Ukrainian kicked out for doping
Igor Razoronov from the Ukraine has been kicked out of the Beijing Games.
Beijing, China (Sports Network) - The International Olympic Committee announced Saturday that weightlifter Igor Razoronov from the Ukraine has been kicked out of the Beijing Games for a doping violation.

The 38-year-old Razoronov, who finished sixth in the 105kg weightlifting event, gave another black mark to the Ukraine.

Earlier Saturday, the results of the women's heptathlon were modified because Lyudmila Blonska tested positive for the substance methyltestosterone. Blonska was the original silver medalist.

In a laboratory test, it was found Razoronov had nandrolone in his body more than four times (12.6 ng/ml) the allowable amount (2.9 ng/ml).

Nina Umanets, the Chef de Mission of the Ukrainian Olympic Committee, spoke by phone to Razoronov, who said that he had not taken any prohibited substance.
