Reds minor leaguer Tuttle suspended

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Cincinnati Reds minor league pitcher Daniel Tuttle was given a 50-game suspension by Major League Baseball for a second violation the drug and treatment program for a drug abuse.

Tuttle, who plays for the Arizona League Reds, was 3-1 with a 3.91 ERA in five games (3 starts) this season. The 20-year-old right-hander was Cincinnati's fifth-round draft selection in 2009.
