Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Milton Doyle led the way with 28 points, as the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers used a strong second half to down the Drake Bulldogs, 70-60, in a Missouri Valley Conference bout at Gentile Arena.

Doyle shot 10-of-17 from the field, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range for Loyola (7-10, 1-4 MVC), which had lost five of its previous six. Devon Turk came off the bench to score 14, while Christian Thomas and Jeff White each netted 10.

For Drake (10-7, 1-4), losers of four in a row, Richard Carter tallied 19 points and five assists, Aaron Hawley poured in 12 points and Jacob Enevold grabbed 11 rebounds.

Drake shot 46.2 percent from the field in the first half, while Loyola wasn't far behind at 42.9 percent. The Ramblers trailed for most of the opening stanza, but Doyle drained a jumper with four seconds left to tie the game heading into halftime, 32-32.

The Bulldogs took control early in the second half, building a lead as big as six, but the Ramblers turned the tables by ripping off a 25-5 run down the stretch to pull away.

Drake committed just one more turnover (10) than Loyola (nine), but the Ramblers outscored the Bulldogs in points off takeaways, 15-5.
