London, England (Sports Network) - Defending gold medalist France easily defeated Argentina in men's handball on Tuesday, while Sweden dealt Great Britain its second rout in as many games.
The French team posted a 32-20 win over Argentina after defeating Britain by a 44-15 score in its Group A opener. Sweden beat up on the British on Tuesday, handing the Olympic hosts a 41-19 defeat.
Iceland, the silver medalist four years ago in Beijing, rounded out Group A action with a 32-22 win over Tunisia.
France, Iceland and Sweden are all undefeated at 2-0.
In Group B, Hungary beat South Korea, 22-19, Croatia downed Serbia, 31-22, and Denmark edged Spain, 24-23.
