29th Breeders Crown set for Saturday

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - A dozen races are on tap Saturday night for the running of the 29th Breeders Crown at Woodbine Race Course. More than $6 million will be up for grabs during the championship races.

Tuesday afternoon post positions were drawn for the $555,000 Breeders Crown 3- Year-Old Colt and Gelding Trot. Leading the field of 10 is Hambletonian winner Market Share, trained by Linda Toscano.

Here is the field for the race from the rail out: Mr Chicago, Scott Zeron; Prestidigitator, Sylvain Filion; Intimidate, Sylvain Filion; Little Brown Fox, Yannick Gingras; Another Amaretto, Andy Miller; Knows Nothing, Jody Jamieson; Guccio, Jimmy Takter; Market Share, Tim Tetrick; Stormin Normand, David Miller and Solvato, Trond Smedshammer.

Chapter Seven, winner of last year's 3-Year-Old Colt and Gelding Trot, leads a field of six for the $600,000 Breeders Crown Open Trot.

Here is the field for the Open Trot in post position order: Daylon Magician, Jack Moiseyev; Mister Herbie, Jody Jamieson; Hot Shot Blue Chip, Corey Callahan; Commander Crowe, Christophe Martens; Arch Madness, Trond Smedshammer and Chapter Seven. Tim Tetrick.

Bettor Sweet is back to defend his title in the $500,000 Open Pace. The 7- year-old gelding will be driven by David Miller from post seven in the 10- horse field.
