Wichita's Ten Eyck named MISL Player of Week
Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - Wichita Wings forward Kevin Ten Eyck was named the Major Indoor Soccer League's Player of the Week for Week 18 on Tuesday.
Ten Eyck had 10 points in two games, including a hat trick in the Wings' final game of the season. Wichita lost to the Baltimore Blast, 18-12, on Friday, and edged the Norfolk SharX, 13-11, on Sunday.
Baltimore edged the Syracuse Silver Knights, 15-13, in the other match on the final day of the regular season Sunday.
The postseason begins this week with the Milwaukee Wave hosting the Missouri Comets in Game 1 of their Central Finals on Friday, and Baltimore hosting the Rochester Lancers in Game 1 of the Eastern Finals on Saturday.
