Ontiveros leads Pachuca past Puebla

Pachuca, Mexico (Sports Network) - Pachuca grabbed its first win of the season on Saturday as Marco Bueno Ontiveros scored two goals in the final 15 minutes of a 3-1 win over Puebla.

The two sides traded goals in the first half and entered the 75th minute of the contest level at 1-1.

However, Ontiveros broke the deadlock 15 minutes from time and sealed the win with a goal in the 90th minute to give his side four points from its first two games this term.

Also on Saturday, Jaguares handed Guadalajara a 3-1 defeat as goals from Jorge Marcelo Rodriguez and Jackson Martinez in the second half propelled Jaguares to three points.

Juninho's goal in the 40th minute was enough for Tigres to grab a 1-0 win over Queretaro, Tijuana topped Monterrey 1-0 on a goal from Javier Gandolfi, Cruz Azul dealt Atlas a 2-0 home defeat and Santos topped Atlante 2-1 with Oribe Peralta Morones providing the winning goal.

On Friday, goals from Alfredo Moreno and Wilmer Aguirre gave San Luis a 2-0 win over U.A.G., the second straight victory to start the campaign for San Luis, while Sunday's matches saw UNAM handle Morelia 3-0 and America claim a 1-1 draw with Toluca as Vicente Vuoso converted a penalty kick five minutes from time.
