Description: Anaheim center Ryan Getzlaf took a shot to the face Wednesday in Game 1 but should be ready for Friday's Game 2. SOURCE: Eric Stephens, Orange County Register
Insight: If you have a weak stomach you're not going to want to see the replay. Getzlaf's a hockey player though so he'll brush it off. He had two points in Anaheim's win on Wednesday night (one goal, one assist).

Description: Ducks right wing Teemu Selanne will miss Saturday's game to rest.

Description: Anaheim center Saku Koivu will miss Saturday's game against Los Angeles for rest.
Insight: Koivu has scored 10 goals with 18 assist this season which isn't fantasy worthy for a center.
Cam Fowler, D4/10/2014 6:14:00 PM
Description: Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler (sprained MCL) returned to action Wednesday against the Sharks.
Insight: Fowler (6 G, 30 A) had been out since March 14 and wasn't expected to play initially, but he ended up skating 20 minutes in the win.

Description: Ducks backup goalie Frederik Andersen left Friday'a game with an upper-body injury and is questionable for Monday's game against Vancouver.
Insight: Andersen has been great as a backup going 19-5-0 with a 2.27 GAA and .924 SV%. Starter Jonas Hiller has lost his last two and could probably use a night off, but that won't happen until Andersen is healthy.
Teemu Selanne, RW3/30/2014 5:59:00 PM
Description: Ducks right wing Teemu Selanne missed Saturday's game to rest.
Insight: Selanne should be back Monday against the Jets. The 43-year-old has contributed five points (two goals) over his last six games but just 25 points in 58 games this season.

Cam Fowler, D3/19/2014 6:53:00 PM
Description: Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler has been diagnosed with a sprained MCL. SOURCE: Eric Stephens, Orange County Register
Insight: He'll be sidelined for 3-to-5 weeks. It's safe to drop Fowler (six goals, 40 assists in 67 games) from all fantasy rosters at this point.

Description: Ducks center Nick Bonino (lower body) is questionable for Thursday's game against San Jose, according to Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register.

Luca Sbisa, D3/10/2014 11:44:00 AM
Description: Ducks defenseman Luca Sbisa is questionable for Monday's game against Toronto with a lower body injury.
Insight: Injuries have limited the 23-year-old this season. Despite his potential, we're still waiting for the 2008 first-round pick to emerge as a fantasy option (zero goals, two assists in 17 games this season). Keep looking.
Teemu Selanne, RW3/7/2014 2:54:00 PM
Description: Ducks right wing Teemu Selanne is questionable for Friday's game against Pittsburgh due to flu-like symptoms.
Insight: Selanne has just one point since Jan 30 (he's played six of eight games). No coincidently, he's not gotten as much as 14 minutes of ice time in any of the six games. Once a 100-point socrer, it's time to look elsewhere for fantasy offense.

Insight: The 37-year-old blueliner hasn't played since Nov. 29 due to a broken leg and was traded from Dallas to Anaheim Tuesday. When Robidas returns, he'll play with Francois Beauchemin on the Ducks' top defensive pairing, but he probably won't have much fantasy value because Cam Fowler is the Ducks' top power-play defenseman.
Stephane Robidas, D3/4/2014 4:51:00 PM
Description: Dallas traded defenseman Stephane Robidas to the Anaheim Ducks for a conditional fourth-round pick on Tuesday.
Insight: The 37-year-old blueliner hasn't played since Nov. 29 due to a broken leg. He has four goals and one assist in 24 games this season and isn't worth holding.

Description: Swiss goalie Jonah Hiller was dominant in Saturday's shutout win over the Czech Republic.
Insight: He finished with 26 saves. Hiller has yet to give up a goal in these Olympics (47-for-47 on save opportunities). Switzerland is 2-1 heading into the playoff round of the tournament.

Description: Anaheim center Nick Bonino is doubtful for Saturday's game against Dallas due to an upper-body injury, possibly a wrist.

Jonas Hiller, GHot1/26/2014 3:36:00 PM
Description: Ducks goaltender Jonas Hiller has gone 15-2-0 with a 2.02 GAA and a .922 SV% over his last 17 games.

Description: Ducks defenseman Sheldon Souray will need a second surgery on his right wrist and is expected to miss the remainder of the 2013-14 season, according to the Orange County Register.
Insight: Souray has some offensive skills and could have been useful down the stretch. He totaled 17 points with a +19 rating in 44 2012 games and has scored as many as 64 points in a season. Add in his PIM and he's a solid fantasy option ... for next season.
Viktor Fasth, G1/17/2014 9:48:00 AM
Description: Anaheim goalie Victor Fasth's 3-to-4 week lower body injury is now in week No. 8 with no word of a comeback.
Insight: Fasth (2-2-1, 2.95 GAA, .885 SV%) had mostly taken a back seat to a hot Jonas Hiller, but was a solid option last season going 15-6 with a 2.18 GAA, .921 SV% and four shutouts.

Insight: Hiller has won an incredible 14 straight starts for the Ducks. Dustin Penner, LW1/10/2014 9:40:00 AM

Description: Ducks right wing Kyle Palmieri has four goals and seven points in his last six games.
Insight: We'd like Palmieri a lot more if he saw time with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry, but he's been doing just fine lately while being moved around the team's other lines.

Description: Anaheim left wing Jakob Silfverberg (broken hand) returned to the lineup on Tuesday and scored a goal on three shots.

Description: Ducks right wing Teemu Selanne will take a seat Saturday against the Blues. SOURCE: Eric Stephens, Orange County Register

Jakob Silfverberg, LW11/22/2013 11:11:00 AM
Description: Anaheim left wing Jakob Silfverberg says the original estimate of 4-6 weeks was wrong and he'll be out 8-10 weeks, according to Eric Stephens, beat writer for the Orange County Register.
Insight: That puts Silfverberg on track for a return around the New Year. Silfverberg (4G, 3A in 11 games) is a solid offensive weapon and a fantasy worthy option when he returns to the ice.
