Named to pre-season Watch List for Butkus Award entering 2009 campaign and finished as a Second-Team All-Big Ten selection as he ranked fourth in the Hawkeyes with 78 tackles and was second on the unit with five interceptions...Honorable mention All-Big Ten as a junior as well following his 59-tackle effort in 2008...Had most productive season as a sophomore in 2007 when he logged 80 total tackles, fulfilling the promise of being named an honorable mention Freshman All-American a year earlier.
