Description: Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury allowed four goals on 32 shots against the Flyers on Wednesday.

Description: The Flyers will start Ray Emery on Wednesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Description: Senators goalie Craig Anderson stopped all 30 shots he faced in a shut out over the Panthers on Columbus Day.
Insight: The victory is Anderson's first of the season The shut out is also huge as Anderson is trying to stay in front of Robin Lehner for the No. 1 goalie spot on the depth chart.
Roberto Luongo, G, FLA10/13/2014 10:13:00 PM
Description: Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo allowed just one goal against the Senators on Monday and lost, 1-0.
Insight: Luongo stopped 22-of-23 shots for a .957 save percentage, but it was not enough to lead Florida to victory. The Senators crashed the net hard, and Luongo looked shaken up a few times, but he played the entire game besides when Florida went with an empty net.
Michal Neuvirth, G, BUF10/13/2014 7:23:00 PM
Description: Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth faced 44 shots during Monday's loss to Anaheim.
Insight: He let up five goals on the flurry of shots he faced. Neuvirth is now 0-3-0 on the season, and is not a recommended option.
Reto Berra, G, COL10/13/2014 4:22:00 PM
Description: Avalanche goalie Reto Berra saved 27-of-28 opportunities in a, 2-1, victory over the Bruins on Columbus Day.
Insight: Berra only allowed a power play goal. He could be a solid backup this season, playing behind starter Semyon Valamov.
Niklas Svedberg, G, BOS10/13/2014 4:19:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Niklas Svedberg saved 28 of 30 shots in a gut-wrenching loss against the Avalanche on Monday.
Insight: The Bruins were one second away from at least one point when Svedberg allowed Daniel Briere's shot to squeak by for the game-winner. This was Svedberg's second career start, and he will serve as Tuukka Rask's backup this year.
Martin Jones, G, LOS10/13/2014 9:40:00 AM
Description: Kings backup goalie Martin Jones turned away 29 of 30 shot en route to a solid 4-1 victory over Winnipeg Sunday.
Insight: Jones did extremely well last season (12-6, 1.81 GAA, .934 SV%), but he'll have limited opportunities behind starter Jonathan Quick.
Henrik Lundqvist, G, NYR10/13/2014 9:36:00 AM
Description: It was a night to forget for Rangers netminder Henrik Lundqvist as he gave up six goals on 24 shots.
Insight: Lundqvist was pulled in the second period. We have no doubts he'll be a top goaltender again this season, this was just one of those days. He's won 53.8 percent of his games over his career and has won at least 30 games every season except the 2012-13 48-game campaign.
Henrik Lundqvist, G, NYR10/12/2014 11:26:00 AM
Description: Rangers netminder Henrik Lundqvist will be in goal Sunday, after getting the night off against Columbus.
Insight: Cam Talbot starting in Saturday's loss to the Blue Jackets, but will give way to New York's star goalie against Toronto.. Lundqvist earned the victory in his first start of the season, turning away 25-of-27 shots on goal.
Alex Stalock, G, SJS10/12/2014 10:19:00 AM
Description: Sharks goalie Alex Stalock pitched a shutout in first start of the season.
Insight: After Antti Niemi shut out the Kings on opening night, Stalock matched his counterpart. He stopped all 30 shots he faced, and now owners will need to keep an eye on Stalock, to see if he becomes a relevant fantasy player.
Jonathan Quick, G, LOS10/12/2014 10:06:00 AM
Description: Kings goalie Jonathan Quick is still in search of his first win of the season.
Insight: After giving up four goals in the opener, Quick gave up another three Saturday night, in an overtime loss to the Coyotes. He was much better in his second game however, stopping 37-of-40 shots. He is now 0-1-1, but owners should not worry, as Quick is one of the elite goalies in the NHL.
Pekka Rinne, G, NAS10/12/2014 12:50:00 AM
Description: Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne stopped 17 of 18 shots en route to a 4-1 victory over Dallas.
Insight: He looks healthy after the hip issues of a season ago. Rinne's 2-0 in his return and his solid net play should help all Nashville players improve on their plus/minus rating.
