Description: Browns wideout Josh Gordon set a team record for receiving yards in a season by racking up 151 yards through the air Sunday in a one-point loss to New England.
Insight: Gordon has been the best receiver in football over the last month, catching at least 125 yards worth of passes in each of his last four contests. Even superstar corner Aqib Talib was no match for Gordon on Sunday. Don't expect Gordon to slow down next week against Chicago.

Hot12/1/2013 4:56:00 PM
Description: Browns receiver Josh Gordon became the first player in NFL history to have back-to-back 200-yard receiving games Sunday against Jacksonville.
Insight: Gordon dominated the Jaguars for 261 yards and two touchdowns on 10 catches, giving him 29 catches, 623 yards and four touchdowns on 47 targets over the last three games. Despite sitting the first two games due to a suspension, Gordon has recorded 1,249 receiving yards, second in the NFL to Calvin Johnson.

Hot12/1/2013 3:35:00 PM
Description: Browns receiver Josh Gordon went to the locker room in the third quarter Sunday against Jacksonville due to a head injury but he later returned.
Insight: Gordon has absolutely exploded over the last three games so it's good to see him back in there so soon after taking a huge hit.

Hot12/1/2013 3:14:00 PM
Description: Browns receiver Josh Gordon went to the locker room in the third quarter Sunday against Jacksonville due to a head injury.
Insight: Gordon caught seven passes for 149 yards and a touchdown prior to exiting. He has absolutely exploded over the last three games and would be a huge loss for fantasy owners heading into the playoffs.

Hot11/24/2013 6:12:00 PM
Description: Browns receiver Josh Gordon had a career day Sunday versus Pittsburgh.
Insight: Gordon reeled in 14 catches for a career-high 237 yards. The yardage total was the highest in team history. The 22-year-old is quickly approaching must-start status.

11/17/2013 5:21:00 PM
Description: Cleveland wideout Josh Gordon had his fourth game this season of at least 125 yards Sunday against the Bengals.
Insight: The big-play receiver caught a 74-yard bomb for a touchdown and finished with five catches for 125 yards on 15 targets. He's averaging 18.8 yards per reception this season. He has 751 yards and four touchdowns in just eight games.

10/13/2013 6:36:00 PM
Description: Cleveland wideout Josh Gordon had his second 100-yard game of the season Sunday against the Lions.
Insight: Gordon (25 receptions, 429 yards, 2 TD this season) hauled in seven of his nine targets from quarterback Brandon Weeden. The second-year receiver appears to be well on his way to his first 1,000-yard season.

9/27/2013 5:51:00 PM
Description: Browns receiver Josh Gordon is a must-start in Week 4 given Cincinnati's injuries in the secondary.
Insight: Gordon, who hauled in 10 catches for 146 yards and a touchdown in his 2013 debut following a two-game suspension, was expected to face a tough matchup in Bengals shutdown cornerback Leon Hall. However, Hall, CB Dre Kirkpatrick and S Reggie Nelson are all doubtful for Week 4.

9/26/2013 11:40:00 AM
Description: According to the Akron Beacon-Journal, Browns receiver Josh Gordon said coach Rob Chudzinski told him the team does not plan to trade him.
Insight: After missing the first two games due to a suspension, Gordon caught 10 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown on 19 targets Sunday against the Vikings, but the Browns current regime is not the one that picked him in the second round of the 2012 supplemental draft. In fact, current Browns GM Mike Lombardi criticized the selection as a "waste" when he was an analyst for the NFL Network. If the Browns receive an offer they like, they won't hesitate to move the troubled Gordon, who is one infraction away from a season-long suspension.

9/22/2013 6:02:00 PM
Description: Josh Gordon thrived in his return to the lineup Sunday versus the Vikings.
Insight: The second-year Browns wideout tortured Minnesota all day, finishing with 146 yards on ten catches. Gordon was a late-round flier in most drafts because of his two-game suspension but those who kept him have to be pleased with the results so far.

9/22/2013 11:18:00 AM
Description: ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Browns are willing to trade Josh Gordon and Greg Little.
Insight: The new Browns regime is trying to burn down everything the previous group built in a short time. As an analyst for the NFL Network, new Browns VP of player personnel Mike Lombardi criticized Cleveland's selection of Gordon in the second round of the 2012 supplemental draft, so it's not surprising that he is putting the talented but troubled receiver on the block. As for Greg Little, he has the worst hands of any receiver in the NFL and isn't likely to draw much interest.

