London, England (Sports Network) - Australian cyclist Cadel Evans has been ruled out of the time trial because of fatigue.
The Australian Olympic Committee announced on Twitter that doctors ruled Evans out of Wednesday's event. His withdrawal means Michael Rogers will be the country's lone time trial participant.
Evans won the Tour de France in 2011 with a strong time trial, but struggled in the same discipline at this year's Tour, where he finished seventh.
