Grosskreutz signs Dortmund extension

Dortmund, Germany (Sports Network) - Borussia Dortmund announced Tuesday that Kevin Grosskreutz has signed a contract extension with the club, keeping him at Signal Iduna Park until 2016.

Grosskreutz becomes the latest member of Jurgen Klopp's side to commit his future to the club after Neven Subotic, Sven Bender, Lukasz Piszczek, Jakub Blaszczykowski and Mario Gotze all signed recent long-term extensions with the reigning Bundesliga champions.

"I am happy playing for the Blacks and Yellows," said the 24-year-old. "Borussia Dortmund was always my priority and I will give everything I have got to be successful with this club. I was, I am and I remain a Borussian."
