Colts supplemented to Breeders Crown at Woodbine

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - A pair of high profile trotters have been added to the 2011 Breeders Crown Three-year-old Trot. The mile race will be part of the 12 championship harness races set for Saturday, October 29 at Woodbine.

Daylon Magician, winner of the Canadian Trotting Classic, and Kentucky Futurity runner-up Dejarmbro have both been supplemented to the Three-year-old Trot at a cost of $62,500 a piece. The race will now have a purse of $610,000.

Owned by Dave and Mary Lemon, Daylon Magician has won 11 of 14 starts this year for $967,725. Trained by Dave Lemon, the colt was second last week in the Ontario Sire Stakes Gold Series final to Delcrest Julian.

Dejarmbro, owned by Purple Haze Stable, has banked $853,623 in 2011 with nine wins in 16 starts. He was defeated in the Kentucky Futurity race-off by Manofmanymissions by less than a length.

The Breeders Crown races will have a total value of $6 million.
