Hershey, PA (Sports Network) - Ellen Port and Jane Fitzgerald will square off in the final of the U.S. Women's Senior Amateur Championship after both golfers earned a pair of wins on Wednesday.

Port, the 2011 U.S. Mid-Amateur champion, opened Wednesday with a 1-up quarterfinal victory over Carolyn Creekmore, the 2004 winner of this championship.

In the semifinals, Port took a 6 & 4 decision over Lecia Alexander at Hershey Country Club.

Fitzgerald was a 2-up victor over Joan Higgins in the quarterfinals. She then ousted the championship's top seed, Lisa Schlesinger, 4 & 3, to reach the final.

The championship round will take place on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. (ET).
