Description: Chiefs running back Knile Davis suffered a sprained left knee and fractured fibula in Saturday's playoff game against the Colts, according to Reid Ferrin of kcchiefs.com.
Insight: Jamaal Charles suffered a concussion on the Chiefs' first drive of the game, forcing Kansas City to go to Davis. The rookie put up 100 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns on 25 touches after tallying 81 rushing yards and two scores on 27 carries with Charles resting in Week 17. Davis had an extensive injury history in college, missing all of his junior season due to a broken ankle.

Description: The Chiefs just can't catch a break. Now second-string running back Knile Davis will miss the rest of Saturday's game with a knee injury.
Insight: This is one of the most physical games we've seen in ages and both teams are paying the price. Since Jamaal Charles is already out with a possible concussion, the Chiefs will be forced to use return man Dexter McCluster at running back the rest of the way. Davis recorded exactly 100 yards from scrimmage before exiting.

Description: Chiefs rookie running back Knile Davis could be in for a heavy workload in Week 17 as Kansas City is expected to rest its stars.
Insight: Jamaal Charles might play a series or two, but as Kansas City is locked in as the fifth seed and has zero to play for, he won't be in there long. Andy Reid has always rested his stars in this situation.

Description: Chiefs rookie running back Knile Davis looked solid against San Francisco, rushing 10 times for 37 yards and catching three balls for 31 yards.
Insight: The questions with Davis have never been about talent. Davis is the handcuff for Jamaal Charles.

Description: Of all the Chiefs who were injured on Saturday, Knile Davis got it the worst. The rookie halfback sprained his left knee and also suffered a broken leg. SOURCE: Reid Ferrin, KCChiefs.com
Insight: It's going to be a long offseason for the 22-year-old. He should be back for OTAs in a few months but it's going to be a race against the clock.
