rancho Cucamonga.
Insight: Crawford hasn't played since April 27 and given his injury history should need a lot of rehabbing before he's ready to play for the Dodgers. Plus, there really isn't a spot for him with Andre Ethier, Joc Pederson and Yasiel Puig all healthy.

Insight: With Adrian Beltre already back on the field, the return of Hamilton could squeeze Joey Gallo's opportunities. Hamitlon is batting .273 with two homers in seven games.

Insight: The game was picked up in the seventh inning, and ended up going extras. In an uneventful ending, Duda hit a walk-off fielder's choice to give New York the win over the Reds.

Insight: Harper hasn't played since Wednesday due to a right hamstring strain. Washington has had no problems without him, winning seven straight. It will be interesting to see if the Nationals let Harper play the second game as well, but owners should expect Washington to be cautious with their superstar.

Insight: Upton broke a, 2-2, scoreless tie with his two-run blast in the fifth. He also had a single. and a walk. Upton is hitting .276 with 14 home runs and 46 RBI in 279 at-bats this season.

Description: Marlins left fielder Christian Yelich went 4-for-4 with a run scored in the, 3-2, victory over the Dodgers on Saturday.
Insight: Yelich scored on an error in the first inning to tie the game at one. Despite the four hits, Yelich is still only batting .242. He also has 10 extra-base hits and 15 RBI in 211 at-bats this year.

Description: Yankees left fielder Brett Gardner continued his fantastic season, getting three more hits on Saturday versus the Astros.
Insight: Gardner is having a June to remember, hitting .330 with five home runs, 17 RBI and 24 runs. Since June 18, Gardner is hitting .500 with 10 extra-base hits, 15 runs and 10 RBI. For the season, the outfielder is slashing .300/.371/.494 with 31 extra-base hits, 38 RBI and 58 runs.

Description: Pirates outfielder Starling Marte went 3-for-4 with three runs and an RBI in the, 8-4, victory over the Braves on Saturday.
Insight: Marte drove in the first run of the game on a single in the first and then scored later in the inning. Marte also stole home in the fifth while Pedro Alvarez got caught in a rundown after a delayed steal and scored on a double in the seventh. Marte had a scary moment when trying to steal second base in the seventh when he slide head first and did a flip over his head because the dirt was too hard due to the rain. Marte got laughing and was ok.

Insight: Unfortunately, 13 of the 14 hits are singles, but that's still worth a 1.074 OPS. Cabrera is batting .248 with just one home run and 24 RBI this season. Long-term his loss of power is forcing fantasy owners to look elsewhere, but on Friday he should be worth a play.

Insight: Cespedes is a career 8-for-12 (.667) with two doubles and four hoime runs for a stunning 2.526 OPS. He's hitting .305 with 10 home runs and 41 RBI this season.

Insight: Choo has still not been able to find the batting stroke he left in Cincinnati. He's hitting just .233 with eight homers, 32 RBI, 32 runs and a .708 OPS. Perhaps this favorable matchup will get him going.

Insight: McClendon said "Cruz's pelvic bone briefly popped out of place, but that trainers had popped it back shortly thereafter." We await further word. Cruz was a fantasy stud at the beginning of the season, but not so much lately. He is batting .313 with 19 homers and 43 RBI this season, but just one home run in his last 23 games.

Description: Tigers outfielder Yoenis Cespedes was 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs in the, 8-5, victory over the Indians on Monday.
Insight: Miguel Cabrera has killed Indians pitching this season, so Cleveland did there best to pitch around him. Cespedes made them pay with a solo home run, RBI-double and sacrifice fly. Cespedes is hitting .308 with 10 home runs and 39 RBI in 266 at-bats this season.

Insight: Gardner was 4-for-4 with a walk, three RBI and two runs. He scored the Yankees first run of the game, and then hit a three-run homer in the fourth. Gardner is on fire, getting 11 hits, including two home runs, a double and triple in his last four games. He is hitting .290 with eight home runs, 36 RBI and 51 runs in 248 at-bats this season.

Insight: That's what manager Don Mattingly said on Monday. Crawford was starting in left field before his injury, but Andre Ethier has taken over and is slashing .275/.353/.487. Crawford is still more than two days away from returning anyway, but this is something to consider for his owners. He might not be seeing consistent at-bats right when he returns.

Insight: Gardner hit the go-ahead home run off Justin Verlander in the fifth that gave the Yankees the lead for good. The next time he was on base, Gardner scored on a wild pitch that was just a few feet from Tigers catcher Bryan Holaday, but Gardner read it perfectly and used his speed to score. For good measure, Gardner added an RBI on a single in the eighth.

Insight: Harper was winding up for a big throw to the plate when it looked like his knee gave out and his ankle turned. The Nationals have a team policy to not release any injury information during games, so fantasy owners will have to hold their breathes until we get more information after the game or tomorrow morning.
