Robinson strongest among Week 2 sleepers
Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Hopefully your lineup is still intact as we head into Week 2 Sunday, but for those of you who have been beset by injuries or a poor draft or play in a deep league with custom position settings, there are some options.

Here are some sleepers for Week 2 with a realistic shot at posting starter- caliber numbers.

Quarterback

Christian Ponder, Minnesota Vikings - Ponder shockingly completed 74.1 percent of his passes on 27 attempts last week against the Jaguars, and he'll get another lousy defense in Week 2 against the Colts. Indianapolis just got shredded for 333 passing yards and two scores by Jay Cutler last week. I don't think Minnesota is ready to give Adrian Peterson 25 carries yet, so look for Ponder to air it out another 25-30 times and get the ball in the end zone a couple of times after putting up zero TDs a week ago.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Buffalo Bills - Yes, Fitzpatrick threw three picks a week ago but he balanced it out with three touchdowns against a good Jets defense. Against a Chiefs unit dealing with multiple absences to key players due to injury and suspension, Fitzpatrick will have a much better day in Week 2. Think less interceptions, more yardage.

Running back

Jacquizz Rodgers, Atlanta Falcons - There's not many sleepers in the RB ranks this week but I think Rodgers qualifies after he had just 35 total yards in Week 1. Michael Turner looks done, and Denver is going to provide much more resistance against Atlanta's receivers than Kansas City did so the Falcons are going to be forced to get the running backs involved somehow. Enter Rodgers to turn in a multi-purpose effort worthy of a flex start, something along the lines of 45 rushing yards, 35 receiving yards on five catches and a touchdown.

Wide receiver

Aldrick Robinson, Washington Redskins - Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com is reporting that the Redskins don't expect Pierre Garcon to play Sunday due to the foot injury he suffered in Week 1. Robinson took over for Garcon after he left last week's game and finished with four catches, 52 yards and a touchdown. Robinson has a strong chance at putting up WR3 numbers with Garcon out.

Donald Jones, Buffalo Bills - David Nelson's ACL tear will open the door for Jones to have a larger role in Buffalo's passing offense. As I mentioned above, Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick should have an easy time against Kansas City's defense this week so Jones is likely to reach the end zone again and catch 4-6 passes.

Dexter McCluster, Kansas City Chiefs - Jamaal Charles' knee injury forced the Chiefs to have to use McCluster more frequently out of the backfield last season, but that actually hurt his fantasy value. Now that Kansas City has Charles back with Peyton Hillis backing him up, McCluster will play in the slot the majority of the time, giving him more of an opportunity to catch and run with the ball instead of hauling in short passes out of the backfield that go nowhere. McCluster is more of a PPR play but he should see enough targets to make him a decent flex play in deeper standard leagues.

Tight end

Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings - Rudolph grabbed five balls for 67 yards in Week 1 as the second most targeted Minnesota receiver. Minnesota should be able to get the matchups it wants with Rudolph against Indianapolis' linebackers and safeties Sunday.