9/16/2013 1:46:00 PM
Description: Browns receiver Josh Gordon, who was for suspended two games for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy, is now eligible to return to the field for Week 3 versus Minnesota.
Insight: The second-year receiver has the talent to be a solid fantasy player but will have to grow up. He caught 50 balls for 805 yards and five TDs last season.

7/24/2013 3:20:00 PM
Description: Browns receiver Josh Gordon, who has been suspended two games for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy, won't get many more chances to prove he can be a reliable part of the team, according to a Mary Kay Cabot report.
Insight: Gordon has the talent to be a solid fantasy player and Browns' teammate, but he'll have to show the team he's matured both on and off the field. Gordon tested positive for marijuana multiple times in college and now is missing the first two games this season because of a positive codeine test. Fantasy owners shouldn't want to gamble a high or even middle pick for a player with this kind of track record.

6/7/2013 5:32:00 PM
Description: Browns receiver Josh Gordon has been suspended two games for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy, according to Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland.com. Gordon attributed his positive drug test to cough syrup that contained codeine, a substance the NFL prohibits.
Insight: He said he took the medicine when he had strep throat in February. Gordon has a history with drugs, as he was kicked off both the Baylor and Utah football teams for testing positive for marijuana. He entered the supplemental draft last summer and ended up catching 50 passes for 805 yards and five touchdowns. He's still expected to serve as Brandon Weeden's No. 1 receiver when he returns in Week 3.

12/30/2012 2:48:00 PM
Description: Cleveland receiver Josh Gordon injured his ankle in the second quarter of Sunday's game against Pittsburgh and will not return.
Insight: He'll end the season with 805 receiving yards, second-most among NFL rookies (Justin Blackmon has 857 and counting), though he could be passed by T.Y. Hilton, who has 791 and is still playing Sunday.

12/9/2012 7:45:00 PM
Description: Browns rookie wide receiver Josh Gordon caught eight passes on 12 targets for 86 yards Sunday against the Chiefs.
Insight: Gordon has emerged as Brandon Weeden's No. 1 weapon in the passing game. The rookie has hauled in 35 catches for 639 yards and five touchdowns over the last nine games and has a favorable matchup against Washington in Week 15.

10/22/2012 12:04:00 PM
Description: Browns rookie wide receiver Josh Gordon came down with another touchdown on Sunday, his fourth in his last three games.
Insight: Gordon only caught two of the 10 passes Brandon Weeden threw to him and finished with 59 yards, way down from the 99 he racked up a week earlier against Cincinnati. Still, his knack for scoring touchdowns and Cleveland's complete lack of other options in the receiving game make Gordon a useful fantasy option.

Hot10/18/2012 10:56:00 AM
Description: According to the Akron Beacon Journal, Browns coach Pat Shurmur said rookie receiver Josh Gordon will still have a prominent role in the offense in Week 7 even though Mohamed Massaquoi and Travis Benjamin could return from injuries this week.
Insight: As he should. The Browns have been desperate for playmakers on the outside since Braylon Edwards was traded. Greg Little has dropped too many balls to be that guy but Gordon has developed chemistry downfield with fellow rookie Brandon Weeden. Consider Gordon a WR3 this week in deeper leagues with six teams on a bye and Cleveland going up against the Indianapolis Colts.

Hot10/14/2012 5:54:00 PM
Description: Browns receiver Josh Gordon caught three passes for 99 yards and a touchdown Sunday in a win versus Cincinnati.
Insight: The rookie has three touchdowns in his last two games. Gordon has gotten more playing time recently because of injuries to Travis Benjamin and Mohamed Massaquoi.

8/17/2012 11:25:00 AM
Description: Cleveland Browns rookie receiver Josh Gordon started opposite Greg Little last night with Mohamed Massaquoi sidelined by a concussion. He had two receptions for 38 yards, but was up and down as rookies frequently are.
Insight: Gordon appears to be in line for the No. 3 receiver spot. The former Baylor wideout caught 42 balls for 714 yards and seven scores in 2010, but was dismissed from the team in 2011 due to off-field issues.
