Hibernian settles for draw with Hearts

Edinburgh, Scotland (Sports Network) - Hibernian and Hearts played out a 0-0 draw at Easter Road Stadium on Sunday in a battle of Edinburgh rivals, but the visitors will consider themselves fortunate.

Hibernian's Leigh Griffiths appeared to give his team the lead 13 minutes from time with a free kick that struck the underside of the crossbar and bounced over the goal line. However, the referee failed to give the goal and both sides left the ground with a point.

Hearts goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald did well to keep out a close-range effort from Hibernian's Scott Robertson in the first half, while the best opportunity for Hearts came in the second half when Andy Webster's volley was kept out by a good stop from goalkeeper Ben Williams.
