TeamRecordPrevious Rank
1. GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS58-131
There is a lot of statistical data that points to a Warriors title.
2. ATLANTA HAWKS54-172
Unsung Hawks piece? Dennis Schroeder, the 2nd-year backup point is good.
3. MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES50-223
Bad loss at home vs. Cleveland. Face Golden State on Friday. Then, SA.
4. CLEVELAND CAVALIERS47-264
Kevin Love gets killed for honesty. Nonsense that accompanies great team.
5. HOUSTON ROCKETS48-235
Dwight Howard will be brought back slowly. I like this team in playoffs.
6. LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS47-257
5-game winning streak coming at a good time. Need Crawford back badly.
7. PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS45-256
Sputtering big time right now. Every game is critical.
8. SAN ANTONIO SPURS45-269
Would you bet a mortgage payment on them coming out of the west? Maybe.
9. DALLAS MAVERICKS45-278
4 of final 5 games on schedule vs. non-playoff teams, so they might move.
10. CHICAGO BULLS44-2910
Chicago (fully healthy) vs. Cleveland will be best playoff series.
11. TORONTO RAPTORS42-3011
Starting to have less than 10 percent faith in them.
12. OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER41-3113
What a crew of young bigs - Adams, Kanter, McGary. Best roster in NBA.
13. WASHINGTON WIZARDS40-3212
Impossible to get a handle on them. I give.
14. PHOENIX SUNS38-3415
Home losses to the Sacramento Kings make me question playoff moxy.
15. NEW ORLEANS PELICANS37-3414
They'll be tough next season. Need to stay healthy. Can't do it.
16. MILWAUKEE BUCKS36-3616
Jason Kidd has used almost everyone on his roster this season.
17. MIAMI HEAT33-3818
Remember, won 2 easily this season in Miami against LeBron and Cavs.
18. BOSTON CELTICS31-4019
Lost 4 of 5 and reached 8th in the East. Getting sick.
19. UTAH JAZZ31-4017
That sound you heard was Utah crashing back to earth.
20. INDIANA PACERS31-4120
George Hill has been much better than I ever thought he'd be.
21. BROOKLYN NETS30-4022
Brook Lopez has been VERY good in last 10 days or so.
22. CHARLOTTE HORNETS29-3721
Have scored less than 70 points twice in the last 5 games.
23. DETROIT PISTONS27-4424
Playing better. Weird offseason with Monroe and Jackson. KCP doing OK.
24. SACRAMENTO KINGS26-4525
4-game winning streak. See, told ya George Karl is a genius.
25. DENVER NUGGETS27-4523
I'd give Melvin Hunt the job. Why not? Team needs to pick identity.
26. ORLANDO MAGIC22-5126
Elfrid Payton is playing very well. All-Rookie 1st-teamer for sure.
27. LOS ANGELES LAKERS19-5127
Winning games they shouldn't (Philly/Minny) is so Lakers.
28. PHILADELPHIA 76ERS18-5428
Nerlens Noel will be 2nd in Rookie of the Year vote.
29. MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES16-5529
Like pieces of this nucleus. Can they shed veterans to go totally young?
30. NEW YORK KNICKS14-5830
Everyone relax - they would beat Kentucky.
