NHL Game Summary - Philadelphia at NY Islanders

Uniondale, NY (Sports Network) - Chris Campoli scored the game-winner midway through the third period to lift the New York Islanders past the reeling Philadelphia Flyers, 4-2, at Nassau Coliseum.
Mark Parrish and Jason Blake registered a goal and an assist apiece and Rick DiPietro made 19 saves for the Isles, who have won three of their last four games.
Petr Nedved and Mike Knuble scored the Flyers' goals and Antero Niittymaki stopped 22 shots for Philadelphia, which has lost four straight games.
Tied 2-2 midway through the third period, New York regained the lead while on a two-man advantage. Campoli took a slap shot from the right point that caromed off Flyers' defenseman Derian Hatcher before snaking through Niittymaki's five hole for a 3-2 lead. Trent Hunter initially got credit for seemingly deflecting Campoli's shot past Niittymaki.
The Flyers pulled Niittymaki with under 50 seconds to play but Hunter scored in the empty net with 2.5 ticks left to seal the win for New York.
Philadelphia drew first blood with 4:22 left in the opening frame while on the power play after Nedved wheeled and one-timed a loose puck from inside the left circle over a sprawling DiPietro.
New York tied the game midway through the second period while on the man advantage after Blake banked a backhand shot off of Niittymaki and into the net to make it 1-1.
The Islanders took their first lead of the game with 58.9 seconds left in the middle stanza after Parrish beat Niittymaki stick side from the slot near the left circle for a 2-1 advantage.
The Flyers netted the equalizer 7:38 into the third period after Knuble beat DiPietro with a wrist shot from below the right circle.
Before the game, the Islanders honored members of the 1979-80 Stanley Cup champions -- the club that began the team's dynasty of the early '80s. That season, the Islanders defeated the Flyers in six games to capture the Cup...New York outshot Philadelphia 19-6 in the second period and 26-21 for the game...The Isles finished 2-for-7 on the man advantage, while the Flyers finished 1-for-6.
