Description: The Redskins have released wideout Devery Henderson.
Insight: The Redskins don't have the strongest receiving corps so Henderson's release isn't a good sign for him to catch on elsewhere. Henderson had a quiet season for New Orleans in 2012 (22 passes for 316 yards and one touchdown), but could seek another shot with the Saints after they lost No. 3 wideout Joe Morgan to a knee injury.

Description: The Redskins added wideout Devery Henderson to their roster on Wednesday.
Insight: The Redskins don't have the strongest receiving corps so Henderson has a good chance to make the team. Henderson had a quiet season for New Orleans in 2012. He caught only 22 passes for 316 yards and one touchdown.

9/19/2012 3:20:00 PM
Description: Saints wideout Devery Henderson, who missed the Week 2 game with a concussion, was back at practice on Wednesday, according to a WWLTV Sports report.
Insight: The Saints have Lance Moore and don't miss much when Henderson is out, but his return will put a damprer on Moore owners. Moore has eight catches for 150 yards and a touchdown this season. Henderson caught one ball for 11 yards in the season opener.

9/14/2012 2:28:00 PM
Description: Saints wideout Devery Henderson left Sunday's game after a helmet-to-helmet collision with Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall and he will miss Sunday's game against Carolina.
Insight: The Saints plugged in Lance Moore (6-120-1) last week. He's a Drew Brees favorite and his fantasy value should rise to starter status.

9/11/2012 2:45:00 PM
Description: Saints wideout Devery Henderson left Sunday's game after a helmet-to-helmet collision with Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Carolina.
Insight: Henderson was able to walk off the field on his own power, but concussions are a sensative area these days. The Saints can easily plug in Lance Moore who is a Drew Brees favorite.

9/9/2012 3:38:00 PM
Description: Saints wideout Devery Henderson left Sunday's game after a helmet-to-helmet collision with Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall.
Insight: Henderson was able to walk off the field on his own power, which is always a good sign. He'll head back to the locker room where he is likely to undergo concussion testing. Henderson had one catch for 11 yards before the injury. It's doubtful he'll be able to return before the end of the game.

9/9/2011 8:39:00 AM
Description: Devery Henderson led the Saints with 100 yards on six catches and nine targets in the season-opening loss to the Packers
Insight: Talk about taking advantage of Lance Moore being out and was pretty sure handed for Brees. Henderson's value for week two is dependent on Moore's status for next week, so don't go making a break for the wire just yet.

11/25/2010 9:05:00 PM
Description: Henderson had four receptions for 97 yards against Dallas on Thursday.
Insight: Henderson had a 57-yard reception in the first quarter and a near touchdown where he was ruled down by contact later in the first half. He is still not a consistent fantasy option. (RapidDraft.com)

10/4/2010 1:05:00 PM
Description: Henderson had six receptions for 59 yards against Carolina on Sunday.
Insight: Henderson is not consistent enough to be a strong fantasy option. (RapidDraft.com)

9/21/2010 10:05:00 AM
Description: Henderson had three receptions for 28 yards in the Saints' win over the 49ers on Monday night.
Insight: Henderson may see a slight boost in fantasy value with Reggie Bush (right leg) out, but don't expect a lot of consistency with Drew Brees' propensity to spread the ball around. (RapidDraft.com)

9/10/2010 1:04:00 AM
Description: Henderson had two catches for 38 yards and a touchdown against Minnesota on Thursday night.
Insight: Henderson will be an inconsistent fantasy option with all the other options in the Saints' passing game. (RapidDraft.com)

6/7/2010 10:57:00 AM
Description: The New Orleans Times Picayune reports Henderson (hernia surgery) participated in Saints' minicamp on a limited basis this weekend.
Insight: Henderson underwent surgery to fix a sports hernia in May. He should be ready to go at full speed when training camp starts. (SportsBuff.com)

5/19/2010 1:39:00 PM
Description: The New Orleans Times Picayune reports Henderson (hernia) had sports hernia surgery on May 6.
Insight: Henderson should be fine for training camp, and should be able to maintain his fantasy value as long as he can stay healthy. (SportsBuff.com)

1/25/2010 9:48:00 AM
Description: Henderson had four receptions for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' win over the Vikings on Sunday.

12/7/2009 10:32:00 AM
Description: Henderson had six receptions for 61 yards in New Orleans' win over Washington on Sunday.
Insight: Henderson is still not consistent enough to be an every week fantasy option, but could be worth starting consideration in a favorable matchup next week against Atlanta. (SportsBuff.com)

12/1/2009 9:52:00 AM
Description: Henderson had three receptions for 116 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown, in the Saints' victory over New England on Monday night.
Insight: This was Henderson's first touchdown since Week 1. He is not consistent enough to be worth starting consideration on a weekly basis. (SportsBuff.com)

11/3/2009 11:07:00 AM
Description: Henderson had four receptions for 46 yards in New Orleans' win over Atlanta on Monday night.
Insight: Henderson is not consistent enough to be worth every week fantasy consideration, but could be usable in the right matchups. (SportsBuff.com)

9/14/2009 11:08:00 AM
Description: Henderson had five receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' Week 1 win over Detroit.
Insight: Henderson has not displayed consistency during his career, so he is a risky fantasy option. (SportsBuff.com)

4/14/2009 7:42:00 PM
Description: Henderson had 32 catches for 793 yards and three touchdowns last season with the Saints.
Insight: Henderson was a free agent but decided to re-sign with the Saints. He has averaged over 23 yards per catch over the last three seasons and should be considered a WR3 heading into 2009. (SportsBuff.com)

3/4/2009 4:10:00 PM
Description: The Saints have once again re-signed Henderson, according to NFL Network's Adam Schefter.
Insight: Terms of the deal apparently haven't been announced, but let's just assume that it's another one-year deal. New Orleans just keeps bringing him back for short terms, and Henderson just keeps being a mediocre receiver. At some point this season, he'll have a game with something like three catches for 115 yards and a touchdown or two. Let one of your leaguemates be the person who claims him after that. Somewhere in the distance, the voice of Jake Gyllenhaal calls, "I wish I knew how to quit you." (SportsBuff.com)
