Description: Wild right winger Jason Pominville notched two assists and a +2 rating Saturday against Tampa Bay.
Insight: He helped Minnesota win 7-2, and owners are hoping that Saturday's contest gets Pominville going. He now has five points, and will need to pick up his game, for him to be a reliable fantasy player.
Description: Wild center Charlie Coyle signed a five-year, $16 million extension with the team on Wednesday according to the startribune.com.
Insight: Coyle is in his last season of his entry-level contract. The new deal will come with a $3.2 million annual cap hit starting next season. Many experts have said this is a great move for Minnesota, but it likely has no effect on fantasy owners.
Description: Wild goalie Darcy Kuemper took his first loss of the season Friday against the Ducks.
Insight: He had two shutouts in his first two starts of the season, but could not keep that trend going on Friday. Kuemper stopped 24-of-26 shots, and is now 2-1-0 with a 0.67 goals against average and a .972 save percentage. Owners scoop him up, if Kuemper is still available.
Description: Minnesota left wing Zach Parise is off to an impressive start to the season.
Insight: He had a goal Saturday night against Colorado, but what should catch owners' eyes even more, is that Parise now has 19 shots through two games. He has five points on the season, along with a +5 rating. This could be the start of a career-season for Parise.
Description: Wild defenseman Ryan Suter should be pushing for 50 points this year.
Insight: He has never done it during his career, with 46 points being the most he has accumulated (2011-12 with Nashville). Suter had 43 points (8 goals, 35 assists) last season, and will have a tremendous opportunity to prouce a career-high total in 2014-15.
Description: Wild center Charlie Coyle is not fantasy-relevant heading into 2014-15.
Insight: Another young piece to Minesota's puzzle, still has a ton of room to grow. Coming off a year with 30 points in 70 games, Coyle will need to produce at a much higher rate, for owners to take a chance on him.
Description: Wild left wing Thomas Vanek will look to make a positive impact during his first season in Minnesota.
Insight: Vanek will not have as much pressure as he has had in the past, as he begins the season on the Wild's second line. Figure him to score around 60-70 points, which should result in owners drafting him around the sixth round.
Description: Wild right winger Jason Pominville is coming off a productive season in Minnesota.
Insight: After playing only 10 games during his first season with the Wild, Pominville was able to suit up for all 82 games last year. He produced nicely, with 30 goals and 30 assists, and should be able to at least duplicate those numbers in 2014-15. Target Pominville beginning in the 12th round.
Description: Wild center Mikko Koivu should be drafted late in drafts this season.
Insight: He had 11 goals and 43 assists in 65 games last year. If he can play all 82 games he should be around the 65-point mark, giving him decent fantasy value. Koivu should benefit from playing on Minnesota's talented first line.

Insight: He had 56 points (29 goals, 27 assists) in 67 games last season, with a +10 rating. Parise should be drafted starting in the third round this year, and will have a great opportunity to be around the 70 or 80-point mark, as long as he can stay healthy.
Description: Devils defenseman Marek Zidlicky is a high-end No. 3 defenseman in fantasy this year.
Insight: Zidlicky will start the year playing the point on the Devils power play. Eventually, we expect youngster Eric Gelinas to take that role sometime this year, but Zidlicky should produce on the power play and put up solid plus/minus numbers with D-partner Bryce Salvador.
Description: Thomas Vanek has signed a three-year, $19.5 million deal with the Wild.
Insight: Minnesota will be the fourth team Vanek has played for since the start of the 2013-14 season. Vanek played for the University of Minnesota from 2002-04. He had fantasy value everywhere he went last season, producing nine points in 13 games with Buffalo, 15 points in 18 games with Montreal and 44 points in 47 games with the New York Islanders. He should challenge the 70-point mark again in 2014-15.
