Overall, Crawford is batting .291 with seven home runs and 41 RBI and 51 runs scored in 320 at-bats this season, but as usual can't stay healthy.

Matt Holliday, LF, STL9/19/2014 11:04:00 PM
Description: Cardinals left fielder Matt Holliday hit a solo home run in the bottom of the first as the Cardinals held on to beat the Reds, 2-1, on Friday.
Insight: Right fielder Randal Grichuk and Holliday went back-to-back in the bottom of the first to give St. Louis an early, 2-0, lead. The runs proved to be enough for starter John Lackey, who pitched seven and 2/3 innings and allowed one run. Description: Arizona outfielder Mark Trumbo is dealing with a back issue, but if he's in Friday's starting lineup he'll be a solid fantasy option.
Insight: Trumbo is 4-for-9 with three homers and six RBI against Colorado starter Jordan Lyles. It's been a completely forgettable season for Trumo who spent much of the time on the disabled list and is batting .235 with nine home runs and 49 RBI.

Carl Crawford, LF, LOS9/19/2014 11:46:00 AM
Description: Dodgers left fielder Carl Crawford is hitless in eight at bats versus Cubs starter Edwin Jackson.
Insight: Crawford has been hot over the past two weeks, batting .452 covering the past 11 games, but this matchup isn't likely to help those numbers. Overall, Crawford is batting .291 with seven home runs and 41 RBI and 51 runs scored in 320 at-bats this season, but as usual can't stay healthy.

Description: Texas outfielder Jake Smolinski went 4-for-5 with a RBI and run against Oakland on Thursday.

Description: Cardinals left fielder Matt Holliday has 10 hits in his career against Brewers pitcher Kyle Lohse.
Insight: Holliday is 10-for-28 with a home run and four RBI off Lohse. The Cardinals could be due for a big day offensively as seven players, with at least five at-bats, are hitting above .500 against Lohse in their careers. Make sure Holliday is in your lineup.

Ryan Ludwick, LF, CIN9/15/2014 4:37:00 PM
Description: Cincinnati outfielder Ryan Ludwick is not in the starting lineup Monday night versus the Cubs.
Insight: Ludwick's playing time has been sporadic of late, but he has hit well over the past 14 days (7-for-20, with 1 HR and 3 RBI). His inconsisent playing time, makes for a tough start for fantasy owners moving forward. Jason Bourgeois gets the nod in left field tonight.

Description: Royals left fielder Alex Gordon is just a .172 career hitter (5-for-29) versus White Sox left-hander John Danks.

Description: Orioles left fielder Nelson Cruz went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk in the 5-0 victory over the Yankees on Friday.

Description: Orioles left fielder Nelson Cruz is just a .158 hitter (3-for-19) against Yankees right-hander Brandon McCarthy.
Insight: Cruz is on a modest five game hitting streak which included a teo-homer, seven RBI day last Saturday. Considering the modest expectations at the beginning of the season after the suspension, he production has been outstanding (39 HR, 101 RBI, .860 OPS). Description: Royals left fielder Alex Gordon is a career .455 hitter (5-for-11) against Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz.
