(SportsNetwork.com) - The Arizona Diamondbacks shoot for a three-game sweep of the NL West-rival Colorado Rockies Sunday at Chase Field.

The Diamondbacks clinched a series win with Saturday's 14-4 pounding of the Rockies, as David Peralta clubbed a grand slam and finished with a career-high five RBI. Mark Trumbo also homered and recorded four RBI and Alfredo Marte went deep for Arizona, which has won two straight after losing three in a row and five of six games.

"I don't really judge success on home runs, but competitive at-bats," said Trumbo, who hadn't homered since April 21. "Some at-bats have been better than others. I got here earlier today to work on some things. It's still a work in progress."

Cliff Pennington was 3-for-4 with four runs scored and an RBI, while Ender Inciarte collected three hits and two runs scored. Arizona had 15 hits and starting pitcher Trevor Cahill won his second game of the season (2-8) by allowing three runs, two of which were earned, in seven innings.

Arizona is 4-5 on this 10-game homestand and will hit the road for the next 10 games against Cleveland, Miami and Washington.

Taking the mound for the D-backs Sunday will be Wade Miley. Miley is 7-8 with a 4.61 earned run average and has lost two of his last three appearances. In Tuesday's 12-2 beating at the hands of the Kansas City Royals, Miley was hammered for 10 runs and nine hits over 4 2/3 innings.

Miley was coming off 6 2/3 shutout innings on July 30 at Cincinnati. The left- hander is only 2-6 in 12 home starts, but has a 7-1 career mark in 11 games (10 starts) against the Rockies.

Colorado has lost three in a row and 11 of the past 13 games. Jorge De La Rosa was dealt the loss last night and gave up four runs in six innings. Tom Kahnle also allowed four runs and Nick Masset permitted six.

"Trumbo was the big one off of (De La Rosa)," said Rockies manager Walt Weiss, who called a brief team meeting before the game. "(De La Rosa) always goes out and puts us in position to win games."

Nolan Arenado ended 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored for Colorado, which has lost six in a row and 14 of 15 road games. The Rockies are a miserable 17-41 on the road.

Franklin Morales tries to pitch the Rockies to a win Sunday and is 5-6 with a 5.08 earned run average. Morales is 0-2 in his last four appearances and lasted only three innings in a 6-5 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday, but did not figure into the decision.

Morales allowed one run and two hits versus the Cubs. The left-hander has faced Arizona 18 times (5 starts) in his career, going 2-2 with a 3.82 ERA.

Arizona is 7-4 against the NL West-rival Rockies this season and has won six straight in this series.
