Description: Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith was extraordinary in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals against the Ducks on Wednesday.
Insight: Keith started all three of the Blackhawks first three goals in the game. On the first one, he made a long stretch pass up ice, which Brandon Saad grabbed, sped into the offensive zone and beat Frederik Andersen. On the second goal, Keith faked his shot about two or three times and then found an open Marian Hossa on the other side of the goal. Hossa finished the play easily. Finally, Keith then saved a puck from leaving the offensive zone and then found Patrick Kane streaking to the net. Kane dazzled passed several defenders and scored. All three of those beautiful plays happened in the second period. Keith has two goals and 14 assists in 16 playoff games this spring. Chicago won Game 6, 5-2. Game 7 will be on Saturday.
Description: Ducks defenseman Sami Vatanen scored once in the first period and assisted on the game-winner in the third period.
Insight: Vatanen missed 15 games, but still posted 12 goals and 25 assists during the regular season with 17 of those points on the power play. He has played just as well in the "second season" with three goals and seven assists in 14 playoff games.
