Yang, who rallied to beat Tiger Woods, who lost his first 54-hole lead in a major.

As bad a McIlroy has been this year, he might be worth the risk at Oak Hill. The partially retired Stricker will make just his 10th start of the year at Oak Hill, if his hamstring makes it through this weekend at Firestone. Hurt his hamstring recently on vacation. Has top-20 finishes in six of his first eight starts, and has three straight top-20s at the PGA Championship. Best finish was way back in 1998, and he did not play Oak Hill in 2003.