Cory Schneider, G, NJD10/12/2014 12:39:00 AM
Description: Devils netminder Cory Schneider stopped 28 of 29 shots Saturday night.
Insight: Schneider was ugly in the team's opener, giving up four goals, so this was a nice rebound performance. He's 2-0-0 and we are expecting a lot from him after last season's 1.97 GAA.
Braden Holtby, G, WAS10/12/2014 12:32:00 AM
Description: Washington netminder Braden Holtby stopped all 29 shots in recording a 4-0 shutout of the tough Boston Bruins in Boston.
Insight: Holtby could be in for a good season if the Capitals defenders continue to pay attention to the ice in front of him. That hasn't always been the case in the past.
Brian Elliott, G, STL10/12/2014 12:23:00 AM
Description: Blues goalie Brian Elliott (33 saves) made 23 saves on 24 shots Saturday after a rare poor performance Thursday.
Insight: We have come to expect a lot from Elliott after the past three successful seasons and we're glad to have him playing well after the opener.
Robin Lehner, G, OTT10/12/2014 12:18:00 AM
Description: Senators backup goalie Robin Lehner started and likely earned more ice time off his 38-save 3-2 victory..
Insight: Lehner could eventually take the starting job from Craig Anderson if he can return to his 2012-13 form (5-3. 2.20 GAA, .936 SV%).
Semyon Varlamov, G, COL10/11/2014 1:04:00 PM
Description: Avalanche goalie Semyon Varlamov will start on Saturday against the Wild.
Insight: Coach Patrick Roy pulled Varlamov in the season opener against the Wild on Thursday after he allowed five goals in the first two periods. Although Varlamov did not play well, the entire team did not perform. Look for a bounce back game from Varlamov.
Jonas Hiller, G, CAL10/11/2014 12:45:00 PM
Description: Flames goalie Jonas Hiller will start in net against the Blues on Saturday.
Insight: Hiller was great in his Falmes debut against the Canucks on Wednesday, but Calgary lost, 3-2. Hiller and other goalie Karri Ramo are expected to share time in the net this year, but Hiller appears to have the edge at the moment.
Viktor Fasth, G, EDM10/11/2014 12:00:00 PM
Description: Goalie Viktor Fasth will start in goal for Edmonton on Saturday.
Insight: Ben Scrivens started on opening night but Fasth will be between the pipes against the Canucks on Saturday. Fasth had a .914 save percentage and 2.73 GAA for Edmonton last season.
Carey Price, G, MON10/11/2014 11:32:00 AM
Description: Canadiens goaltender Carey Price will return to the ice on Saturday against the Flyers.
Insight: Price won the season opener on Wednesday against the Maple Leafs, but he got the night off Thursday in Washington. Backup goalie Dustin Tokarski won that game. Price should return to your starting fantasy lineup on Saturday.
Ryan Miller, G, VAN10/11/2014 11:29:00 AM
Description: Goalie Ryan Miller will make his home debut in Vancouver on Saturday.
Insight: Miller stopped 23 of 25 shots in a victory over the Flames in Calgary on Thursday. Vancouver will welcome the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday. Miller could be a top-10 fantasy goalie again this season, but he must play well against the lower-tier teams like Edmonton in order for that to happen.
Jaroslav Halak, G, NYI10/10/2014 9:58:00 PM
Description: Islanders goalie Jaroslav Halak stopped 21 of 24 shots against the Hurricanes on Friday to capture his first victory of the season.
Insight: Halak was pitching a shutout through two periods and looked good, but gave up three goals in the final period. Halak has never played more than 57 games in a season during his career, but he should easily surpass that if he stays healthy.
Cam Ward, G, CAR10/10/2014 9:55:00 PM
Description: Hurricanes goalie Cam Ward allowed five goals on 26 shots on opening night against the Islanders.
Insight: Ward is battling Anton Khudobin for minutes between the pipes and this performance does not bode well for Ward staying in front of Khudobin on the depth chart. The Hurricanes and Islanders play again on Long Island Saturday, so expect Khudobin to start.
