Raiders' Pryor won't play against Texans

Alameda, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Oakland Raiders have formally ruled quarterback Terrelle Pryor out for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.

Pryor had been listed as questionable on Friday's final injury report due to a sprained right knee he aggravated during last week's 24-20 loss to the New York Giants. Rookie Matt McGloin will draw his first NFL start in Pryor's place.

McGloin, an undrafted college free agent, saw his only regular-season action during Oakland' blowout loss to Philadelphia in Week 9. The Penn State product completed 7-of-15 for 87 yards after replacing Pryor, who initially injured the knee in that game but managed to play against the Giants.

Pryor, one of the league's most dangerous running quarterbacks, attempted just five rushing attempts totaling 19 yards in last week's loss while clearly favoring his right knee. The third-year pro had amassed 200 yards on the ground over the Raiders' previous two contests.
