NOTES:
The LPGA Tour is in Taiwan this week for the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship 2012. Six of the top 10 players in the world are in the field, led by defending champion and Taiwan native Yani Tseng.

Tseng, the world No. 1, finished tied for third last week at the LPGA KEB - HanaBank Championship. It was her first top 10 finish in a stroke play event since April. In contrast, world No. 5 and money leader Inbee Park finished tied for 15th last week, breaking her string of 10 consecutive top 10's. World No. 7 Suzann Pettersen captured the title last week for her first victory of 2012.

This tournament is being held at Sunrise Golf & Country Club, which was designed by Robert Trent Jones II and opened in 1992. The 2011 tournament was the first LPGA Tour event ever held in Taiwan. It coincided with Taiwan celebrating its 100th year of independence.

Last year, Tseng fired a 6-under 66 in the final round to win the inaugural tournament by an impressive five strokes over Amy Yang and Azahara Munoz. Tseng finished the event at 16-under-par 272.

The LPGA Tour travels to Japan next week for the Mizuno Classic, where Momoko Ueda won the 2011 title.