Robin Lehner, G, OTT10/10/2014 5:48:00 PM
Description: Senators backup goalie Robin Lehner will start on Saturday according to the Ottawa Sun.
Insight: Lehner will likely see more minutes than the average backup goalie this season, and there is even a chance that Lehner eventually takes the starting job from Craig Anderson. Keep him on your radar.
Cam Talbot, G, NYR10/10/2014 4:45:00 PM
Description: Rangers backup goaltender Cam Talbot will start in Saturday's game against the Blue Jackets according to The Bergen Record.
Insight: This will be a rare start for Talbot because the Rangers still have that Henrik Lundqvist guy who is pretty good.
Jonathan Bernier, G, TOR10/10/2014 11:48:00 AM
Description: Maple Leafs goalie Jonathan Bernier is expected to start on Saturday with backup goaltender James Reimer getting the start on Sunday against the Rangers.
Insight: Reimer is due a start because of the back-to-back games, but Bernier needs to play better than he did on Wednesday in the season opener. He allowed four goals on 32 shots. Bernier should rebound on Saturday.
Henrik Lundqvist, G, NYR10/9/2014 10:49:00 PM
Description: Rangers netminder Henrik Lundqvist picked up his first victory of the season.
Insight: He had 23 saves on 25 shots, and looked good in the season-opener. Lundqvist will remain an elite option at goalie, for the 2014-15 season.
Ben Bishop, G, TAM10/9/2014 10:27:00 PM
Description: Lightning goalie Ben Bishop stopped 19-of-21 shots and had the game-winning assist against the Panthers on opening night.
Insight: Bishop came out of the crease on a Panthers clear and passed the puck up ice to defenseman Victor Hedman. He had a wide open lane because the Panthers were in a line change, and Hedman scored to win the game. Bishop looked great in his first real action since early April. Bishop missed the playoffs with an injury.
Jimmy Howard, G, DET10/9/2014 10:26:00 PM
Description: Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard did enough to earn victory, in first game of the season.
Insight: He faced only 17 shots, but stopped 16 of them, for a .941 save percentage. Howard will have a treemdous opportunity to put together a big season this year with Detroit.
Tuukka Rask, G, BOS10/9/2014 10:24:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask suffered his first loss of the season.
Insight: He had 22 saves on 24 shots, but it was not enough in a 2-1 loss to Detroit. Rask is now 1-1-0, but will have every opportunity to be in the running for the Vezina Trophy.
Braden Holtby, G, WAS10/9/2014 10:18:00 PM
Description: Washington netminder Braden Holtby played well in loss.
Insight: He had 23 saves on 24 shots, and eventually fell to the Canadiens, in a 2-1 shootout loss. Even though he came out on the wrong side of the scoreboard, it was a positive first game for Holtby.
Sergei Bobrovsky, G, CLB10/9/2014 9:56:00 PM
Description: Blue Jackets goalie Sergei Bobrovsky made 22 saves and allowed just one goal in a victory over the Sabres on Thursday.
Insight: That's good for a .955 save percentage after game one. The goal Bobrovsky allowed was on the power play. Columbus' next game will be against the New York Rangers on Saturday.
Tuukka Rask, G, BOS10/9/2014 7:50:00 PM
Description: Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask is starting on Thursday against the Red Wings.
Insight: The Bruins begin the season with back-to-back games on Wednesday and Thursday this week, but Boston will have its Vezina trophy winning goalie between the pipes for both games. Rask stopped 19-of-20 shots against the Flyers on Wednesday.
Cam Ward, G, CAR10/9/2014 6:01:00 PM
Description: Hurricanes goalie Cam Ward will start the team's opening game on Friday.
Insight: Carolina will take on the New York Islanders in a home-and-home series on Friday and Saturday. Expect Anton Khudobin to start on Saturday.
Steve Mason, G, PHI10/9/2014 4:54:00 PM
Description: Flyers goalie Steve Mason gets the nod again Thursday, against the Devils.
Insight: He started the season-opener Wednesday night against Boston, stopping 31-of-33 shots in a 2-1 loss. Mason was impressive against the Bruins, making the decision by coach Craig Berube an obvious one, this early in the season.
