"I thought we came out with a different resolve. We wanted to make sure we got
control of this game and put it away," Pacers forward David West said.
West scored 25 points to lead the Pacers. Roy Hibbert deposited a 14-point,
12-rebound double-double and also added four blocks for the Pacers, who

the Mavericks struggled mightily on the defensive end as their season-high win
streak was halted. Monta Ellis also had 16 points along with seven assists in
"Defensively, we had been doing a good job, but we gave up too many open shots
[tonight] and we just weren't there mentally," Mavericks guard Devin Harris
The Bobcats shot an impressive 54.9 percent en route to only its second win in
19 lifetime meetings with Dallas.
Nowitzki's injury is the biggest story for the Mavs. He left early in the
second quarter, returned after the half and scored 14 of his 16 points.
"Just went back...and got loose there pretty good in the second half, but it
really didn't matter," Nowitzki said.
The Pacers have won three straight against the Mavericks and two in a row as
the host. The Mavs are 6-4 in their last 10 against Indiana.
