Week 11 Chiefs-Broncos flexed to Sunday Night Football
New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The much-anticipated Week 11 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos became the first flex- scheduled game of the year, replacing Packers-Giants on Sunday Night Football.
At the moment, the 8-0 Chiefs and 7-1 Broncos are locked in a battle for first place in the AFC West. The Nov. 17 game at Denver will be played at 8:30 p.m. (ET).
The Packers-Giants game will move into the 4:25 p.m. spot on FOX, while Chargers-Dolphins will be played at 4:05 p.m. on CBS.
The NFL uses "flexible scheduling" on Sundays in Weeks 11-17. Flexible scheduling ensures quality matchups in all NFL Sunday time slots in those weeks and gives teams a chance to play their way onto primetime and into the late-afternoon time slot on CBS or FOX.
