NHL Game Summary - Tampa Bay at Nashville

Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - David Legwand posted a goal and one assist to pace a balanced scoring attack, as Nashville held on to best Tampa Bay, 7-4, at Sommet Center.
Patric Hornqvist also had a score and a helper for the Predators, who have won four of five and posted a season-high for goals in a game.
Dam Hamhuis, Martin Erat, Jerred Smithson, Ryan Jones and J.P. Dumont also lit the lamp while Pekka Rinne stopped 30 shots for the win.
Nick Spaling, a second-round draft pick of the Predators in 2007, picked up his first point in his NHL debut, assisting on Jones' goal in the second period.
"I think that was a fast team tonight, a lot of speed by their team," said Spaling. "They put a lot of pressure on us. I got used to it at the end."
Vincent Lecavalier posted two goals and one assist for the Lightning, who fell for the fifth straight time and have dropped nine of 10.
Steven Stamkos and Kurtis Foster also scored for Tampa, which saw Mike Smith pick up the loss in relief after yielding three goals on 13 shots. Starter Antero Niitymaki allowed four goals on 14 shots through 32-plus minutes.
"I think we have to get better sealing off our net," said Lightning head coach Rich Tocchet. "There are two or three times where we didn't seal."
Nashville cruised to victory thanks to a five-goal second period which saw the home team assume a 6-2 edge.
Legwand tied the game at 1:12, then Jones put the Preds ahead less than three minutes in.
Hornqvist boosted the lead to 4-2 at 12:22 and chased Niittymaki. Smith entered the game and Dumont tallied at 12:50, before Hamhuis closed out the burst at 16:09.
The Lightning regrouped for the final period, coming within 6-3 on Foster's power-play marker at 1:52, then cut their deficit to two on Lecavalier's score at 12:19, but got no closer.
Erat restored a three-goal edge at 7-4 almost a minute and a half later.
Smithson's tally less than seven minutes into the game gave the Preds a 1-0 lead, but Stamkos equalized for the Bolts at 11:35.
Lecavalier's power-play goal with 3 1/2 minutes left in the first staked Tampa to a 2-1 edge after one.
Nashville has tallied 22 goals over the last five contests...Tampa Bay had won the four prior meetings dating back to February, 2004...The Preds picked up their first win over the Bolts since a 3-2 decision on January 25, 2003.
