GAME NOTES: The Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks step into Carver Arena to take on the Bradley Braves in a non-league clash.

UTM comes into the contest with a 2-3 mark and looking to build on Tuesday's 92-58 win over Lyon College. That game wrapped up a three-game homestand for the Skyhawks, who will now play five of their next six on the road. Following this tilt, they'll head to Memphis on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Bradley returns home after splitting a two-game road swing. After topping IUPUI last Saturday, the Braves were dealt an 82-63 setback at South Florida on Tuesday. They'll play at Central Michigan on Wednesday before coming back to Peoria for four straight.

Bradley has won all three meetings in the head-to-head series, including an 81-75 triumph at UTM on Feb. 19, 2011.

UTM led from wire to wire against NAIA school Lyon. Mike Liabo started his first game since the season-opener and led four Skyhawks in double figures with a season-high 25 points. Liabo buried a career-best five 3-pointers in just 25 minutes of floor time. Freshman Dee Oldham (eight points) showed well in his first start, notching six assists and four steals. Overall, UTM shot 53.2 percent from the floor, including a 9-of-17 effort from beyond the arc. Through five games, the team boasts five different players averaging double figures. Myles Taylor leads the way with 16.0 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, as he is shooting a healthy 52 percent from the floor. Liabo and Bobby Jones have knocked down a combined 22-of-57 threes (.386).

Bradley has held the opposition to 42.3-percent shooting on field goal attempts inside the arc, but foes are shooting at a 40.2-percent clip from three-point range against the Braves. Tyshon Pickett leads the way, averaging a team-best 14.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per tilt. A 56.4-percent shooter from the floor, Pickett has also blocked five shots and notched six steals through four games. Walt Lemon, Jr. (12.5 ppg), Jake Eastman (10.8 ppg) and Will Egolf (10.3 ppg) round out the team's double-digit scorers. Earlier this week against USF, Pickett tallied 13 points, while Egolf scored 12 and Eastman finished with 11. However, the Braves shot just 35.5 percent from the floor and the Bulls shot 51.9 percent in addition to a 42-32 rebounding edge.

UTM took advantage of a favorable matchup its last time out. While the Skyhawks have the long-range shooting to keep this one tight, Bradley has the inside-out game to counter, especially on its home court.

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Bradley 75, Tennessee-Martin 69
