Peralta's four goals lead Santos over San Luis

Torreon, Mexico (Sports Network) - Oribe Peralta scored four goals as Santos snapped a three-match slide with a 5-2 win over San Luis in Mexico's Clausura on Saturday.

Peralta scored twice inside 18 minutes as Santos took an early lead and, after Facundo Pereyra and Wilmer Aguirre scored for 10-man San Luis, followed a goal from teammate Hercules Gomez with two more in the final 18 minutes.

Santos had two losses and a draw in its last three, but used the win to remain within three points of first-place Morelia.

Rafael Marquez Lugo, Miguel Sabah and Edgar Lugo scored for Morelia as it won its fifth straight, 3-0 over last-place Queretaro on Saturday.

Tigres remained two points off the summit as Lucas Lobos scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Atlante on Saturday that moved its unbeaten streak to six.

In Saturday's other matches, Christian Gimenez scored twice as Cruz Azul edged Monterrey 4-3 to snap a three-match winless streak, and Atlas and Pachuca tied 0-0.

On Sunday, Efrain Velarde and Jose Garcia Fernandez scored as UNAM snapped a six-game winless skid with a 2-0 win at Toluca, Daniel Montenegro and Lugiani Gallardo Rodriguez scored as America climbed to second with a 2-0 win over Jaguares and Jorge Enriquez scored the match-winner to help Guadalajara edge Puebla 2-1.

Jose Sand and Egidio Arevalo scored on Friday as Tijuana started the week with a 2-0 win at U.A.G. to remain within four points of the top after nine games.
