(Friday, March 28th)

Final Score: Kansas City 5, Milwaukee 4

Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Billy Butler belted his first home run of the spring and the Kansas City Royals held off the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-4, Friday night.

Ryan Braun homered in his return to Miller Park. It was his first at-bat in Milwaukee's home stadium since his 65-game suspension ended the final portion of his 2013 season. Braun doubled in his first plate appearance and then smacked a three-run shot in the third off KC starter Jason Vargas.

Matt Garza allowed six hits and four runs -- two earned -- over 3 2/3 innings for the Brewers, while Vargas gave up two hits over the first three frames.

The Royals, who fell behind 3-1 in the third, put up three runs in the fourth and one more in the fifth.
