In the second half it was time for the Gaels to have their issues from the field, hitting on just 8-of-26, including 3-of-12 on the perimeter, which allowed GaTech to battle back and assume the lead, en route to the nine-point win.
Saint Mary's won the battle of the boards by a 38-26 margin, but turning the ball over 21 times is what cost the team the most.
